Catastrophic Events

"RUN, YOU IDIOTS!"

Durost the dwarf sprints fast as his legs could take him, yet still he lags behind the human wizard running faster than air elementals. They had already gotten the elven druid, overwhelmed her and clawed her to death. The angry hissing and meowing closed in on the dwarf, who looked back to witness a horrific flood of murderous cats, covered in gore, all gunning for him.
"I swear to Anvrock Charles, if you leave me behind!"
Charles merely hitches up in his robes and runs faster.

Durost trips over debris as he curses at the fleeing wizard, making him drop headfirst into the cobblestone road. He reaches a pleading hand out to the retreating form as his vision fills with tooth, claw and fur.
