  3. PADR = PAD Radar, a supplemental app in the Japan version that allows you to get goodies by traveling to physical locations
  4. PADW = Puzzle & Dragons W, a Tamadra dress-up game bundled with the Japanese version of PAD that allows you to get a few free stones.
  5. PADX/PAD Cross = Puzzle & Dragons X (pronounced “Cross”), a Nintendo 3DS game in Japan. Can also refer to the descend and dungeons in PAD that feature cards from those games. Acronym can also be interchanged with PDX.
  6. PDX = Puzzledragonx, a website that serves as a reference for PAD.
  7. PADZ = Puzzle & Dragons Z, a Nintendo 3DS game released in both Japan and NA.

  9. Abbreviations for Mechanics

  11. #/#/# = Refers to a leader’s HP/ATK/RCV multiplier, assuming full activation of the leader skill.
  12. 5match = Refers to a set of leader skills that have “When connecting exactly 5 orbs with at least 1 enhanced orb” in their descriptions.
  13. 7c = 7 Combo Awakening
  14. Burst = An active that increases your damage, or to deal a lot of damage in one turn
  15. Finger = Time Extend Awakening
  16. Cascade = Refers to a combo that exists completely on the board that is initially not matched, but after other orbs are erased, is matched in a “chain reaction”.
  17. DC = Disconnect, referring to entering a dungeon coop but intentionally minimizing the app to break connection, in order to receive the stamina discount but not be slowed down by a partner
  18. Enhance = See burst, also may refer to Orb Enhance
  19. Gacha = See REM
  20. GF = Godfest
  21. Hypermax = Refers to a card that has been fully leveled, awakening, plussed, and skilled. Other variations of the word (i.e. Pentamax) may refer to a card that is Hypermaxed with an inherited skill, fully equipped with Latent Awakenings, and more.
  22. Inheritance = The skill assist mechanic
  23. MP = Monster Points, can also refer to a card you can purchase with monster points
  24. MEM = Memorial Egg Machine
  25. Murakore = Director’s Choice Carnival, often featuring rare cards not featured normally in godfests
  26. Pack = 85 Magic Stones, the most you can buy at 1 time from the Magic Stone Shop
  27. PEM = Pal Egg Machine
  28. OE = Orb Enhance Awakening
  29. RE = Enhanced (Fire/Water/Wood/Light/Dark) Awakening
  30. REM = Rare Egg Machine or any Egg Machine requiring Magic Stones to roll

  32. SB = Skill Boost awakening
  33. SBR = Skill Bind Resist Awakening
  34. SDR = Skill Delay Resist. Can also refer to Special Descended Rush
  35. Skyfall = Refers to extra combos that may occur after the end of a combo, when new orbs fall down and replace the orbs that were combined away.
  36. SI = The skill assist mechanic
  37. Sparkle = See 5match. Also refers to stacking off-color orb enhance awakenings for increased damage with orb converting active skills.
  38. Spike = See Burst
  39. Stick = A card with a lot of a particular awakening or stat, and whose purpose on a team is to provide it
  40. TE = Time Extend Awakening
  41. TPA = 2 Pronged Attack awakening

  48. A1, A2, A3 = Ultimate Arena - Bipolar Goddess 1, 2, and 3
  49. Alts = Technical Dungeons that begin with Alt.
  50. Biweekly = Refers to a series of dungeons that are available for 2 weeks at a time, often featuring some themed Dragon that skills up a REM card. Eventually returns and/or gets put in coin dungeons after its debut.
  51. C[#] = Challenge Dungeons Level (Number)
  52. Colo = Super-Ultimate Colosseum
  53. EC/TEC/UEC/EEC = Versions of Endless Corridors
  54. Evo = Evo Rush or Rare Evo Rush
  55. EKMD = Extreme King Metal Dragon
  56. Fatty Tama = Extreme King Metal Tamadra
  57. LE = Legendary Earth
  58. OSC = One-Shot Challenge
  59. SDR = Special Descended Rush. Can also refer to Skill Delay Resist
  60. SKC = Super King Carnival
  61. SUDR = Super-Ultimate Dragon Rush
  62. STTD = Star Treasure Thieves Den
  63. Trifruits = Thursday Dungeon Mythical Difficulty
  64. Twinlits = Friday Dungeon Mythical Difficulty
  65. UDR = Ultimate Descended Rush or Ultimate Dragon Rush
  66. [#] = A suffix appended to the name of a dungeon referring to the difficulty of the dungeon, usually stating the stamina cost of the dungeon in coop mode (half of single player). i.e., Evo 18 means the lower difficulty of Evo Rush.

  70. {R, B, G, L, D}/{R, B, G, L, D} A prefix appended to a name of a card to clarify which evolution or form, referring to its attribute and subattribute: Red (Fire), Blue (Water), Green (Wood), Light, or Dark
  71. {A} = A prefix appended to the name of a card to clarify the awoken evolution
  72. {Revo/Re/R} = A prefix appended to the name of a card to clarify the reincarnated evolution
  73. {M} = A prefix appended to the name of a card to clarify its machine form
  74. 3K/3K2 = 3 Kingdoms and 3 Kingdoms 2 pantheons
  75. ALB = Awoken Liu Bei
  76. ACC = Awoken Cao Cao
  77. Burd = Green Whirlwind, Adekazakiri
  78. Chad = La Muerte, Yasutora Sado. Nicknamed Chad because of his nickname in the Bleach anime/manga
  79. Chinese = 5 Elements Pantheon (Leilan, Karin, Meimei, Sakuya, Haku)
  80. Dath = Guardian of the Imperial Capital, Athena
  81. DQ = Divine Queen Hera
  82. Exodia = Orpharion, named because of similarities in collecting the limbs and head of the popular Yugioh card.
  83. Gem/Gemstone = Silk, Carat, Cameo, Facet, and Sheen
  84. GFE = Godfest Exclusive card, a card that can typically only be obtained by rolling Godfest events in the Rare Egg Machine
  85. Hino = Hinomitsuha OR Hinokagutsuchi
  86. Iza = Izanagi OR Izanami
  87. OTG = One True God, referring to Anubis for his high skill but high damage multiplier play style.
  88. Rag = Green Hell Demon, Raguel OR Ragnarok (Ragdra = Ragnarok Dragon)
  89. Sonia/[]Onia = Refers to Any of the Dragon Callers that have “Sonia” in their name
  90. Squid = You Yu, nicknamed Squid because it is a homonym for the word squid in Chinese
  91. Thicc = Trailokyavijaya, named due to her thighs and hard-to-pronounce official name.
  92. UEvo = Ultimate Evolution
  93. Ult = See UEvo
  94. Whale/Whaledor = Distant Sea Dragon, Verdor
  95. XM = Xiang Mei, can also refer to Xiu Min
  96. Yama = Head Captain of 13 Court Guard Squads, Genryusai OR Yamato Takeru and his evolutions
  97. Z8 = Zaerog Infinity
  98. [Dra/Dora] = A suffix referring to the Dragon form of a card, i.e. Shivadra
