Chekyan Race
Physical Description: At first, they begin as masks, but they slowly grow into an actual form (probably the one that fits the place they're in the most). The mask stays there though, but it can be broken into something smaller. Once there's no mask left, they die.
History: They seem to appear everytime a meteor falls from the sky, and they're a big part of many mythologies because of that. They're said to be sent by a bigger being to study how easy it would be to conquer, which explains why they can suddenly disappear.
Society: They never meet, because they study their surroundings the most and don't search for eachother. Most probably don't even know more of them exist.

Can choose it's appearance based on existing races that surround it's area.
Good at illusion magic.
Starts with minor illusion
Learns sleep on 3rd level
Learns mirror image on 5th level
Resistance to psychic and poison damage
Age: They're immortal.
Alignment: Depends on the place they grow up in.
Size/Speed: Depends on form taken.
Language(s): Again, it depends on the place they decide to grow up in.
