  1. GM (GM): We can either stick in the city and clear out monsters in a big fight or just skip that and proceed with the whatever you guys were wanting to do.
  2.
  3. Everett Pillory: ( Skip the fight. )
  4.
  5. Martin Baron: I'm feeling up for leaving. We do gotta get the bombs and all.
  6.
  7. M. Walker: I'm pretty much along the ride either way
  8. for*
  9.
  10. GM (GM): 3-1, okay then.
  11.
  12. Martin Baron: Could visit the hospital real quick, pick up Bullwinkle
  13.
  14. Clayton R.: I can only stay for a short time today, as it stands now, maybe 30 min, so I'd be missing out on any major plot we do. I beleive Everett and Martin still had their personal goals of saving Deep City if we wanted to try and complete those this session
  15.
  16. Martin Baron: Oh yeah
  17. Well, we did deal with the sudden mutant problem and saved some civilians. Technically saved Deep City?
  18.
  19. GM (GM): Yep.
  20. +20 mp and xp for that.
  21.
  22. Martin Baron: Ooh, where we pick up the Moose, also pick up Cas and get them both in.
  23.
  24. Clayton R.: I'm fine either way really. The sooner we start,, the better
  25.
  26. GM (GM): You have done that.
  27. You have also received 3,000 from the weapons testing guy, jordie.
  28. 3,000 dollars I should clarify
  29. Everett is still staying with the city, right?
  30. Right, sure. Your party is also supplemented by a dog named Cas.
  31. We begin!
  32.
  33. Everett Pillory: (I want to say goodbye to the others first)
  34. (Before I use my moose)
  35.
  36. GM (GM): https://youtu.be/Qy9_lfjQopU
  37. Sure.
  38. brb
  39. back
  40.
  41. Clayton R. feels like Everett is skirting responsibility more than anything, but at least he's planning on making himself useful. "There's still the unanswered problem of the zero bombs if you are staying here. Even then, how do plan on holding this position?"
  42.
  43. Everett Pillory replies "Hershel has the schematics. I've told that thing everything... And Gold? He needs a brianac. Look it's working at a laboratory for once, not fixing booze and drugs for a bunch of raiders.
  44.
  45. Everett Pillory: I mean, Clay... out of all the people I know I was hoping you would've been happier without me tagging along
  46.
  47. Clayton R. shrugs. "you'd think it... but there's till wok to do is all. I have reservations about someone like you gaining power here, and I intend to check up on it."
  48.
  49. Everett Pillory: Do you really think I'm a politician? If I were I wouldn't end up as being a professor
  50.
  51. Clayton R.: "I wouldn't be asking if I didn't have a reason."
  52.
  53. Everett Pillory: (Oh great. I'll do that)
  54.
  55. Martin Baron finished rooting around the lab, having seen enough of the notes and journal entries left behind by I-Man. He piles all the papers up and leaves them on a clear counter, somewhat solemn over what transpired earlier.
  56.
  57. Everett Pillory walks over to Martin. "Found anything interesting?"
  58.
  59. GM (GM): The lab is full of expensive equipment, although it is kinda useless to you without the right skills.
  60.
  61. Martin Baron: ( And potentially explosive. Martin's 3 Mind is enough to tell him to not touch such things without thick rubber gloves. )
  62.
  63. Martin Baron nods. "He... he was a good man." Martin then explains how I-Man was looking for a cure, trying to stop himself from harming anymore civilians, and was trying to do the right thing.
  64.
  65. Everett Pillory nods "I know Martin. I will remember that every day I'll work here."
  66.
  67. GM (GM): ((Sounds like the map should be back at D))
  68.
  69. Martin Baron: (Explaining it all in text looks like it takes three times as long as it would to type this out.)
  70. (Sorry, wasn't sure if we were there or done outside or not.)
  71.
  72. GM (GM): ((As you try to make your secretary not eat the desk.
  73.
  74. Martin Baron: "So... You're staying here then?"
  75. ( He doubles as a test subject. )
  76.
  77. Everett Pillory sighs "Someone will have to take over, right? And I'm the most qualified"
  78.
  79. A dog mutant comes in after the way the party came possibly looking to back you guys up if you had needed!
  80.
  81. Clayton R. crosses his arms but he doesn't object further
  82.
  83. Martin Baron: "I don't know how Flask will deal with this, but... You should be off the hook once we deal with her task. I just hope you're not using this as an alibi and will actually help these people."
  84.
  85. Clayton R.: "I'm sure you'll be fine if she never has to see you again."
  86.
  87. Everett Pillory gives Martin and light punch to the gut "Oh and you too? No. I'm not coping out of this stuff. I'm just making sure that... well. We don't have any trouble here later. Gold might not like us causing problems for Deep City."
  88.
  89. GM (GM): brb please continue
  90.
  91. M. Walker sighs, feeling the same way after her last run-in with Flask
  92.
  93. GM (GM): ((Flask: Walking PSTD trigger.))
  94.
  95. Martin Baron flinches at Everett's light hit. "I wish you the best with this then. It was a pleasure working with you through all this mess, Everett." Martin turns and notices the arrival of a walking, black mop with a tongue hanging out. "I'm sorry, hello?"
  96.
  97. Clayton R. begins pacing around, stopping in front of the group. "We should get moving sometime soon." He looks at Everett, "Don't lose your head here."
  98.
  99. Martin Baron: ( She's a perfect fit for Marx. Everyone gets a PTSD attack when either show up. )
  100.
  101. Everett Pillory nods "I'll go and talk with Gold after all of this..." he then turns and packs dust left after I-Man into a bag.
  102.
  103. Clayton R.: (( I gotta head out now. . just assume Clayton is silent and upset for the rest of the session. ))
  104.
  105. GM (GM): Right!
  106.
  107. Martin Baron: ( Later Clayton. Sorry much didn't happen while you were here. )
  108.
  109. Clayton R.: (( is fine, later fellas ))
  110.
  111. Everett Pillory: (( Later Clay ))
  112.
  113. GM (GM): (Have a good one, man!)
  114. Cas the party has spotted you!
  115.
  116. M. Walker shrugs as Cas comes onto the scene, the fellow canine mutant catching her eye
  117.
  118. Cas Hutson upon arrival, sweeps his hair covering his eyes for a moment, that is before noticing Martin. "Damn hair.. Hm? Oh, hey. You guys must be whom I'm looking for, right? Thought that y'all needed backup beforehand, or used to I mean," Cas said.
  119.
  120. Everett Pillory: We're fine now...
  121.
  122. Martin Baron: "Yeah... You with that Gold guy?"
  123.
  124. you have received [backup]
  125.
  126. M. Walker bllinks for a moment before she recalls. It'd slipped her mind from recovering after getting chewed on.
  127.
  128. M. Walker: "Yeah, that's us...what's your name?" she asks, straightening herself for a second
  129.
  130. Cas Hutson: "What- no? I followed y'all here after hearing some commotion," he replied. "Erm, anyways, the name's Cas."
  131.
  132. Martin Baron whispers to the others, "Probably with the security force. Bloody hell, would've preferred if they were with us far sooner."
  133.
  134. GM (GM): ((Actually, in game it's been like ten minutes, two of which you actually spent fighting.))
  135. Proceed outside?
  136.
  137. M. Walker nods curtly, adding, "Manalisha...Just call me Mana, or Walker."
  138.
  139. M. Walker: (Yup)
  140.
  141. Martin Baron: (Yeah.)
  142.
  143. Cas Hutson: (Yeah)
  144.
  145. Martin Baron: "Martin. You can go back to the security here, we already finished up here."
  146.
  147. GM (GM): You briefly stop over the city streets. It looks like the excess mutants are captured or dispatched by security.
  148.
  149. Everett Pillory: ( Yep. I'm uploading his token now )
  150.
  151. Cas Hutson: "Huh, Walker and Martin? Nice names, if I say so myself," Cas notes with a small nod.
  152.
  153. GM (GM): While watching everyone work... the party is approached by the ferret, Jordie.
  154.
  155. M. Walker: "Can we, help you?" she asks the oncoming ferret
  156.
  157. GM (GM): (Sorry, didn't want to interrupt.)
  158.
  159. Jordie: Ah, hey, well, looks like that contract is fulfilled. As per yadda yadda here is your dosh.
  160.
  161. Jordie hands Martin 3,000 dollars.
  162.
  163. Jordie: make sure you share it with you panda coworker.
  164.
  165. Martin Baron takes the cash and looks down at it, muttering out a "Thanks." He puts the wad into his pocket and asks "That Auntie M stuff. You got it from I-Man, didn't you?"
  166.
  167. Jordie: Off the record it was being developed for him.
  168. But it was clearly not ready.
  169.
  170. Martin Baron: "No. No it wasn't." Martin says, scowling with the last sentence.
  171.
  172. ANYWAY: he says alittle too loudly, "...If you guys are headed out again I should point out that we have a bounty on monsters, $600 per unit. No bigger than 12 feet tall."
  173.
  174. GM (GM): ((You're the one that stabbed him with it!))
  175.
  176. Everett Pillory finishes loading as much of ashes into the bag and walks up to where Martin is "Something's up?"
  177.
  178. Cas Hutson was gonna go off on his way, figuring that he has no other business to be find, only to hear something from Jordie that got his attention.
  179.
  180. Martin Baron 's surprised to see Everett leave his lab temporarily. Before responding, he retrieves the $3000 and gives $1500 to Everett. "Here. Payment for that job we had."
  181.
  182. GM (GM): ((Points for not being a clayton.))
  183.
  184. Everett Pillory looks at it "Should I take it even? I mean I'll be staying here but I do need something to start up..."
  185.
  186. Martin Baron: ( Don't even mention the money and punch Everett in the guts? )
  187.
  188. GM (GM): ((Yes.))
  189.
  190. M. Walker nods to Everett with a quick smile. "Well, I hope you'll find a better life for yourself here, doc."
  191.
  192. Martin Baron: "Just take it, man. I don't care." Martin says, turning back to the group. "You guys decide if you want to collect... monster heads for this guy or not. I'm not feeling up for it."
  193.
  194. Everett Pillory: I'm done rounding up mutants...
  195. Hey Martin... one more thing.
  196.
  197. Martin Baron chuckles. "I've dealt with more than enough in the past hour. Yeah?"
  198.
  199. GM (GM): ((Everett's new job will be rounding up mutants.))
  200.
  201. GM (GM): ((Everett's new job will be rounding up mutants.))
  202.
  203. Martin Baron: (( He's wearing his scientist garb and uses a lasso to catch mutants ))
  204.
  205. Everett Pillory pulls the rabbit over and quickly ties his tie around Martin's neck "My good luck charm for the wastes. Kept me alive for longer than I should be... I figure you'll have more use for it."
  206.
  207. Martin Baron looks at the tie Everett's given him, definitely worn from various fights, explosions, and other mishaps. He smiles and says "Thanks Everett. I just hope you find what you're looking for here."
  208.
  209. Everett Pillory chuckles "The world I was looking for is long past."
  210.
  211. GM (GM): Proceed to surface?
  212.
  213. M. Walker: Yup
  214.
  215. Cas Hutson thinks for a quick moment. "Damn, $600 per some monster? Could use some of that for myself," he mumbled. He looks over at Martin decides to approach him.
  216.
  217. Martin Baron: (Yeah)
  218.
  219. GM (GM): You rejoing with the surface.
  220.
  221. GM (GM): There you find both Hershel and the long lost jeep!
  222. Beside the jeep stands a moose with coveralls. He has a very heavy-duty gun slung around his back.
  223.
  224. Claudius Silvanus waves from afar "Ahoy there! You're the guys I was supposed to meet, right?"
  225.
  226. Cas Hutson decides to join the group! ... For profit.
  227. Cas Hutson: ( Sorry I type so slowly, my spacebar is screwed up five ways from sunday)
  228.
  229. Martin Baron nods, suspicious over the heavy artillery the moose carries. "Yeah, that's us. You delivering the Jeep to us?"
  230.
  231. Claudius Silvanus smiles puffing his chest out "Yessiirrr, another fine job done by Claudius Silvanus, one of the best mechanics in Deep City!" the moose "But in all seriousness, I've been watching you boys and girls fight your way through these muties and I was thinking "Boy I wish I were like them! So I pulled out my torch, made tis little piece of wonder and well. If you don't mind I want to tag along!"
  232.
  233. Martin Baron: "Wow, well... Thanks man. Um... We wont mind having you along, but... Let me check with the others first." Martin turns to the group and whispers, "Guys, what do you think? Can we bring him? I don't think we should tell him about that... mission Flask sent us on."
  234. "Same with Cas, though I don't think he'll be here long. Looks like he's just here for a quick buck."
  235.
  236. With a meaty florp noise Cladius is assimilated into the entity known as the group.
  237.
  238. GM (GM): ((Quick buck... Aw jeez.))
  239.
  240. Martin Baron: (( Ha ha! Puns. ))
  241.
  242. M. Walker confides with Martin, adding apprehensively, "I don't think so..he can help I suppose, but I don't know how well Flask would take to involving outsiders.."
  243.
  244. GM (GM): Looks like you guys have a Secret Mission then.
  245.
  246. Martin Baron shakes his head "We can just keep him in the dark about this. We should definitely get as much help as we can get. Remember what happened the last time we went missile hunting?"
  247.
  248. GM (GM): ((You went on a whirlwind journey across the wastes and nearly forgot about it?))
  249.
  250. M. Walker sighs with conciliation. "You're right..."
  251.
  252. Claudius Silvanus cuts in "I was never out in the wastes for very long. What do you do? Ride around in a jeep and dispense justice? Fight those damn topsiders? Trying to get the world fixed?" the moose seems to be in a rather optimistic mood
  253.
  254. Martin Baron: ( Cas told me she'll be back. Keyboard issues. )
  255.
  256. Martin Baron turns and smiles to Claudius, muttering out to Walker "This guy's a greenhorn."
  257.
  258. GM (GM): Faulty space key is fautly.
  259.
  260. Martin Baron: ( Nah, she switched for another keyboard and now none of the keys work. )
  261.
  262. M. Walker nods with a knowing sigh
  263.
  264. GM (GM): putta ting.
  265. Well, just tell us what she says if that don't start working.
  266. We will make this work!
  267.
  268. Martin Baron: "Sure... I guess." Martin responds to Claudius. "We'll let you tag along." Martin turns back to the group. "Remember, not a word about the missiles. We can just say we happen upon them by chance, or something."
  269.
  270. Claudius Silvanus: (( I hope you guys love a super friendly guy that will get brutally killed! ))
  271.
  272. GM (GM): ((Also, now is the time for testing. You are out in the wastes, I made a random encounter table.
  273.
  274. Martin Baron: ( Oh, sounds fun. To both remarks, actually. )
  275.
  276. Claudius Silvanus pumps his fist in the air yelling "SCORE!"
  277.
  278. GM (GM): Does anyone have land navigation skills?
  279.
  280. Martin Baron: ( How old is Claudius? )
  281. ( That's a good question. I think that's a no. )
  282.
  283. ( We have a direction to head towards thanks to Hershel, but no navigation skills. )
  284.
  285. M. Walker: (I do)
  286.
  287. GM (GM): ((Excellent. I think he is adult age for a moose-man.))
  288.
  289. Martin Baron: ( Really, excellent )
  290.
  291. GM (GM): Then it's up to Walker! Roll 1d100
  292.
  293. Martin Baron: ( I was thinking very early adult, say college years )
  294.
  295. M. Walker: rolling 1d100
  296. (70)= 70
  297.
  298. GM (GM): 7
  299. Traders!
  300. Even number- out in the wastes!
  301.
  302. Claudius Silvanus: (( Lemme pull up his sheet ))
  303.
  304. Martin Baron explains how the group acquired a Topsider Transporter to the newcomers, hopefully dispelling their fear of it's appearance.
  305.
  306. Cas Hutson: ((Sorry about that. I ended up having keyboard difficulties after trying to switch keyboards. Had to actually reset the computer.))
  307.
  308. Martin Baron: ( Well the good news is you got it working, and no longer have to slam the space bar like a monkey on a typewriter to get it to work.)
  309.
  310. Claudius Silvanus is listening curiously but he's rather unphased. He's like a kid listening to a campfire war story.
  311.
  312. GM (GM): ((I actually copied your sheet to your character profile in the journal, if that helps. I did that for both you and Cas.))
  313.
  314. Claudius Silvanus: (( Age 35, Martin ))
  315. (( Let's say... he's a bit childish ))
  316.
  317. Martin Baron: ( Huh. )
  318.
  319. Cas Hutson: ((Thank goddess the keyboard is working fine now. Also, okay GM.))
  320.
  321. Martin Baron: ( I'll talk to the Sith Lord. )
  322.
  323. GM (GM): While in the wastes you encounter a group in robes.
  324.
  325. Martin Baron: ( OH WAIT NO )
  326.
  327. GM (GM): The one in the center raises it's hand and waves
  328.
  329. M. Walker is corroborating the story, when they're interrupted by the robed folk. Today's just full of surprises.
  330.
  331. Martin Baron draws the blaster and aims it at the group in robes. "Take the hoods off, now!" Martin shouts. After recalling the Mutts DJ and Gray encountered, and the ones that infiltrated Endtown, Martin's not taking any chances.
  332.
  333. GM (GM): Sorry, I was interrupting again, huh?
  334. They take their hoods off.
  335.
  336. Cas Hutson is listening to the story as well, since he had nothing much else to do, only to notice the robed group.
  337.
  338. Martin Baron: ( Can I roll perception? Notice any rubbery faces? )
  339. ( Or if they're particularly not rubbery? )
  340.
  341. M. Walker starts to reflexively reach for her own weapon when martin shouts at them
  342.
  343. GM (GM): They reveal themselves to be a small pack of ferret mutants, two lions, and one Mary.
  344.
  345. Claudius Silvanus whispers to Walker "Gosh... Do you think they're friendly?"
  346.
  347. GM (GM): The mary apparently is in the charge.
  348.
  349. Martin Baron: ( I'm gonna make a perception roll. I know you said traders, but I really don't want to risk it. Both IC and OOC. ))
  350. rolling 1d100+15
  351. (73)+15= 88
  352.
  353. GM (GM): You see scaring and facial blemishes, you are certain that they are not robots.
  354. Also, these guys look alittle... rough for traders.
  355.
  356. M. Walker glances at Claudius, adding "For the right price maybe."
  357.
  358. Martin Baron prepares to withdraw the blaster, until they begin to inch closer. "They're not Mutts, I can tell you guys that..."
  359.
  360. Sheev: Hello there! That's some nice stuff you have!
  361.
  362. GM (GM): 50% of the group do not get the reference.
  363.
  364. M. Walker raises an eyebrow, she's been in some firefights that started with those words.
  365.
  366. Cas Hutson keeps his wooden bat close, eyeing in question of the traders.
  367. Martin Baron: "Yes, it is... And we intend to keep it. Sorry for the rough introductions, but you can't be too certain, you know?"
  368.
  369. GM (GM): true, true.
  370.
  371. Martin Baron continues to keep the blaster out, prepared for any hostilities.
  372.
  373. Sheev: So, we have some wears, some services, and some news. Woud you like any of that?
  374.
  375. Claudius Silvanus whistles while polishing his gun.
  376.
  377. GM (GM): Claud's tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xG3yGdQYwqg
  378.
  379. Martin Baron: (( Hm. Can I make a persuasion roll to talk to the leader alone? Maybe get his group to back off so we can discuss things without risking an ambush? ))
  380.
  381. GM (GM): Nah, just do the old point to you then him then over there.
  382.
  383. Martin Baron: ( Good, because I was going to ask if anybody has persuasion better than I do, which is just about everyone here. )
  384. "What kind of news are you offering?"
  385.
  386. Claudius Silvanus: (( Haha, yeah that's Claude's theme alright ))
  387.
  388. Sheev: The kind where I get paid first.
  389.
  390. GM (GM): he says bluntly.
  391.
  392. Martin Baron: "Of course, of course... What's yer offer?"
  393.
  394. GM (GM): $20
  395.
  396. Martin Baron takes a $20 bill and hands it to Sheev. "Alright, what do you got for us?"
  397.
  398. GM (GM): New Persia has been taken over by bird radicals.
  399.
  400. Martin Baron: ( And I got $6.7K)
  401.
  402. Claudius Silvanus: (( Oh right, Everett has given Martin the notes of missile locations along with the tie ))
  403.
  404. Martin Baron: ( It's stuffed in the tie )
  405.
  406. GM (GM): They've taken to attacking anyone by doing fly-bys if you get close to the colony, so be careful heading north.
  407.
  408. Sheev: I've got something more useful but it'll be $50.
  409.
  410. Martin Baron shrugs "Well, that info's helpful as it is. Sure." He hands Palpatine a $50.
  411.
  412. GM (GM): There is a topsider patrol out here.
  413.
  414. Martin Baron loosely recalls Mana telling the group of the mantis leaving with a group of birds. Can't remember if they went to New Persia or not.
  415.
  416. Martin Baron: "Well they're patrolling just about everywhere, what's new?"
  417.
  418. GM (GM): The have apparently just been cruising the wastes, so I'd recommend sticking to ruins.
  419. They are nearby.
  420. So, you know, that's you're fifty.
  421.
  422. Martin Baron frowns. "Good to know then..."
  423.
  424. GM (GM): So do you want a slave or what?
  425.
  426. Martin Baron: ( Aw crap. )
  427. ( You can't give me this power man )
  428.
  429. Claudius Silvanus: ( Oh damn... )
  430. ( Remember Martin, I have a BIG gun )
  431.
  432. Martin Baron: ( Martin wouldn't do it. I would though. )
  433. "What the hell?! I'm sorry?"
  434. ( Could fight to free them... Or buy them off and let them off somewhere. )
  435.
  436. GM (GM): "...Ah, I have a cold." He coughs in a way to make it sound like he says "Coughslavescough*
  437.
  438. Martin Baron: ( Depends on how much dosh he wants. )
  439.
  440. Claudius Silvanus: ( Better not tell Claude... )
  441.
  442. Cas Hutson: (Best to ask him how much it costs.)
  443.
  444. Claudius Silvanus: ( Because the moose has a boyscout mentality )
  445.
  446. GM (GM): Yes, Deep City people love freedom and fair trade above all else.
  447.
  448. Martin Baron: "... Which ones are they?"
  449.
  450. Claudius Silvanus: (( Shazam with a shotgun ))
  451.
  452. GM (GM): The man continues to cough in a way that sounds like, "They aren't the lions."
  453. The man signals his men who move into a flank position around the ferret mutants.
  454.
  455. Martin Baron sighs. He really wants to deck this man in the face and deal with the lions, but that flanking position might make things difficult now. "And how much are they?"
  456.
  457. GM (GM): ((Yeah, on the table I have 70 would be Bad Traders. Since it's an even number it's in the middle of the wastes. On an odd number it would be in the middle of ruins.))
  458.
  459. Martin Baron: ( If it goes to combat, I can probably strike first with a stun round. )
  460. ( It's neat )
  461. (Should I aim for the emperor first or the lions? If I shoot them they might pay attention to me, avoid shooting the slaves.)
  462. (Say the one direct across from Cas. )
  463.
  464. GM (GM): Sheev explains that the price is usually 1,600 with a 10% discount for bulk of 3+
  465.
  466. Martin Baron: ( And how many are there? )
  467.
  468. GM (GM): 6
  469.
  470. Martin Baron: ( What do you guys think, pay the man or shoot them down? )
  471. ( I'm good for a shooting. )
  472. ( What'd the total be for 6, just to consider that option? )
  473.
  474. Cas Hutson: (I'm down with either. How much do you even have, money wise?)
  475.
  476. GM (GM): (I think I have a subconscious thing for ferrets...)
  477.
  478. Martin Baron: ( I'm surprised he has such a consistent set of slaves. )
  479.
  480. GM (GM): That's mostly me being un orginal.
  481. ((Ferrets, lions, emporer palpatine. Good to go!))
  482.
  483. Claudius Silvanus: (( Shoot them ))
  484. (( I can rip them apart with my gun ))
  485.
  486. Martin Baron: ( 2 out of 3 votes for shoot, sounds like it's a go. )
  487. ( I can aim for this lion here. )
  488. ( Surprise hit )
  489. ( If I can hit him, it can keep the slaves somewhat safe. )
  490.
  491. Martin Baron: ( Yep. What's the aim bonus for energy weapons again? )
  492. ( +10? )
  493.
  494. GM (GM): +10, yeah.
  495.
  496. Martin Baron: ( Wait wait, I got an idea. )
  497.
  498. GM (GM): Roll intiative!
  499.
  500. Martin Baron: ( Pay him, then shoot him. )
  501.
  502. Cas Hutson: ((I could try to get the ferrets to safety, since I only got a wood bat.))
  503.
  504. Martin Baron: ( Ah nah, never mind. )
  505. rolling 1d100+55

  533.
  534. Martin Baron: ( Leave the old man to me, I can parry his non sense. )
  535. ( Focus on the lions first of all, then we can get the old man. He's only a threat if he has explosive collars on the slaves or something )
  536.
  537. GM (GM): Okay!
  538.
  539. Claudius Silvanus pulls out his gun, sets it at 3-round burst and aims for the Lion "I feel sorry to be in your skin, but I hate people like you!" and fires away
  540.
  541. Martin Baron: ( Which lion? )
  542. ( Ah, my bad )
  543.
  544. Claudius Silvanus: ( The one in straight line... otherwise I'll wreck someone )
  545. (( 2 dots in heavy weapons is +20? )
  546.
  547. Martin Baron: ( We need some music for this fight )
  548.

  564.
  565. Claudius Silvanus: GET DOWN!
  566.
  567. GM (GM): That's an idea... For your turn.
  568. Or that, sure.
  569.
  570. Martin Baron: ( Sorry, should've waited )
  571.
  572. GM (GM): Last action?
  573.
  574. Claudius Silvanus: (( Aim at the lion so I have a better shot next time. I still have 3 shots like this ))
  575.
  576. GM (GM): Sheev's turn!
  577. Sheev reveals he has a shiv and tries to shink Martin!

  601.
  602. GM (GM): He does so again.

  604. Martin Baron: ( Hell, I should just let him shiv me then if it's that low. )
  605.
  606. GM (GM): Well yeah, the knife is only 1d10+10
  607. +6 strength.

  643.
  644. M. Walker in a panic seeing Martin go down, she yells, "You slaver son of a bitch!" and opens fire on Palpatine
  645.
  646. Martin Baron underestimates how damaged he was from the fights in Deep City. The knife tears into him and Martin is quick to remember. He falls to the ground without a word.
  647. Martin Baron: ( I'm dead mang )
  648.
  649. GM (GM): Yeah, I'd say he's savible. I mean, the dude had a 3" knife and a strength of 3.

  676. GM (GM): You hit him straight in the chest.

  679.
  680. Claudius Silvanus: (( Yeah that's what I was thinking of ))
  681.
  682. Martin Baron: ( I've already skirted death, I think two or three times now )
  683.
  684. GM (GM): ((Wonder if that should be a rule.)
  685. Next action walker?
  686.
  687. Claudius Silvanus: (( Man that's kinda funny, Martin... Everett quit when he skirted death twice. ))

  700. You don't have 3 actions right?
  701.
  702. M. Walker: No
  703.
  704. Martin Baron: ( Should we have a timer till death? Like Clayton bleeding out? )
  705.
  706. GM (GM): Cas!
  707. Good point. sure!
  708.
  709. Cas Hutson: ((I can try getting Martin out of there. Or wait, I think I only have two actions, right?))

  711. GM (GM): You're level 5 so let's have 5 turns?

  713. Martin Baron: ( That sounds fair )
  714.
  715. GM (GM): Yes.
  716.
  717. Martin Baron: ( I was thinking something relating to health percentage and damage taken, but that sounds good too )
  718.
  719. GM (GM): (664, so you're about peak condition.)
  720.
  721. Cas Hutson: ((Oh, then I could just get head over to that mary and hit em with the bat.))
  722.
  723. Martin Baron: ( I'd say focus on the lion since they're closer, but you just got a bat right? No guns or high agility? )
  724.
  725. GM (GM): ((Since the situation just got serious.))
  726.
  727. Cas Hutson: ((No guns. I got an agility of 6 but I dunno if it'll cut it.))
  728.
  729. GM (GM): Sure!
  730.
  731. Martin Baron: ( Hm, I don't know. Make your choice. )
  732. ( Hope you don't die so quickly like the C4 )
  733.
  734. GM (GM): I'll say this, they are armored but not nearly that fast.
  735.
  736. Cas Hutson: ((I hope to god I won't either.)
  737. ((Cripe, backed out by mistake. Anyways I'll take on Sheev, since he just has a knife)

  834. Martin Baron: ( I don't think we have. We just up and at em left, didn't we? )
  835.
  836. GM (GM): Actually with shooting it's after bonuses
  837. Since the margin for bonuses is relatively low.
  838. Yeah.
  839.
  840. Martin Baron: ( Wait... wait wait wait )
  841. ( Just call Hershel here. )
  842.
  843. GM (GM): Perhaps some out of the box thinking is required in this situation.
  844.
  845. Martin Baron: ( Aw shit, but Claud is out of moves, Sheev goes next, and that leaves Cas. )
  846.
  847. GM (GM): Welp, I guess Walker goes down with a spin

  872.
  873. GM (GM): Beneath the pain the old man comes from around the corner and smirks.
  874. Okay, let's deal.
  875.
  876. GM (GM): We can patch your friends here but he want, say, both your vehicles and... I don't know.... 6 thousand?

  878. ((I realized the guy has 14hp.
  879.
  880. Claudius Silvanus hisses with anger... He looks at the downed rabbit and poodle. "6 thousand and the jeep."

  882. GM (GM): The man lays down on the ground. " I think I'm bleeding eternally."
  883. He points his hand at the sky and says, "3k, the vehicles, and we keep your men alive.
  884. "Unless you want them out of the deal..."
  885.
  886. Martin Baron: ( I'll pay the 3k, I got us into this mess. )
  887.
  888. Cas Hutson makes a huff over the deal, before eyeing at Claudius. "Hey, moose, are you sure we should do this?"
  889.
  890. Claudius Silvanus barks at Cas enraged "AND WHAT DO YOU SUGGESTS OTHERWISE? IF YOU HAVE A MAN DOWN, YOU PICK HIM UP"

  906. By the power of John Adams we have a deal!
  907.
  908. GM (GM): The slavers demand that Cas brings out the supplies from hershel, with his supervision
  909. rolling 1d100
  910. (89)= 89
  911. rolling 1d100
  912. (69)= 69
  913. Martin, you are bandaged up to 20 hp.
  914. Mana, you are banaged up to 20 hp as well.
  915.
  916. Claudius Silvanus is face with cruel reality of the wasteland for the first time... he's full of rage but he has to stomach it up
  917.
  918. Martin Baron: ( That was fast )
  919.
  920. Cas Hutson grumbles, but follows the demand from the slaver. He'll talk to Claud later.
  921.
  922. Cas Hutson: *slavers
  923.
  924. Martin Baron: ( Thought it'd take another adventure or so before things get really messed up )
  925.
  926. GM (GM): The slavers always know first aid, its handy in the trade.
  927. Ah,
  928. The old man notices Claudius' gun.
  929. That's nice.
  930.
  931. Shiv: I'd like that.
  932.
  933. Claudius Silvanus: (( AH HELL NO ))
  934.
  935. GM (GM): ((They are (bad) traders. I am sorry.))
  936.
  937. Martin Baron can barely breathe. From when he hit the ground to now, everything was black. He can barely see anything nor hear the slavers speak.
  938.
  939. Claudius Silvanus: Give me some junk and I'll make you one...
  940.
  941. GM (GM): The lion grabs the gun from you (If you don't resist.) and will hand it to shiv
  942.
  943. Claudius Silvanus pushes the lion away "Leggo. It's connected to a battery. You'll damage it!"
  944.
  945. Shiv: No, I like this one. It's like balloons!
  946. And to teach you not to mess with us.
  947.
  948. GM (GM): The take your wondergun!
  949. Girls, in the jeep! the old man shouts,
  950.
  951. they drive off, the man waves to you as you go and shouts, "Skol, bitches!"
  952.
  953. Martin Baron looks up, barely making out the group of slavers and the truck. He feels like throwing up.
  954.
  955. GM (GM): rolling 1d100+40
  956. (47)+40= 87
  957.
  958. Claudius Silvanus sits down on the ground all depressed "God giveth, God taketh it away"
  959.
  960. GM (GM): In a daring bit of vengence Claudius removed a vital part from his gun to make it non-functional for the slavers.
  961. Congratulations, you got your asses kicked!
  962. Let's do some xp.
  963. Absolutely nothing was accomplished...
  964.
  965. Martin Baron: ( I'm guessing this is a personal failure )
  966.
  967. Claudius Silvanus: (( Well moose got his dream shattered ))
  968. (( And we might want to go back to Deep City... we're all more or less dead or dying and I'm without a weapon ))
  969.
  970. GM (GM): ((Yes actually, I can't think of anything more accurate than this scenario.))
  971.
  972. Martin Baron: ( All because I forgot that we got fucked over by the mutants and haven't healed since )
  973.
  974. GM (GM): Everyone loses -20 mp from failing to free those slaves, also getting beat down.
  975.
  976. Cas Hutson: (Well shoot)
  977.
  978. GM (GM): That's kind of my fault. I just wanted to move things along so I kinda rushed you out.
  979. Still, a good first test of the random encounter table.
  980.
  981. Cas Hutson: (Cas is already half way down on MP)
  982.
  983. Claudius Silvanus: Nah it's actually a very good thing, GM
  984. You have a hotshot that thought it would've been all easy
  985. And he got his ass beaten down
  986.
  987. Martin Baron: I'll take off $3K from my money amount
  988.
  989. Claudius Silvanus: That's just great stuff
  990.
  991. Martin Baron: ... How crazy would I look if I said we should track them down? After healing, of course.
  992.
  993. GM (GM): Right now it looks like
  994. 1 bandits
  995. 2 traders
  996. 3Topsiders
  997. 4Mutants
  998. 5 dittos
  999.
  1000. GM (GM): 6Sand Storm
  1001. 7Traders (bad)
  1002. 8 Night attack
  1003. 9Wacky Travellers
  1004. 0 Travellers
1005. that's for the tens, if the ones is odd or even it's wastes or in ruins.
  1006.
1007. Cas Hutson: Oh hey Clayton!
  1008.
1009. Claudius Silvanus: (( Hahahah OH GOD. CLAY... ))
  1010.
1011. GM (GM): Nah, I really wanted to be nice and personal.
  1012.
1013. Claudius Silvanus: ( BRAVO. You have the timing of the US cavalry )
  1014.
  1015. GM (GM): Hey clayton.
  1016.
1017. Martin Baron: Yeah good news, Clay
  1018.
1019. GM (GM): They got defeated and robbed by the snuggie squad.
  1020.
1021. Clayton R.: I was readinjg the whole time while at work
1022. next session is rampage for Clayton
1023. he wants his stuff back
  1024.
1025. GM (GM): Alright, this session was a right slobber knocker for xp.
  1026.
1027. Martin Baron: I'm surprised we didn't lose any more MP than we did
  1028.
1029. GM (GM): But regardless, we still have the MVP xp vote.
  1030. Who did good today?
  1031.
1032. Martin Baron: Claud. He told me about that deal he made with you
  1033.
1034. Cas Hutson: Claud pretty much.
  1035.
  1036. GM (GM): Thats true.
  1037.
1038. Claudius Silvanus: (( Clay... the best idea was that we left you behind as we scouted ahead and Clay comes running with DJ to see us in disarray ))
  1039.
1040. GM (GM): He managed to keep you guys with your heads and a set of wheels.
  1041.
1042. Martin Baron: Or they're resting in Hershel
  1043.
1044. Clayton R.: I was about to go on break when I saw Claud about to make a deal. I just wasn't in time to end the session with a surprise appearance and a
  1045.
1046. GM (GM): Or you could not tell him anything so he doesn't get an ego.
  1047.
1048. Cas Hutson: I gotta be honest. I thought Martin would end up dying in this session, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
  1049.
  1050. Claudius Silvanus: Lucky tie!
  1051.
1052. GM (GM): Well, if he dies that kind if invaldiates the whole missile hunting quest.
1053. This is why dying on the spot is gm optional.
  1054.
1055. Clayton R.: My train of thought was Clayton pumped up some music in his suit and went to bed
  1056. in Hershel
  1057.
  1058. Martin Baron: I was considering rolling a 1d2
1059. 1 for live for a few turns, 2 for die
  1060.
1061. GM (GM): Maybe. I don't know. The system is pretty brutal enough without a hard death case.
1062. Off course if you got hit by a zero gun, that's a death right threre.
  1063. *there
  1064.
1065. Martin Baron: It was entirely my fault, should've thought things more clearly
  1066.
1067. GM (GM): Eh, welcome to endtown.
1068. So I think the system worked out pretty well today.
  1069.
  1070. Claudius Silvanus: Yeah
  1071.
  1072. Cas Hutson: Yep.
  1073.
1074. Claudius Silvanus: Also remember one thing GM
  1075.
  1076. Martin Baron: Mhmm
  1077.
  1078. GM (GM): MVP?
  1079.
  1080. Martin Baron: Claud
  1081.
1082. Claudius Silvanus: You made a storyteller system so people will want to save their characters. Topsiders are end-game enemies
  1083.
  1084. Cas Hutson: Claud!
  1085.
1086. Clayton R.: I can't wait to get majorly pissed at everyone next session for losing and going on a revenge quest
  1087.
  1088. GM (GM): True.
1089. Clayton is becoming darkman more and more.
  1090.
1091. Martin Baron: Make a trip to Paradise Falls to free the slaves?
1092. ( So he says, really it's to get his stuff back )
  1093.
1094. Claudius Silvanus: After we restock at Deep City?
  1095.
1096. GM (GM): Wait, Paradise Falls is a pretty good name.
  1097.
1098. Clayton R.: The slaves being saved is merely a byproduct of killing these guys
  1099.
1100. Cas Hutson: Yeah, we should head back to Deep City.
  1101.
1102. Clayton R.: by accident really
  1103.
1104. GM (GM): Is that in the comic and I missed that or something?
1105. Because I'm using that now.
  1106.
  1107. Martin Baron: Fallout 3
  1108.
1109. GM (GM): I'm not using that now.
  1110.
1111. Martin Baron: Literally a slave camp
  1112.
1113. Clayton R.: I feel like Clayton is more Punisher-esque now. Where he is in it to kill those screwing with him and saving others is just a byproduct of it
  1114.
  1115. GM (GM): https://youtu.be/icrM6q1Un4E
  1116.
1117. Clayton R.: Either way, should be interesting. I'm fine with the idea of them scouting ahead of Clayton
  1118.
1119. GM (GM): Great! I am very sorry about being late today. Never take cold medicine before going to bed.
  1120.
1121. Claudius Silvanus: Hehe it's okay
  1122. It was fun overall
  1123.
1124. Martin Baron: It's fine. I can pitch an idea for a slaver camp name if you want
  1125.
1126. Claudius Silvanus: MVP is 10 XP, right?
  1127.
  1128. GM (GM): Yep.
  1129.
1130. Martin Baron: It was fun. And humiliating.
  1131.
1132. GM (GM): Who wants it.
  1133.
  1134. Martin Baron: CLAUD
  1135.
1136. Cas Hutson: It's alright. It was fun this session though!
  1137. Claud!
  1138.
1139. Claudius Silvanus: Yeah I'll take it I guess. Although it's such a shitty way of getting it
  1140.
1141. Clayton R.: ye. You didn't even punch I-man to death
  1142.
1143. Martin Baron: You saved half of the group from dying, I think that's worth MvP
  1144. *present group
  1145.
  1146. GM (GM): True.
1147. But cas did most of the combat.
  1148. Kinda.
  1149.
1150. Martin Baron: Anyway, slave camp names. What about a cathedral? Like "St. Dunnigan Cathedral"?
  1151.
1152. GM (GM): Okay, +10xp to moose for saving the bacon.
1153. I think maybe something like shortening it to St. Dunn sounds more criminal like.
1154. Unless it's run by some sort of crazy pope impersonator.
  1155.
1156. Claudius Silvanus: WORSHIP THE BOMB!
  1157. The ZERO BOMB!
  1158.
1159. Martin Baron: St. Dunn Cathedral
  1160.
1161. Claudius Silvanus: Like in Wasteland
  1162.
1163. GM (GM): SDC, I like it.
1164. Alright, I've got to get going.
  1165.
1166. Martin Baron: There's a hidden basement for when Topsiders look around
  1167.
1168. Claudius Silvanus: Man... it's kinda funny
  1169.
1170. GM (GM): Good job today! Lets have the next session at the regular time, okay?
  1171.
1172. Claudius Silvanus: Everett managed to avoid death
  1173. Sure
  1174.
  1175. Cas Hutson: Alrighty.
  1176.
1177. Martin Baron: Sounds great, thanks for setting this up
  1178.
1179. GM (GM): Avoiding death takes alot of effort.
  1180.
1181. Martin Baron: That man really had a mean aim with that knife
  1182.
1183. GM (GM): Sure, this was all actually on the fly.
