Background:
"Run." That was the last word he ever heard from his wife, and he's been running ever since. A former inhabitant of one of the settlers of Euro, Jack was smart enough to tell that the monsters that plagued Eu would eventually spread outside the city, and he and his wife, Marissa, started moving towards a portal to one of the other Domes. They apparently moved too slow, however. When only twelve miles away from the portal to Montia, they were attacked by monsters. Both fought until all of them were destroyed, but Marisa was impaled by the jaw of the last monster. She said her last word in agony, and Jack fled, quickly reaching the portal and beginning to wander around in search of a way to destroy the monsters and take back his wife from the claws of death.
