  1. March 9 (first treaty draft)
  2. [8:44pm] Tenaway: Cool
  3. [8:45pm] Tenaway: Also, like I said, PM’ed you a treaty draft
  4. [8:45pm] Tenaway: One article in it I wrote but wasn’t sure of was Article 4
  5. [8:46pm] Mortimer: I'm looking it over now
  6. [8:46pm] Tenaway: It was intended to not cause either of us to be caught between treaties if for whatever reason (and I hope it never happens) we were fighting UPN or you were fighting Guardian
  7. [8:46pm] Tenaway: But I worry it came off as we were looking for a way out, which wasn’t my intention at all
  8. [8:47pm] Tenaway: It’s just something I’ve seen a lot in other games, having to pick between 2 treaties, and I didn’t want you guys to end up stuck in that posiition ever
  9. [8:48pm] Mortimer: Well, I'm sure there is a way to come up with wording that accomadates that idea
  10. [8:49pm] Tenaway: Like I said it was just a quick first draft. Add, edit or delete to your hearts content
  11. [8:49pm] Tenaway: Man Nick is really upset about CU
  12. [8:49pm] Mortimer: will do
  13. [8:49pm] Tenaway: He’s querying me about it
  14. [8:49pm] Mortimer: lol, i told you
  15. March 14 (final draft discussion)
  16.
  17. Mortimer: I have the treaty posted in our gov forum, awaiting back from these guys.
  18. [11:48am] Tenages: Cool
  19. [11:48am] Mortimer: I had to explain article 4 to them
  20. [11:48am] Tenages: Yeah I talked to Nick about it some
  21. [11:49am] Tenages: He liked the purpose of it, but thought it should be more vague in the public version, which is cool withus
  22. [11:49am] Tenages: I just don’t want to get you stuck between us and UPN at all
  23. [11:49am] Tenages: Not that I have any plans to be starting anything with UPN
  24. [11:51am] Mortimer: No, and while I don't think that would necessarily be a problem, because I don't think either side has a habit of acting irrationally. Any potential conflicts in interest would likely be forseen far in advance.
