  1. The World Elsa Only Knows (tentative title)
  2.
  3. It’s obvious how much Anna loves her fiancée, although said fiancée is an insufferable otaku who claims to be exclusively into 2D girls. Elsanna. Not incest. (tentative summary)
  4.
  5. A/n: I've fixed it slightly, so the date is yesterday (a whole full day's date!). I'll edit later that the date is in Paris... although I'll probably write how the date went wrong on the next chapter? On chapter 1 The two already flew back to their respective countries (Germany for Elsa and Norway for Anna).
  6.
  7. --
  8.
  9. “So how is your dinner date, Elsa?” Karl asked, he’s beaming in excitement. He knew the eighteen years old is exclusively interested to girls as her daughter has eloquently told him one day, and it’s a rare occurrence, so he is interested to know how a date between two women went.
  10. “Passable.” Elsa answered shortly, not looking up from her JRPG game.
  11. “Do you like her?” He asked, hoping that his daughter will elaborate further. He is curious, and Elsa seemed to be in a good mood.
  12. “She’s a nice person, father.” She added, saving her game before flipping it closed. “We have a nice chat. She’s much better than anyone whom you have ever set me up with.”
  13. “I see...” Karl trailed off, a smile on his face, happy that Elsa’s date went well.
  14. “I like her. I don’t mind further dates.” Elsa told him, knowing it is the reply he has been waiting for.
  15. It’s true that Anna is a nice girl, and she’s pretty good for real girls, considering her previous dates always went awry and none of the previous dates could stand to be with her, but Anna made it until the dinner is finished.
  16. ‘She must be in 10/10 scale for a real life girls...’ Elsa mused, and has decided that Anna is better than all other girls she has ever dated.
  17. Although the younger girl is so chatty and is quite the curious cat, Elsa found the trait to be endearing. The girl also got plus points for being quite knowledgeable in some games, and it helps that she’s also pretty cute and adorable for real girls’ standard, with twin braids and freckles. Elsa wondered if Anna would like her hair to be styled into twin tails.
  18. ‘Hmm...’ The platinum blonde crossed her arms, imagining her date on twin tails.
  19. “So, would you like to have more dates with Anna Arendelle?” Karl wondered, Elsa has been pretty vague whether she wanted more dates or not, so he wanted more confirmation from his daughter.
  20. “Sure, father.” Elsa looked up to meet her father’s emerald eyes. Karl is her step-father, but he cares about her as much as he cares about his own daughter. “In fact, I don’t mind marrying her.” Elsa added, as this whole dating thing is consuming her game time.
  21. Karl blinked. Who has decided that they would marry someone based on their first dates, anyway?
  22. “Are you sure?”
  23. “Very.” Elsa nodded, she’s pretty sure Anna wouldn’t mind either. It’s just marriage. It’s no big deal.
  24. She has much more important thing she wanted to deal with first, such as the corporation she inherited from her father, The Snowden Company which is a large scale MNC. And then there’s also serious business that is the stack of dating sims on her backlog and the fact that there is a lot of 2D girls that she has not yet conquered...
  25. While her mother has used her step-father’s family name, Elsa has opted to remain as Elsa Snowden, and none of her parents objected.
  26. Karl grinned. “Very well, I will discuss things with her parents, and if things went well, you two will be engaged soon!” The man stated in excitement, before ruffling Elsa’s hair affectionately and left.
  27. “Finally I don’t have to go to more dates, thankfully.” Elsa let out a long suffering sigh, these dinner dates has been declining her much needed comfortable gaming time.
  28. “Big sister!!!” Elsa narrowed her eyes to see her (step) little sister is running excitedly toward her.
  29. “El.” Elsa acknowledged her, grimaced as her sister gave her a quick hug.
  30. Elsa isn’t a fan of physical touch, she didn’t like anyone touching her. It made her feel uneasy. Maybe it’s one of the reason why she prefers 2D.
  31. Elenne L. Schneider, eleven years old, emerald eyes and low curls light brown hair.
  32. Elsa has always wondered how long Elenne needed to style her curls, but she has decided that it wasn’t important.
  33. “How is your date?” The eleven year old asked in excitement, giving her big sister round puppy eyes for her to spill the beans.
  34. “Decent.” Elsa stated, turning on her PSP. “I like Anna.” She added in monotonous tune.
  35. Elenne squealed happily, she remembered all too well that her sister has been telling her that her previous dates aren’t going too well, so this change is much welcomed.
  36. Elsa frowned, her eyes twitched. “I thought you are the Ojou type?” She silently reminded her little sister, and thankfully, she got her message.
  37. “I’m sorry.” Elenne muttered, before composing herself.
  38. It’s unbecoming for a lady to be so loud.
  39. “So, are you two going to be engaged?”
  40. “Father said he’ll talk about it with Anna’s father.” Elsa replied, fiddling through the controls to choose which game she would play. She settled on a beat down game with all girls cast, Valkyrie Princess.
  41. Elenne beamed. “I see. I can’t wait to meet my sister in law, then!” The Schneider corporation heir giggled as she saw Elsa turned at her slowly after pausing her game.
  42. “I doubt I will be marrying her anytime soon.” Elsa turned her attention back to her game, un-pause it. “We will be engaged, which is good since I don’t have to go into anymore of those stupid dates.” The young girl retorted, furiously hitting the joypad with sophisticated grace that Elenne know no gamer is capable of.
  43. Elenne blinked as she found her sister’s statements to be odd.
  44. ‘No more dates? But...’
  45. “Sister, if you were to be engaged, you will be spending more dates with Anna, you know...” Elenne said slowly, letting her words sink in.
  46. -You win- flashed on the PSP’s screen, and Elsa slowly turned to the brunette, wide eyed and mouth agape.
  47. “You can’t be serious.”
  48. “Affirmative.” Elenne replied in military tone, and saluting her sister.
  49. Elsa blinked at Elenne’s reply. She found it odd that even though Elenne is very lady like; the girl enjoys first person shooter game so much.
  50. Elsa wondered whether her sister realized or not that FPS wasn’t exactly a princess-y game.
  51. Anyway...
  52. “So I have to go into more play dates with Anna?” Elsa drawled in distaste, going into dates is such a painful chore for her.
  53. “But look on the bright side! At least you can stand her, right? You like her, right?” Elenne asked, and Elsa nodded. She does like her.
  54. “I like her; we sort of have fun chatting about games.” Elsa said, and Elenne wondered how exactly her sister’s date went.
  55. The brunette grimaced at the thought of Elsa deeply immersed on her games and only strike conversation with her future wife when she talks about games.
  56. It doesn’t sound like a nice date.
  57. In fact, she wondered how her sister referred that as a nice date.
  58. “Do you think she enjoys the date?” Elenne asked, she felt bad for Anna because her sister is such an idiot when it comes into girls.
  59. Well, real girls that is.
  60. “I think she is. She’s the one who asked me out, you know.” Elsa mumbled, fiddling with the PSP’s keypad again. She now is playing MMORPG. “It’s foolish to set up a date when you aren’t enjoying it.”
  61. Elenne groaned inwardly. She wished her sister would become less apathetic and more sympathetic, but it looked like it’s not happening any time soon.
  62. At least her sister isn’t a hikkikomori, the brunette thought, since Elsa does enjoy doing some outside activities, such as picnics and the like. Although Elsa always focused on her games on hand more than picnics.
  63. “It could have been worse.” Elsa concluded, smiling. “I think it’s safe to say that we both enjoyed the date.”
  64. Anna looked like she is cool with her playing games on date, too.
  65. As Elenne stared at her in disbelief, Elsa walked back to her room, slamming the door behind. The platinum blonde stared at the new unopened gal games on its boxes, and began excitedly rummaging through it, wondering what she should play later during breakfast.
  66.
  67. -
  68.
  69. “So you were saying, the date went well?” Agdar asked, smiling as he talked on the phone that was set on speaker
  70. “Yes, my little Elsa isn’t exactly very descriptive when she talked about her date, but I guess it went well.” Karl said proudly, happy that he could fill in for Agdar about how his daughter’s date went.
  71. Agdar and Idunn sighed in relief. “Thank you for filling us in, Mr. Schneider. Anna immediatelly went upstairs to her room and just brushed us off.” Idunn said honestly, she felt relieved that the date went well.
  72. She knew how much Anna likes Elsa, and she didn’t want her baby suffered through heartache.
  73. “Don’t worry about them.” Karl smiled, he knew full well that part of parent’s job responsibility is to worry over their daughter.
  74. “Why, she even told me that she would love to marry her!” Karl beamed and he tried to not giggle at Arendelles’ collective gasp.
  75. “Really?” Disbelief could be heard from the question, and Karl nodded. Her wife shot him a look and he rolled her eyes.
  76. “Yes she is.”
  77. Hilde grabbed the phone from her husband’s hand and put it on hold.
  78. “She didn’t say that.” Hilde frowned, he didn’t like his husband’s over exaggeration.
  79. “She said she doesn’t mind marrying her. Same deal.” Karl argued, crossing his arms.
  80. Hilde stared in disbelief since her husband looked like a petulant child.
  81. “Let me handle this.” Hilde demanded, eyes narrowing. Karl sulkily handing his wife the phone.
  82. Hilde took a deep breath before un-holding the call.
  83. “Terribly sorry, but where were we, again?” Hilde asked, her tone all business likey.
  84. “Well, since both party seemed to enjoy each other’s company, why don’t we set them up in arranged marriage?” Agdar asked, his tone serious. He wasn’t beating the bush, and he knew Elsa is the most perfect candidate for Anna, and he know she could support her very well.
  85. Hilde frowned. She knew full well her daughter has issues with human touch, and if she enjoyed Anna’s company, who is she to deny that.
  86. “Very well then.” Hilde mumbled, hoping she had made the right decision.
  87. “Told you so, Hilde!” Karl stated, before he giggled, and Hilde rolled her eyes on her husband’s child like attitude.
  88. The adults then continue their conversation about the engagement between their children.
  89.
  90. -
  91.
  92. Anna Arendelle belly flopped to her queen sized bed.
  93. Earlier she brushed off past her parents who have been excitedly asking her how her date went.
  94. Yes, parents.
  95. Even her father, the usual stoic Agdar Arendelle seemed excited.
  96. Anna grimaced at the thought, she didn’t know which is worse, her over excited parents or her date yesterday with the elusive Elsa Snowden.
  97. Needless to say, the date went horrible for her.
  98. The fifteen years old knew full well when she’s being unwanted.
  99. For a whole freaking day Elsa didn’t even strike a conversation with her, unless she started it first. Breakfast is great, they met up at a small but cozy cafe, and Anna has managed to break the awkwarness of the silence, by trying to talk to Elsa, eventhough the reply is usually a clipped affirmative or normative.
  100. Anna groaned as she massaged her aching temple. She should have known that Elsa isn’t even interested and going into a date with her seemed like a chore to the blonde.
  101. During shopping time, Elsa doesn’t seem remotely interested with the fact that Anna is gushing excitedly about clothes and acessories, and is only mildly interested when they’re going to a gamestore. Not to mention the dinner... while the food is great, the music is perfect for romantic atmosphere, she just want to have a nice romantic date, but her date is too busy to finish the game to even care about her unless she’s questioning her about games.
  102. “Fuck.”
  103. Anna sobbed at the thought that the older girl didn’t want her. Elsa doesn’t even take a good look at her, or not even noticing her appearances and the fact that she put on extra effort on her makeup and dress up pretty well.
  104. The younger girl gritted her teeth, she felt like she’s a huge fool.
  105. Elsa doesn’t even like her. Why does she have to go into such effort to make an impression toward her?
  106. Because she loves her.
  107. Maybe she was wrong about the older girl. Anna has been having the biggest crush on Elsa since the first time she saw her on a corporate party ten years ago. Back then, Elsa found her who was lost, and brought her back to her parents, who thanked her furiously. Elsa just shrugged and left. Anna knew very well that the platinum blond is her first love, but is she Elsa’s first love?
  108. So many questions....
  109. Anna jumped off bed, knowing that thinking about such thing will drive her moody. She’d rather think of something else. The younger girl then decided to have a quick chat on WU with her favourite aunts who are now living in Storybrooke.
  110.
  111. -
  112.
  113. EvilQueen: Good evening, Anna. How is our favourite niece doing?
  114. Anna rolled her eyes; her aunt is so formal, even on the chat. And what’s with that name? She really couldn’t get Regina Mills-Swan.
  115. PrincessAnna: Evening, auntie. Decent night, and you?
  116. Anna stared at her own text, before she giggled that she uses proper language, too.
  117. SwanPrincess: We’re gud, Henry’s asleep already, like a baby. How’s ur date?
  118. Anna paused, wondering how she should reply to Aunt Emma’s question. She then decided she should just tell them the truth.
  119. PrincessAnna: Elsa... Is being difficult.
  120. Anna paused typing, wondering whether she should elaborate more, before hitting send.
  121. EvilQueen: Don’t worry, its first date, she’s probably nervous.
  122. SwanPrincess: What Regina says. Anyway, you go get ‘er girl! \(^_^)/
  123. Anna smiled at her aunts’ encouragement. She knew she’s still young but she really likes Elsa and can’t stop thinking about her. This makes her feels better than her failure date with Elsa yesterday.
  124. There’s a knock on her door. “Come in!”
  125. It’s Sebastian, reminding her that it’s bed time soon. The butler also prepared her tea.
  126. PrincessAnna: Thank you... I gtg 2 bed, Sebaschan already prepared my usual tea. Nighty, Auntie!
  127. She logged off.
  128. Anna changed into the cheetah animal pjs Sebastian has prepared earlier, and she sighed as she flopped to the comfy bed.
  129. She looked up to the ceiling, and viewing the holographic constellation of the night sky.
  130. She smiled, viewing the night sky always calm her, no matter how shitty her days are.
  131. “Night Anna.” Anna mumbled to herself as she closed her eyes and let the sleep overtake her, blissfully unaware of her engagement with Elsa.
  132.
