We had about 15 people today. No one was there when we started, so we began DPSing the kraken. Eventually, about 20 pirates and 5 west galleons showed up. The pirates used Ezra's galleon, which was is pretty beefy. Ions was on the one legendary cannon, and we just started tearing them up.

In an effort to keep people positive, we started keeping score. To add some fun, we also started announcing in /shout (in nuian). Vengeance Crew 5 - West 0. When people started being salty, I explained why we were doing it and that the score will reset to zero once they destroy the Vengeance or the Reprisal.

One other funny note was the Enoan Galleon being back out. My god man, just seeing that beast lumbering along makes me smile. It's so damn slow and turns so horribly that we sank it a couple times, but I almost felt bad, because Seriously, (perrywinkle) the guy that was driving it, was having fun with it as well.

Anyway, our tally of enemy ships destroyed went up to: Vengeance 9 - West 0. At which point, the pirates left for MM (Maybe some west did, too) and the rest of the western galleons either hid up north or just stopped coming down. This was an hour and 20 minutes into the event, so we started DPSing the kraken again. (earlier, we tried letting the west dps the kraken down, but they couldn't/wouldn't, even tho we stayed away. The pirates were kicking their asses tho)

We got the kraken down to 20% when MM ended, and rolan and gank bus came zipping down. Of course, they kraken speared me off the wheel and killed me, and then kraken speared off Angrif, then Caedon, as they jumped on and tried driving the vengeance back to the nui shrine.

They dpsed the kraken fast and started channeling. I got the vengeance up as soon as it was repaired and we only had 3 mins left to do the guard stone. Cute and Rolan were at West, we tried to shroudlight and head north, but rolan followed us. We doubled back and started getting some shots on the cannon, but 2 ships blocking our shots and maybe one person healing the stone (we were out dpsing the healing, but kept getting blocked). Eventually, they caught us and kraken speared me off the wheel again and won.

When the vengeance was finally blown up by them and fully repaired, it was at the 8 minute mark. We headed back in and chased some of them off the island. Got in some running battles, but with only 14 of us at this point (no other greens in sight, tt6 didn't show up again. Angrif asked, but they said they felt it was too late. They did take down anth tho, which is awesome.), we couldn't clear the island. So we just mined and got back on the ship.

We sank more ships and got in more running battles, but eventually were zerged by a bunch of GBA with dolphins and kraken speared again and lost the ship.

When it was back up, there was only one crystal left. As we prepared to make an actual push to the island, the last crystal despawned. We chased off the remaining ships, cleared the island, then went back and made our packs without issue and turned them in for 130% at solis. The End.

Everyone was in good spirits, mostly. Crew did well. That legendary cannon makes a HUGE difference. I need to get a couple more.
