It could show someone what they would have to built to make it work, though. Using those shoggoth-things that they're so fond of and his own AT Field, he could pull their minds along with him.

[2011-10-13 19::26:37] Doink: It doesn't understand the question. 'Opinion' is a concept it doesn't quite understand. The Crawling Chaos is, and always has been. And occasionally erases beings from existence. It certainly plans to stay near Mia, though. She's never implied erasure for disobedience.

Since it can't exactly debase itself any more than it has already- not that it wouldn't do whatever Mia requested of it- that it will do what it can to do as you've requested. It requests someone with the proper occult and scientific knowledge be brought to it to... 'explain' things to.

Down in one of the massive chambers in which the Science team does their work, a series of cradles have been erected to hold the Evangelions, reclining backwards in a rough semicircle, thick bundles of cabling running from them across the metallic floor to a makeshift control shed hooked up neaby.
[2011-10-13 20::17:45] Doink: In the center is what looks like an entry plug. In fact, it is an entry plug, retrofitted into some kind of base.

[2011-10-13 20::26:32] Doink: A group of technicians in very heavy-looking shielded suits wheel a huge metal container out of another elevator. You can /feel/ its presence without even having to see it as they take it over towards a small raised platform just ahead of the central plug. If you look closely, you see that many of the engraved symbols in the floor center on its position.
[2011-10-13 20::28:11] Doink: "Please enter your entry plugs," a voice says over a loudspeaker, "and prepare for syncronization. When ready, please indicate so over your comms."

[2011-10-13 20::31:08] Doink: There's a louder hum. A glow begins to emanate from within the box.
[2011-10-13 20::32:04] Doink: Then, without warning, writing, spectral tendrils shoot out from its confines. Four of them, centered on each of the Evas and the small plug in the center.
[2011-10-13 20::32:48] Doink: They don't impact with them, but /pierce/ them, causing the Evangelions to spasm against their restraints.
[2011-10-13 20::34:25] Doink: A spectral figure begins to rise up from it, filling the air inside even this cavernous space, all wrinkled flesh and slime and brine and writhing tentacles, a pair of massive leathery wings seeming to unfurl behind its massive girth.
[2011-10-13 20::34:45] Doink: FINALLY, it seems to say.
[2011-10-13 20::36:08] Doink: YOUR... FIELDS. GIVE THEM TO ME.
[2011-10-13 20::38:10] Henri_DEllaine: extends his AT field out, offering it up to the being.
[2011-10-13 20::38:11] Dmitriy_Platonov: has a bad feeling about it. And about the all damned LCL around him.

[2011-10-13 20::43:09] Mia_al-Misiri: does so too. It feels odd to her, she's more used to taking them from others than giving her own away.
[2011-10-13 20::43:48] Doink: You can feel its tendrils pulling away your fields into its own, a cold, slimy sensation overwhelming your plug. The LCL turns cold, and tastes salty in your mouth.
[2011-10-13 20::44:19] Dmitriy_Platonov: has nothing to offer and is panicking very silently.
[2011-10-13 20::46:16] Doink: Then his own field expands, a massive, multifaceted form that wraps its way around the cluster of Evas, It lets out a cry that seems to shake the Geofront itself. Your entry plugs are full of seawater. You're drowning. There are no walls. No floor. No chair. Just the endless crushing deep.
