1. Obey (and respect) the moderators. This includes following the rules, not arguing with the mods, and letting the moderators do the moderating.

2. If you're offering criticism, be formal and to the point. Anything that can be interpreted as aggressive will be taken as such, on both sides, and that causes problems.

3. Homestuck OCs and non-fandom OCs only. (i.e. no canon Homestuck characters, no Undertale OCs, no Steven Universe OCs, etc.)

4. Sexually explicit RP belongs in the NSFW room as this chat must remain SFW at ALL TIMES. If you have smut, send it to the NSFW room  Additionally, OOC NSFW discussion must be under spoilers.
- 4.1 Vore does not count as NSFW unless it's for the explicit purpose of achieving sexual pleasure, in which case, move to the NSFW room or place it under spoilers.
- 4.2 If you are in the NSFW room, all characters and personages in the room MUST be 18 or older, NO EXCEPTIONS

5. This is a script-style chat. Long messages are fine but they have to be formatted appropriately.

6. Behave with common sense (ie. No spamming, insulting OOC, etc)

7. Do not force other characters to do what they don't want. We all have freedom, but don't take that away from anybody. This includes forcing RP.
- 7.1. Do not force your ships or headcanons onto other people, and do not berate or insult someone for having a particular ship or headcanon.

8. You must have read homestuck

9. OCs may have connections with canon characters from Homestuck. However, do not deliberately spoil anything from the comic, as not everybody has read it entirely.

10. Speaking in OOC, you must have double parenthesis, ((, or something else like [[ or //. Keep in mind, excessive OOC is forbidden

11. Omniscient characters are welcome, but don't overdo it

12. Instead of the two letter acronym, write your character's first name. Ex: Instead of goldenDancer [GD], replace with goldenDancer [ALEX]
It is required to be all caps, just so everything is uniform.

13. Please keep your color a darker shade, as not everybody is able to read lightly colored texts.

14. Any OC caught deliberately copying another Troll's quirk (including canon characters) will be asked to change it. If refused, you will be silenced.
- 14.1. Having a readable quirk is a requirement, if people can't read what you're writing the rp is impossible. You'll be asked to change it and if you don't, the same rules apply as the "copying quirk" rule.

15: Intentional racism and sexism (and similar language) is an instant ban. No exceptions.

16: No lusii in the hive, unless they're small

17: Nilana does what she wants, when she wants, within reason. Let her know if she goes overboard

18: Smart Quirking is highly recommended, but not necessarily a requirement

19: Nobody gets their own hive because there's a perfectly good one right next to the beach

20: Keep your OC standards decent:
- 20.1: No child OCs. They must be no younger than the youngest canon character from Homestuck.
- 20.2: Black, white, grey, multicolored, and transparent are not blood colors
- 20.3: No joke characters, joke characters will be banned.

If you have any suggestions of things to be added to the rules, tell a Moderator.

If a moderator has a suggested rule, please seek confirmation from #1 before adding it to the rules

Feel free to ask to be a moderator, but all moderators must be approved by #1 because he's a control freak
