  1. Most Valuable Gaming (MVG) was launched in 2014 to provide an environment that we believed would encompass a gaming enterprise for the masses. Something we all would want to have – for recreation and competition alike, healthier both financially and physically, with the structure and stability of a major corporation. Since our inception, MVG has been committed to respecting the community of gamers with which we deal. Sometimes this has worked to our benefit; other times, to our detriment. However, despite past adversity, we have always strived to start on the right note. This is one of the many reasons why we are responding directly to the community - to show our fellow community members that we believe in dealing fairly and transparently.
  2.
  3. MVG has made substantial investments in developing relationships with tournament organizations/organizers in many areas all across the country. We maintain this practice because we believe in unbiased organic growth for Smash communities. We practice an inclusive model of development thereby lending our resources to the organizations local to our events. We are not involved in any illegal activity. A simple conversation with any local organizers would help shed light on how simple that process truly is. In rare cases, this does not work out. This is the nature of the business we provide.

  5. Throughout the process, claims have been made. We would like to address them.
  6.
  7. We have taken notice to a Sponsorship Proposal draft that has been released unbeknownst to our organization. We will be investigating this matter in the near future. In regard, there were inaccuracies in this particular proposal deck that was sent for review to Twitch. The preliminary information was sent to individuals at Twitch and the deck was not completed or fully vetted. It was provided for consideration and response, not for an official request or any monetary transactions. It has since been updated to reflect current talent on our roster, demographics, and appropriate numbers for streaming and social media. This document was simply a draft, not meant to be distributed in the state with which it was presented in the allegations against MVG. One of the key inaccuracies came from a demographic regarding the numbers of viewers that were attributed to Jason “Mew2King” Zimmerman. To clarify, these numbers belong to the talent (Mew2King ). Twitch provides a metric called “Total Views”, which records the number of instances in which any individual has “viewed” a channel overall. This number does not reflect the number of live viewers. A simple edit from “viewers” to “views” would have sufficed, and is clearly reflected in other drafts. There is no intent to deceive, and this particular proposal was in no state to be distributed.

  13. About The Management Group
  14. Gregory Mondesir and some of his affiliates are entrepreneurs, just as much as gaming fanatics. It is very common to find that entrepreneurs own businesses. Mr. Mondesir is no different. Furthermore, Gregory Mondesir is a finance professional with over 10 years of experience, so having financial expertise and an interest in business is no surprise. Convenient for operation, it is not too uncommon for Mr. Mondesir to confirm a large Prize Pool for larger tournaments.

  16. MVG Sandstorm
  17.
  18. MVG's first major event, was mired with internet and streaming issues. Since then, we have completely overhauled our technical team, and changed that part of our operation and those aspects of the events are running extremely well. Some of the younger tournament organizers (TOs) that we have worked with may not have had the experience as other major TOs but we enjoy working with them and developing their event and skill-sets by finding deficiencies and improving them. We too had to learn to do this. This is why MVG exists. Bringing events and opportunities to regions like Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and other areas that want, but do not have the major support that others places do.
  19.
  20. Streaming Services
  21. We currently offer streaming services and other media-related assistance to any and all TOs. We also make a distinct effort to provide our services to locations that otherwise would not have the same resources as other major organizations.
  22.
  23. EMP Address
  24. Empire Arcadia Inc. owns the EMP brand. Empire Arcadia LLC does not. Empire Arcadia LLC is now a defunct company. We have no information nor interest in knowing the fate of Empire Arcadia, Inc. We do not work with any of the officers of Empire Arcadia, Inc. and have no plans to do so at any point in time.
  25.
  26. VxG
  27. MVG has never had any official involvement with VxG. During the time in which VxG was under allegation for owing funds to players, MVG was not in existence. However, MVG has reached out to VxG directly in the past in order to bring justice to a fellow player who had been requesting funds from VxG for several years. The only instance in which VxG and MVG can be mentioned together in a statement is when one of our players asked us to reach out to VxG to recoup tournament winnings which were not paid to them by VxG for several years prior to the player requesting us to do so.
  28.
  29. Secure Online Transactions
  30. Further with regards to our alleged use of insecure online processing. MVG utilizes Stripe for online transactions. Stripe is used for processing online transactions by more than 67% of all major gaming event organizations around the world. The allegation that we have violated PCI (payment card industry) regulations is completely false, and we are fully in compliance with the standards required, including but not limited to: SSL certification on our official site, every transaction being placed through https protocol, et cetera. Anyone who is interested in further information may refer to the PCI Security Standards Council's extensive information and guidance on the subject.
  31.
  32. MVG denies any and all involvement in illegal activities. At MVG, the motto is inclusion. We intend to work with TOs and gamers around the globe, and our track record has and continues to prove this fact. We provide financial, developmental and organizational support to many organizations, even those outside of MVG, whether it is in Nebraska, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Mexico or wherever we see a need. We do this to improve the Smash community as a whole, and will keep our doors open to talent and potential consistently.
  33.
  34. Players and members of the Smash Community, we encourage all of you to first verify all claims made against organizations, especially those which do not provide proper evidence from a reputable third party or source. Otherwise, those who seek to use deception and negativity would simply continue to flourish.
  35.
  36. We will continue to work with gamers and partners to improve our communities by staying steadfast with our mission: Encouraging players, TOs, content creators, volunteers, Artists, Designers, Programmers and other talent to Find Your Place. And continue to provide an environment for both recreational gaming and the professional pursuit of competitive gaming as a career. Through training and development programs, a healthier lifestyle and community outreach, we hope to cultivate future gamers, architects and social engineers and talent of any form in academic pursuits within the unified and professional gaming atmosphere.
