  1. Congratulations! You're wanting to join the Furry Fashion Lounge Team as one of our esteemed Hosts! We're thrilled to have you interested, but there are a few things you need to know about your position as one of FF's Hosts.

  8. General Host Requirements:

  10. WE WILL NOT HIRE ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 FOR CLUB STAFF

  12. Host should be focused on the crowd. This means do not be AFK or tabbed out.
  13.  
  14. Hosts are required to speak with their DJ to coordinate themes. The Host will them write up their themes for the week in a notecard and send them to Elsa Pawpad. If a theme is too narrow or unavailable, she will ask for an alternate theme to fill the spot. Themes MUST be in by no later than Sunday Night. Failure to turn in themes will result in a Strike!

  16. The Host's job is to interact with the crowd, this means participating in chats and such. Get to know your patrons, FF has several regulars and recognizing them can help earn you tips!

  22. In the event of an issue, either with another member of staff, a patron, or any other issue, refer to a member of the upper staff. DO NOT try to handle the stations on your own. This is why we have senior staff.

  25. Attendance:

  27. Hosts should be online at least 30 minutes prior to your shift. You should arrive in the club 15 minutes before your set begins. If you are not going to be able to make your shift and you are able to get online prior to your shift, please notify the senior staff to let us know so we can find a cover for you. Failure to show up for your set without notification can result in a strike. 3 strikes and you're out!

  29. If you need a cover, you should notify the Head Host and Deputy Head Host. If neither are online, leave them messages in their inbox and then message any of the other staff listed above. Make note of which type of cover you will be needing:
  30. Possible Cover: This means you may or may not be able to make your set. A cover host will be assigned to you, but if you are able to return in time, you can reclaim your shift.
  31. Definite Cover: This means that there is almost a 100% chance you will NOT be there for your set. A cover host will be assigned for the set, and you cannot reclaim that set for the night, even if you do get home in time.

  34. Contest Rules and Timing:

  36. As an FF Host, your job is to make an event as fun and entertaining as you can! This means being focused on the crowd, hyping chat, and playing off your DJ.

  38. GET TO KNOW YOUR DJ. More than likely, you'll have a set DJ for your weekly event. This means that you should talk to them, coordinate your themes with them so they can prepare a matching set list, and learn to play off them to make an event fun.

  40. All Hosts should be in the lounge at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. This allows you time to send out the starting Notice for the event, which explains what the current theme is, who your DJ is, and how high the prize is. Info on how to work the event board and time clock can be explained by the Head Host (Nirix).

Ten Minutes until the midway point (3pm SLT for 2pm events and 9pm for 8pm events) the Host is due for sending out a halftime notice, which is to remind the group that the event is still going on, update on any prize raises, or changes in staff for the event that might have occurred such as if a DJ has lost connection and a replacement has been found.

  44. Between 15 and 30 minutes after Halftime the Board opens for Voting. At this point the Host will announce that Voting has opened, and is required to keep an eye on contest participants to make sure those on the board are in theme. While this is at the Host's discretion, a biased decision or a personal matter affecting judgment WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Anyone not in theme should be IM'd quietly and discretely to ask them to match the theme if they wish to be in the contest. If they fail to comply, the Host should remove them from the contest board.

  46. Ten Minutes until the end of the Event the Host announces winners. This is done via the Contest Board. At this point the Host should congratulate the winners, announce the theme for the next up coming event, and remind patrons that the DJ will continue to play until the end of the shift. (4pm and 10pm respectively).

  48. A reminder that FF Staff are not allowed to enter a contest while they are on shift. If you attend another event at FF where you are not working, you are allowed to enter the contest.

  51. Wages and Tips:
  52.  
  53. For each set, a Host is paid 250L base pay by FF (125L a hour) . In order to receive this you need to log into the time clock located on the side of the Staff stage. The Management is not responsible for keeping track of your hours. If you don't log in, you don't get paid. End of story.

  55. DO NOT BEG FOR TIPS. Part of your DJ's job is to direct tips your way, in return, you give the friendly suggestion that patrons of the club should tip the DJ. Begging for tips is frowned upon, and you are not allowed to do it. Violating this rule will result in a strike.

  58. The Strike System:

  60. 1st Strike results in a warning.
  61. 2nd Strike results in a pay cut.
  62. 3rd Strike results in termination.
  63.  
  64. The Senior Staff of Furry Fashion retains the right to amend these rules at any time.
