Elven Military Heirarchy

* Army of Might ("Ahk'Velahr")

The Ahk'Velarhn ("soldiers") of the Ahk'Velahr are made up of combination of volunteers, militia conscripts and foriegn auxillaries. The largest unit is the Army/Host, made up of multiple sub-divisions; The smallest unit is the Section, consisting of up to a hundred soldiers.

The Commander ("Kano") is in charge of all Hosts in a province, and acts as that provinces highest military commander.

* Army of Art ("Ahk'Faer")

The Ahk'Faer, the Elven military's arcane division, numbers exactly 512 Ahk'Faern ("mages"), not including officers. The overall commander of the Army of Art, who answers directly to the emperor, bears the title Spell-Major. Below him are the two Spell-Captains, and then the lower ranks.
