They are the Diamond Dogs!

Vampire Bats
Okay, so, they're a team of Transylvanian alien bat mutants. A vampire gimmick probably wouldn't fly on 90s kids' TV, so it's just implied through aesthetics and stuff. Each team member's based on a different bat species.
>Goldie: The leader. Brave and suchlike.
>Aztec: Lancer, foil to Goldie.
>Big-Ears: Does machines.
>Spectre: A stealthy ninja type.
>Sword-Nose: Hothead sword-wielding big guy.
>Figs: Jamaican-accented stereotype.
>Stripe-Face: Token girl.

Bees
Queen Apidae: Boss mother with an eyepatch over her left compound eye which was destroyed in a duel to the death with another queen. Standing over 8 feet tall and a lot more heavyset than the others, but she usually has a support role. Often shown with a lot of her larvae hanging out with her.

Sting: Edgy knife fighter that uses a variety of poisons to subdue foes. Has no problem with killing but holds others to a higher standard, like Wolverine. As a mutant, her sting is large and sturdy enough to pierce into human-sized targets without being ripped out when moving away.

Honey: Chubby, industrious one. Her abilities are being able to spit honey out of her mouth and pulling targets into her very warm body, overheating them. Eats a lot of food and is the one that usually expresses the group's goals to humans. Has a human pal that the audience projects on.

Bite: The fastest flier of them, and one who favors this speed in combat. Has mouthparts that can rip off flesh and uses all six limbs while fighting. Also impulsive so Honey and Sting need to tell her to not just fly off the handle and get wrecked in favor of strategy.

Axolotl

Dax, the leader: He possesses no special skills and constantly doubts himself but always gets his friends through with the power of teamwork.
Jax, the loner: He's the best fighter on the team but his emotional issues are always getting him into trouble, luckily his friends are always there to bail him out.
Hax, the tech expert: The smallest of the crew who makes up for his lack of fighting skill with his incredible intellect, if only he wasn't such a NERD!
Krax, the wildcard: An unpredictable nutjob whose nuttiness is as much troube for his team as it is for the bad guys.
Blax, the cool one: He's stylish, quick with a one-liner and playes the saxophone.
Stax, the girl: She's inexplicably more human-looking than her fellow mutant alien fish creatures and constantly feels the need to prove herself.

Squids
Float: A slow and fragile poisonous giant with a deadly touch. Kills off villains for good but is very vulnerable to damage. Obviously can't leave water. Kind of dumb.

Swim: Smaller and nimbler than Float, Swim only stuns his enemies. Short-lived. Every episode features a new Swim. Despite his nature he has a perky childlike and curious character but, like Float, isn't too smart.
Bears

Bears

In the far future, the world continents have shifted violently to create a giant land mass. Mankind has gone instinct and all that remains is the animal kingdom, however, even their numbers are dwindling and factions are from between species in order to survive.

In one of the abandon cities of the world, the forest life has taken over and a small community of hervbivores live. But they're under constant attack by other, deadlier animals. The hervbivores reluctantly seek the help of a group of bears to defend them and their home.

The team roster is filled with 7 bears based off the 7 deadly sins. They're anti-heroes who would love to tear each other to shreds, but the the urban forest is also their home and the herviboves struck up a good deal in exchange for protection.

>Lust - Sun Bear
The sexiest bear. He's desperate for a mate and isn't shy about boasting his lovely coat. The hervs informed him that another female bear roams the area.

>Envy - Asiatic Black Bear
Slaughtered his fellow brother after he stole the woman he lost. Outcasted by his peers, he traveled East in search for a new home. He keeps his past life secret from his new partners and the hervs in fear of losing their trust. He desires to be the leader of the group and butts heads with Pride all the time.

>Wrath - Brown Bear
Travel from the east along with Envy and Lust. He hails from Russia and traveled West in search for his comrades who went hunting for a rouge Brown Bear who betrayed them for some honey.

>Gluttony - Panda Bear
A great ancestor of the Pandas from the nearby Zoo. He prefers to do nothing but chew on bamboo, and the hervs have a massive supply. He agrees to join the team to feed his bottomless pit.

>Greed - American Black Bear
Lived in luxury for months in his birthplace until the supplies and food chain finally dwindled. He traveled east in search for a new utopia.

>Sloth - Sloth Bear
Cares little for the plight of of the hervs or his fellow team. As long as he has a steady supply of ants, he's content.

>Pride - Polar Bear
The leader of the group. Traveled from the far North after his clan was killed. He's in search for the rest of his bloodline who he believes was separated after the massive shift many years ago.

There is an 8th bear that's a rival to the team. The Spectacle Bear. It's the last of its kind and doesn't engage the bear team directly. Rather, it commands a massive army of Red Pandas, Raccoons and Koalas to foil the team and take the hervbivores and their supply by force. The Spectacle Bear isn't above uniting with other members of the animal kingdom like the Gorilla Gang or the fearsome Croc Family in order to thwart the bears.

Together this ragtag team of intelligent bloodsuckers fights overpopulation, pollution and the evil scientists who want to destroy their kind with a DNA weapon.

Walruses
Elite Tusk Force

Grey- the oldest and largest of the team, and therefore it's leader. Can be demanding and harsh on his men, but only because he cares about the work they do.

Blubber- almost as large and almost as old as Grey, they had a fierce rivalry in their youth. In the present, however Blubber has long since accepted his role as second in command and shares a close mutual close friendship with Grey. He is now goofball and incorrigible old joker, but is still just as strong as in his youth. The only member of the team who views Pipsqueak or Halftooth as equals.

Loudmouth- a brash, arrogant young walrus who believes he should be team leader, and often tries to challenge Grey's authority to the detriment of the teams. Though smaller than Grey and Blubber he's still quite large, and has the the biggest tusks of all. Sees Grey as past his prime, Blubber as a pathetic toady, and Halftooth as a weakling.

Ivory- a classy and refined walrus who often ties to desecalate and peacefully resolve the team's problems. Not particularly big, but she can still handle herself in a fight.

Halftooth: A lightweight by walrus standards with a broken tusk, he aids the team with his intelligence rather than his brawn. His teamates, especially loudmouth, oftwn look down on him for his size and his broken tusk. Competes with Loudmouth for Ivory's affection.

Pipsqueak: The smallest and youngest team member of all, her main contribution to the team is being the fastes swimmer. She feels the need to prove her worth to her teammates and tries to pick fights with much larger enemies.

Catfish
Bottom Feeder Boyz, four mutated catfish form an elite group of international mercenaries that work exclusively under the water, the members are:

Whiskers - The leader, a channel catfish who can shoot laser beams from his barbels. He's cocky, arrogant and smug as hell, but he still has a heart of gold and would willingly sacrifice himself for any member of the team.

Dexter - The negotiator, a walking catfish that can survive completely out of water for 24 hours. He works with the clients and used to be the vice president for Goldman Sachs before getting intoxicated at the Labor Day party and assaulting his secretary. He tries to pass himself off as intellectual, but his schtick falls flat very quickly. He also has a burning hatred of anime.

Lloyd - The brains, a flathead catfish. Unlike Dexter Lloyd actually has the brains, but has an extremely thick cajun accent so the rest of the team can barely understand him. He has the ability to phase through objects without leaving a scratch, but he can if he wants to. He is very fearful of arms and hands because of traumatic noodling experiences.

Ring Rong - The muscle, a mekong giant catfish. Unlike the other three members, Ring Rong still has the mind of a regular catfish and as such is dumb as shit. The mutation process left him with human legs and arms, much to Lloyd's dismay. Despite being an idiot, Ring Rong has the knowledge of advanced martial arts. He exclusively feeds on Mongolian children.

Blackbirds
B.L.A.K Birds (Bad, Lovely, Awesome, Kool)
Team was made by four blackbirds and added etceter members, the original four being the Bad Bomo, the Lovely Lowie, Awesome Aven, and Kool Corvus.

Bomo - A big gruff old guy, quiet, uses a lot of guns and generally leads the team in a default capacity, always keeps a cool head.

Lowie - Team girl, ex-super thief

Aven - The young hot head of the o4, has the power to hypnotize and slightly read minds

Old Crow - The team martial arts master, an ancient bird carved in a totem, speaks in rhymes and wisdoms

Jayjay - Young girl on the team, she can shoot brick construct stuff like Bunker in teen titans. She drives the BLAKwing jet and the rATVen vehicles.

Jackjaw - more of a feathered dog pretending to be a bird, he's a good guard and a family pet

Corvus - Try hard edgy, uses swords and controls shadows he can teleport through

Rookie and Lookie - Two team kids/mascots, theey just laugh at the world and get into mischief, run the team social media account from 'The Nest,' the secret base on top of the Empire State Building

The BLAK birds fight crime and secretly work for the government. Cosmic rays mutated them in central park, so, therat squads and lizardfolk that were also mutated are the bad guys. The ultimate foe is DEEP DARK, a mutant fish folk who wants to control cosmic rays to make more mutants and sell more toys

Pacific Octopus
Neptunian Surf Samurai

Aliens crash land in LA, and are discovered by a group of fun loving surfers who believe that Love is the only way to rule the world.

Being Peaceful, these humanoid "Octo-Bros" befriend the surfers, and use their alien technology to disguise their original appearances which are out of this world.

Danger strikes as a group of intergalactic treasure hunters arrives on Earth following the signal of the alien Princess' forehead gem. Priceless to many, worth a great deal of credits to others.

The aliens known as Tarkloti must now defend their new home using the power of ancient Earth warriors known as Samurai.

Stealing swords from a local museum the Tarkloti take on the prowess of the Samurai who used to wield these very swords.

Princess Zaixinx: (Leader)(Human name Zai Zinks, exchange student from Fiji.) Raised to take the throne from her father, but chased off of Neptune by her greedy brother Osog, Zai must now protect Earth from treasure hunters, instead of taking her place as the leader of her world.

Oraaxx: (Human name Orion Orax, exchange student from Greece.) Bodyguard to the Princess, raised with the singular purpose of protecting her at all costs, and now also to discover the greatest chocolate milkshake in the unknown Universe.

Waixa: (Human name Wave Xicsa, exchange student from an island off of New Zealand) A stow away on the ship that brought them here, not very bright, or gifted with tactical skills. Has a crush on the Princess, and is the comic relief "Carlooooos" of the group, making bad puns all the time.

Bimii: (Human name Bambi Mills, new student from Canada.) Bimii is the ships mechanic, she is a strong but jealous type, often getting upset when the boys pay attention to the Princess too much. She spends her time trying to fix the ship, and steal parts from the treasure hunters. She's a good warrior, and invents neat stuff.

Asous: Clone of Osog, rude, but warm hearted. Is the best surfer.

pooch: token cutie a very cute puppy does most of the research for which baddie they'll take on next he says 'BARK YIPPERS' everytime something goes wrong.
dollar dog: token rich character an extremely rich corgi who finds himself needing more action in his life so he decided to fight crime highly snooty and gets in fights with ragtoy a lot
creamcheese: token nerd girl the other girl who's not as hot as princess wants dollar's dick and probably writes shitty fanfics
crispin: pretty much better than everyone on the team but doesn't brag about it he's a pretty cool guy and is by far the best at catching frisbes his alter ego is the asshole bully at the park though
hot dog: asshole weiner dog who thought he could join the team bitched at the corgis until they gave him a spot shitty sidekick character that nobody likes but tries to relate to the kids

Extinct(non-dinosaur)Animals
X-Tinct (It's like instinct, but more EXTREME)

Dr. Peter Cuvier was on the brink of a breakthrough in his efforts to bring back extinct animals using DNA samples from rare, well-preserved soft-tissue samples, when suddenly his lab came under attack by a mercenary hired to steal his work! A tragic accident occured, turning him into a demented, tar-seeping skeletal sauric chimera bent on the extinction of the human race and transforming several others present. Can X-Tinct stop Dr. Cuvier, now the fiendish Petrosaurus, and his mutated minions? And what of the mysterious corporation that masterminded the attack?

York (Quagga): The team's leader. The daughter of Dr. Cuvier, York is confident, focused, and sometimes too stubborn for her own good. A martial artist, York relies on speed and leverage to get the upper hand on foes bigger than her. Being mutated into a quagga has only increased the strength of her kicks. Seeing her father in such a state hurts her, but sometimes she wonders if he's a lost cause.

Harris: The team's mouth. A mercenary before the accident happened. Part of the mercenary team that caused the accident, Harris never meant for this to happen; the lab was supposed to be empty. He had only viewed the lab as just another job. Now he fights alongside the others, trying to earn forgiviness from them, and from himself. With his DNA combined with a Tasmanian tiger, Harris is a savvy soldier. Snappy with a dry and sarcastic sense of humor.

Friedrich: The team's strongman. A chief of security before the accident, Friedrich is soft-hearted and slow to anger... With his DNA combined with a wooly mammoth, the already imposing Friedrich is the biggest and strongest of the team, capable of busting down walls with his bare hands. Do not confuse his gentle nature with an unwillingness to use force when the situation requires it. Friedrich blames himself more than he blames Harris, for allowing the incident to happen in the first place.

Strickland: The team's tech. A lab assistant before the accident, Strickland's DNA was infused with that of a dodo. He got the short end of the stick, growing both smaller and weaker. He compensates for it in a fight with a custom-fitted "X-O Suit", but he'd much rather not be in the thick of things. Constantly working on a cure for the team's "condition". Absentminded and a bit of a coward.

THE BAD GUYS
Petrosaurus: A hulk of scalding bitumen and bone in the rough shape of a man, Petrosaurus is larger than Friedrich and smarter than Strickland, but crazed. Where Dr. Cuvier envisioned a future where mankind was given a second chance to appreciate the animals it drove to death, Petrosaurus wishes to see mankind destroyed, and replaced with his own vision of a higher species.

Sheldon: A janitor before the accident. His DNA was combined with that of a Pinta Island tortoise. His desire for money caused him to take a bribe and guide the mercenary team into the lab. withdrawing into his shell makes Sheldon nigh-invincible, which is useful for when Petrosaurus is throwing a tantrum.

Smiley: A member of Harris' former mercenary team and a sadist. His erratic behavior complicated the job and ultimately resulted in the accident. His DNA was combined with a saber-tooth tiger, and now he views himself as the ultimate hunter, and X-Tinct as the most dangerous - and most prized - game.

Anglerfish
1 female Angler fish and 8 small males, who she uses as different kinds of ammunition.

Tigers

Chickens
Team name: The Chicks

Zodiac: She is confident and the team leader. She's the most outgoing and level headed of the team. Although she is able to bring people together to perform a task, she is almost always able to accomplish the tasks she sets out to do. She wears a red bandanna around her eyes with holes cut out, creating a mask. Her signature weapon is a katana. Yes the mix up of cultures is on purpose.

The Hen-dler: Serves as the uptight second command. She wears a purple bandanna around her neck. She specializes in long rang combat and has a spear to throw with from a distance. The spear mysterious returns to her in between from fights.

Oracle: Her character is in reference to the Romans' belief in chickens being used to give good or bad omens depending on their reactions to being fed. She wears a blue bandanna around her neck but wears hers like a scarf. She is the cool, calm, collected one that always has sagely advice to give. She has telekinetic abilities as well the power to see into the close future.

Pulverizer: The group muscle. She is slightly larger than all the others and has hilariously meaty looking wings that serve as arms. She has the shortest temper of all and will act on impulse at short notice. She wears barbecue sauce on her cheeks as war paint and a tight white tank top for no real reason. She wears a green bandanna tied around her forehead.

Drumstick: The wildcard factor. She comes and goes as she pleases and is unapologetic about it. Drumstick is more reclusive than the other members and will usually only appear during the height of battle, rushing in with her signature battle cry. When interacting casually with the other members, she is blunt and to the point, although not unreasonable. She wields two escrima sticks and wears a yellow bandanna over her mouth.


Gorillas

>GEURILLA GORILLA GUYS
Two gorilla brothers experimented on after being torn ftom their gorilla eden deep within the Amazon. From this, they gain superstrength (beyond what any normal gorilla would have) super intelligence, the ability to speak and a deep connection with all forms of wildlife. They go around fighting crime around the world with stolen and improvised tech from the lab they were imprisoned at- KONGO LABS, a gorillion dollar company bent on world domination.
>Gary
Seems to have a slightly deeper connection with nature and as such, hangs around with animals more. He tends to like to fight with melee weapons and his fists. Is good with reconnaissance and stealth and is usually stuck with dangerous tasks like testing Gabe's equipment. Has a general dislike for humans and sometimes freezes up around them.
>Gabe
The smarter of the two, is always buried in his work, much to Gary's annoyance. He sees the world in a more objective light than his brother, and has a knack for finding ways out of situations. Tends to fight with ranged weaponry more, and is usually stick with operating the duo's transportation, be it boat, plane, car or airship.

Waterbirds
A farm's worth of kingfishers were tested with a newly discovered radioactive isotope by a bio-terrorist organization. Only three of them survived, and were released to wreak havoc on lotic ecosystems in South America, Africa, and the Indo-Pacific. After a year, the birds underwent drastic and sudden mutations by diving into water all at the same time.
They gained miraculous space-time powers, human like anatomy and sentience, and were then converged to a pocket dimension. The amount of time they spent in that dimension is unknown even to them, but the birds were indoctrinated by the Eternal Fisher King on what they've done and how they can reverse it and prevent it from happening again.
