TTYD No Skips FAQ

Q: What is No Skips?
A: No Skips is a category that basically plays the game as intended for all meaningful sections. What defines a "skip" is either skipping relevant text, a cutscene, or obviously unintended gameplay to save significant time.

Q: What is allowed/banned in No Skips?
A: The following tricks are allowed:

Speedswapping (impossible to enforce and doesn't skip anything)
Speed Glitch (is not a skip)
Cutscene Walks (does not skip anything)
Bullet Bill/Bombshell Bill Skips (simply avoiding enemies)
Sanctum Pole Skip (can not legitimately enforce people to go right instead of left)
Tile Room Glitch (debatable if intended in programming and does not skip needing the key)
Yoshi Hover to skip a pole in Palace of Shadow spike room (skips nothing relevant and is very insignificant)

Q: Why not Glitchless?
A: It's really hard to determine what constitutes as a glitch and what is intended in the programming. No Skips is a clearer definition and also covers most glitches that save time. This is, for all intended purposes, a "Glitchless" category.

Q: Why are you running this?
A: For fun.

Q: Will it be added to leaderboards?
A: We may add it under the miscellaneous tab, as this has a fairly restrictive ruleset to be considered a main category.
