  1. >The story begins on a very dark night.
  2. >A man and a woman met within the shadows.
  3. >"Okay, Naomi told me to meet you here, but I came just so you were not alone at this hour. I'm not telling you anything about Nolan." The blue guy stated while frowning at the girl.
  4. >"Don't worry," Amy replied, "that was just to distract Naomi, I'm here to talk about her, actually."
  5. >"What about her?" Tim asked.
  6. >"Don't you think she has a bit of a problem?" Sayd Amy
  7. >"Uhhh..."
  8. >"I'm talking about her competitive tendencies."
  9. >"..." Tim stood silent for a bit, until he broke, almost into tears, "I can't take it anymore, she's making a competition out of everything lately, I can't even eat in peace at home. It's always 'I can eat faster than you!' 'I'll wake up earlier than you' 'I'll stay awake longer than you!' To be honest, she's the reason I spend more time with the Saints than at home."
  10. >Amy just looked at Tim in disbelief, she had never seen him show a weak side. This only cemented her conviction, Naomi needed an intervention.
  11. >"Look," Amy said, "I think I found a way to make her calm down, but I'll need your help."
  12. >"I'll do anything, just tell me what to do!" Tim said as he grabbed Amy's shoulders.
  13. >"Look, there's a girl who is the key to stop Naomi from seeking competition, but I've never talked to her, so I can't just go and ask her a favor."
  14. >"I don't think I could either, I never talk ot girls at school, other than Vynil."
  15. >"Yes, you can't either, but..."
  16.
  17.
  18. >"Yes?"
  19. >"One of Nolan's friends knows her. But I don't really talk ti this guy either, so, I wonder if you could ask Nolan to talk to this guy for me."
  20. >"You mean the racist?" Tim rose an eyebrow.
  21. >"Yes!" Amy replied.
  22. >"I'm not doing it."
  23. >"Why not?"
  24. >"Look I like that guy less than I like you; so I'm not making Nolan talk to him. Instead, we'll both go to him tomorrow, you'll do the talking, and I'll do the convincing."
  25. >"I guess that'll work." Amy replied in an unsure tone. "See you tomorrow, then!"
  26. >As Amy walked away, Tim's voice stops her.
  27. >"Wait a second, I may not like you, but I'd never forgive myself if I let you walk on your own at these hours."
  28. >"I'd never have suspected that you've got a gentleman deep inside."
  29. >"Ha ha ha." Tim pretended to laugh in a monotonous tone.
  30. >On her way home, and during the night, Amy could only think aabout one thing. Tomorrow was going to be the day in which her friend's life was going to change.
  31.
  32.
  33. Next day.
  34.
  35. >"You have no escape, you racist!" Tim said after driving Norman into a corner.
  36. >"Fuck!" Norman had lost all the will to think his words. "I really didn't want to get into fights, but I'll let you know that I'm not afraid of you. Bring it on, you blue motherfucker!"
  37. >For a moment, Tim couldn't believe what he was seeing, in front of him, Norman stood with a raised guard, not instimidated by either his presence or his size. This brought a smile to the blue guy's face. He didn't want to admit it, but this time he felt a bit of respect towards the boy in the beanie.
  38. >"Well, it'd be wrong to keep a lady waiting," Tim raised his guard, "prepare your anus!"
  39. >"STOP IT!" Amy's voice broke the conflict before any of the parties could land a hit on the other. "Dang it Tim, we're here to ask him a favor, not to fight him!"
  40. "Fuck! This was my chance! did you really need to ruin it?!" TIm complained.
  41. >"Remember, we're here for Naomi." Amy whispered.
  42. >"Okay, I'll let him go, this time." Tim then looked at Norman and said. "Just so it's clear, when I said lady, I meant you, and not this girl."
  43. >"Yeah, I got that... Faggot!"
  44. >"Would you two please stop it?!" Amy interjected.
  45. >"Okay," Norman replied while looking at both interlocutors, "what do you need from me?"
  46. >"Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Amy Heartstruck." There was an air of tension in Amy's voice, she knew that if Norman was one of Nolan's friends, he wouldn't be a bad person; However, she was unable to ignore the rumors surrounding him.
  47. >"Yeah, I know your name, Nolan talks a lot about you."
  48. >"REALY?! What does he say about me?!" Amy's tension dissipated.
  49. >"Well, I shouldn't be saying this but, he-"
  50. >"Let's go back to the matter at hand!" Tim interrupted.
  51. >"Oh, right." Amy was startled, but quickly regained her composure. "Look, we need to talk to your pink haired friend, the one with the animals."
  52. >Norman gave a quick look towards Tim. "I'm not letting him be any close to Yellow."
  53.
  54.
  55. >"What?" Amy and Tim asked at the same time.
  56. >"I'm sure you're bad news to Yellow, I won't allow you near her." Norman had a very decisive look in his eyes.
  57. >"What makes you think I'm into that girl?! I don't even know her!" Tim complained while Amy showed an impish smile.
  58. >"Well, you're doing the typical plot of introducing me to a pretty girl so I act as your wingman. I'll let you know I'm never letting a thug like you take advantage of Yellow, and that I'd never go out with the girl you brought, bros before hoes."
  59. >"Did you just call me a wh-" the reactions of the pair inverted, as Tim was now the one wearing a smile.
  60. >"I didn't mean it like that!" Norman lost his composure for the first it time since they began talking. "That's just how the saying goes, I'm sorry!"
  61. >-Does this guy ever think about what he's going to say before speaking?- Amy thought to herself, before saying. "Okay, I'll forgive you, if you listen to what we're going to ask you."
  62. >"Kay, I'll listen to you." Norman replied resignatedly.
  63. >"First," Amy spoke, "Tim is not into your friend Yellow. Is Yellow seriously her name?"
  64. >"Ah?," Norman said, "No, no, no. Her name is something like Superfly, or Shatter-flu, I call her Yelllow because it's easier to remember."
  65. >"Okay..." Amy said in a deadpan way. "Anyway, I have a friend, his sister, who turns everything she does into a competition. We love her and all that, but being with her is really tiring with her constant challenges."
  66. >"Have you tried saying no to her?" Norman asked.
  67. >"And have her think she's better than me? Of course not!" Norman's question annoyed Amy a bit. "It's not that easy!"
  68. >"I'm just saying that it could-"
  69. >"No!" Amy stopped Norman dead on his tracks. "Look, I want my friend to compete with yours on being non-competitive. Hopefully, that'l make her stop for a while."
  70. >"I don't think Yellow will want to compete."
  71. >"Just convince her to participate, and I'll make it look like a competition." Amy stated confidently.
  72.
  73.
  74. >After no longer than half an hour, and some animal related shenanigans not worth mentioning, a heavily scratched Tim, an incredibly dirty Amy, and Norman, arrive to where Fluttershy is, in the animal shelter.
  75. >"I told you to not mind the animals." Norman nagged.
  76. >"I bet you told them to attack us!" Tim complained.
  77. >"You're the one who tried to kick that cat!" Said Norman.
  78. >"The little fucker didn't know its place!"
  79. >"It sure taught you yours." Norman smirked.
  80. >"Why you?!"
  81. >Tim raised his arm as to hit Norman with it. The boy with the beanie raised his guard, ready to fight with the blue giant.
  82. >"Can we get over with this already?" Amy whined. "I just want to go home and take a shower."
  83. >Both guys immediately calmed down, after seeing how tired Amy looked.
  84. >"Look Blueto, all I say is that I've had it worse with these animals, so stop complaining for something that was completely yout fault; also, Yellow mustn't know about what you did. Else, she won't help you. Understood?"
  85. >"Okay." Replied Tim. He was clearly annoyed, but his sister was more important to him than his mood.
  86. >And there she was, a true vision of beauty, the guardian angel of the animal shelter, unaware stealer of hearts. Her yellow skin shone like the sun on a warm spring day, while cascades of beautiful pink hair fell down her shoulders. Her eyes irradiated peace and quiet to all those lucky ones to get lost in them. An unparalleled vision of beauty which the guy in the beanie simply called Yellow, because he has shit taste; I mean, seriously, why would you pick any other girl if you have her in your life; she's so pretty, cute, and nice. What else could you ask for?
  87. Narrator, get back to work.
  88. >"Hello, Yellow." Norman greeted.
  89. >"Hi Norman," the pretty girl responded, "what brings you here?"
  90. >"Well, you see." He said, "some friends of a friend want to ask you a favor."
  91. >As soon as she noticed Tim and Amy, the girl hid behind Norman.
  92. >"Wh-wh-who are they?" She asked.
