Alright, here is my rant on FNAF haters.  I'm going list the reasons people hate it, and rant about it.

Hater Point 1 - Scott is a milker.

Uh, no.  Milking is Skylanders.  They fart out 3 to 4 games a year, and like 200 toys, let you start with 3, tell you to "buy them all", then call it a day.

Yes, Scott made 4 games in a year.  BUT he spent nearly all his time on them, and he's ONE PERSON.

Also, he LIKES to make these games.  He's happy with his creations.  People who work on Skylanders are happy with the bucks that come rolling in return for little effort.

Also, PEOPLE NEED MONEY.  It's stupid, but true.
And would you rather work a job where you get money, but hate the job, or work a job where you're happy, and your fans are happy?

Hater Point 2 - FNAF fans are cancerous.

Oh, you mean the vocal part of the fandom?  Don't worry, they're the minority.

Look.  STEREOTYPING A ENTIRE FANDOM IS RUDE AND IGNORANT.  That is all!~

Hater Point 3 - Scott Only Cares About The Money

Oh, yeah, right.  A guy who donates money to charity anonymously, (BTW, word gets out most of the time when he does it, but he tries to hide that he did it) spends his small amount of free time with his kids, and budgets his money wisely only makes his games for the money.

Get real.

Oh, also, THE GUY USED TO BE A FREAKING CASHIER BECAUSE HIS GAMES WEREN'T SUCCESSFUL.  FNAF was his first successful game.  His others were below average in popularity AT BEST.

Oh, and if he only cared about the money, would he pull a game he decided wasn't good enough from Steam, repost it as a free game, update the game until it's at a MUCH better quality, and leave it as free despite the fact that it's good now?

Because he did that.

He had the chance to make it cost money again, but he DIDN'T.  He could have had a 5th source of money, flowing in, BUT HE DIDN'T.

Hater Point 4 - Well, *insert other reason here.*
