The Martyrdumb of EvilSeph

Especially enjoyable given "EvilSeph" and his reputation as an arrogant rectal ouroboros. Mojang bought Bukkit intending the team to make an officially supported plugin API superior to their server mod. Suspect ES didn't much like not being an autocratic development dictator, the brightest star in his own cosmos, and doing grunt work at the behest of others, because he bailed the fuck out. No surprise, given that the public repo for the Workbench API had basically nothing since its initial commits.

Eventually ES decides he wants to take a swing at Mojang by attempting to terminate the massively popular Bukkit project, imagining he has some kind of leverage. Like a child who tries to break a toy rather than let another play with it, and turns out just as effective, evident in the supreme spanking Jens issued to ES's ass and shattered ego.

And the best part, ES is utterly destroyed. Savour the moment, revel in the vain self-martyrdumb; he managed the most wildly successful mod project in Minecraft's history and got hired on at Mojang, only to leave them and attempt to burn it all down, instead only reducing to ash his own relevance and credibility.
