  136. Types and Specifications of Infectious Diseases
  137.
  138. In reference to the necessary extent of necessary damage in response to the use of weapons, biological weapons, or otherwise.
  139. When on a battlefield, human resources are of utmost importance in case of outbreak of a disease. The most important people in this case are nurses to care for patients. When the infection rate is high, the lethality should be limited. On the other hand, when there is only a small outbreak, the lethality will rise, and infection should be kept to a minimum to prevent a larger outbreak.
  140.
  141. We now outline various types of infectious diseases, so that you main remain calm no matter the situation
  142.
  143. 2) Exceptions
  144. When infection is high lethality should be low, and when infection is low lethality should be high.
  145. Those are the ones we are aware of, but if there are further disclosures then they may exceed what is written. Alternatively, widespread infection may lead to mutation, and different versions may appear. Taking that into consideration, you must act with care.
  146.
  147. 3) Strains
  148. Written below are the strains of research up until XXX Year XX Month. This is only a general description which may change with time.
  149.
  150. Alpha strain:
  151. Wide range infection type. Using XXX mushrooms as a base, the infectivity and range increased. Symptoms include fever, sweating, and nausea.
  152. Incubation period is 3-6 days. Infection through contact, liquids, and blood.
  153. Lethality is low but when not given medical treatment, weakness followed by death may occur.
  154. Taking into account the incubation period, you should put these people in quarantine for 10 days.
  155. Be careful of infection (wear airtight clothes if available), and use the alpha mark first-aid kit.
  156.
  157. Beta strain:
  158. Lethal infection type. Using XXX virus as a base, it was made to be heavily resistant to existing vaccines. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, vomiting blood, and hemorrhages. Infection through blood.
  159. Incubation period of 2 hours. Death rate near 100%.
  160. Do not approach those infected by the beta strain. The virus should die out seven hours following death.
  161.
  162. Omega strain:
  163. ...at the domain level...
  164. ...do not apply.
  165. ...cardiac arrest...
  166. ...omega mark... do... use...
  167.
  168. Page 10:
  169. 1) When it begins
  170. The main book should be opened when there is an A-1 alarm or when you suspect a similar situation (in case of an exception refer to the classification clause, and immediately contact XXX inspection division).
  171.
  172. The main book contains directions on what course of action to take in case of emergency.
  173.
  174. In case of a unique development, you must take the appropriate actions.
  175.
  176. You must be aware that the luxuries, freedom, and safety that you had during your life are no longer guaranteed, and that you must cast off common sense as an obstacle to survival.
  177.
  178. Adapt to the situation and act appropriately. Many human lives are at stake.
  179.
  180. 2) First Measures
  181. Contact authorities immediately, and wait for the disposal unit. However, it may take time for them to arrive, and the disposal unit may not be able to come depending on the situation.
  182.
  183. The most important thing is isolation. Immediately following the securing of a safe area, move not only those infected, but those who were with them into the area. Do not allow them to leave. Following this, completely isolate the surrounding area.
  184.
  185. You must perform these actions as quickly as possible. There may be cases where you can allow an authority to convince them that this is for their benefit (the police, teachers of this school, and others). If you cannot, using weapons to persuade them is one option, but be aware that there is the danger of inciting a panic.
  186.
  187. Ignore any casualties that arise as a result of violent force. If you fail in the isolation, be prepared for several dozen people to be lost.
  188.
  189. 3) In Case of Failure
  190. It is vital to take measures against those infected at first, but if that fails, the number of infected my exponentially rise, and it may turn into a pandemic. If you fail in the above isolation, then break the seal on the main book.
  191.
  192. Even then, your priority is capture and isolation. However, in this case you must secure healthy individuals and supplies, and isolate yourselves from the others.
  193.
  194. We believe that the number of resources and people will be limited. If fighting occurs, be certain to get supplies.
  195.
  196. Make absolute certain in who you choose to bring with you. Keep in mind that they must also be able to fight.
  197.
  198. 4) Afterwards
  199. In all times, in all places, there exist morals, but above all the most importance must be placed on human life. However, when there is a crisis involving a large amount of human life, you must not hesitate over a small group of people.
  200.
  201. If you have broken the seal on the main book, tolerance and sympathy are no longer virtues.
  202.
  203. Prepare yourself.
  204.
  205. Thousands and millions of human lives now rest on your shoulders.
  206.
  207. Page 11:
  208. Strict Retention Clause
  209. Upon breaking the seal on the main book, you agree to abide by Strict Retention Clause 16432.
  210. (Penal regulations can be found under the same clause)
  211. If it is opened without permission, under the incorrect circumstance, or leaked to a third party, immediately contact the XXX disposal unit.
  212. The information enclosed within the main booklet is strictly confidential (whether written, spoken, or seen).
  213. Regardless of public investigation agencies, the contents of this book must under no circumstances be spoken of, nor even the existence of the book itself.
  214.
  215. Page ??:
  216. Mii-kun joined the club.
  217. Joining clubs, changing classes or schools.
  218. Taking in someone new. Someone new entering a group. It's quite difficult, and may even cause trouble over very small matters.
  219. All the while, things may seem to calm down, and while that's wonderful...
  220.
  221. Yet, there are some things that simply do not wish to go well.
  222. When that happens, it's best to simply accept it. When school doesn't go well just take a break, and take a look at the outside world.
  223. ...Well, that's only when the outside world is safe.
  224.
  225. Well then, which will occur now that Mii-kun has joined the School Life Club?
  226. Please look forward to volume 4.
