  3. [16:01] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 When last we left our group of wastelanders, they did some stuff. More specifically, they shut down the security at Littlehorn, and encountered the school's Headmatron, who briefly lost control when one of the ghoulified foals was harmed. She has risen, but within control of her senses, and has just broken down after the revelation of everything that happened from Keen.
  4. 07[16:06] * +Primer frets as she is hugging Fire_Lily. She wanted to hug Nova.
  5. [16:06] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova looks up, not being able to shed any tears in her current state; "So... what happens now?"
  6. 07[16:07] * +Fire_Lily is, at this point, very wary of this ghoul who had attacked Primer, and previously tried to prevent them from leaving this horrible, creepy place.

  9. 07[16:10] * @Wraith` could have sworn this happened before... then his mind blanks over and that deja vu moment is lost. He... persumably also carries out the ghoul foal execution plans.
  10. [16:13] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova nods to Wraith`; "Just... don't let me see it. The children deserve mercy after all this time, but.... with how I reacted before... I don't want to harm anyone else again."
  11. 15[16:14] * +Karina puts her sniper rifle away and follows Wraith` to carry out the execution plans.
  12. 07[16:15] * +Fire_Lily hugs Primer a little protectively at that. She won't let Nova even /touch/ Primer.
  13. [16:15] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova turns away and looks directly at Fire_Lily; "Hello little one. Did I... frighten you?"
  14. 07[16:16] * +Primer places a hoof on Fire_Lily's head. "Don't worry, she seems calm enough."
  15. 04[16:18] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova is noticably forcing herself not to pay attention to Wraith and Karina
  16. 07[16:18] * +Fire_Lily gives Nova a little, offended glare. She looks back to Primer briefly. "...Why wouldn't you just let us go?"
  17. [16:19] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova hangs her head; "I was... confused. I didn't want to admit to myself that I was too late. That I... that I c-couldn't save them."
  18. 07[16:21] * @Wraith` looks at Nova for a moment, nodding to the ghoul mare, then proceeds to find the ghoul foals, 'Butcher Pete' at the ready.
  19. 15[16:22] * +Karina follows Wraith` invisibly, pretty sure the ghoul foals were a floor below, one of them having fallen down the stairs rather humorously.
  20. 07[16:22] * +Primer runs her hoof through Fire_Lily's mane.
  21. 07[16:23] * +Fire_Lily isn't really sure how to respond to that. She /wants/ to blame the ghoul. Nova wasn't supposed to try and make her feel better!
  22. 04[16:23] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Wraith and Karina spot the trio of remaining ghoul foals at the midwell of the staircase, two of them staring curiously at the one who took a tumble, and is trying awkwardly to right herself.
  23. 07[16:30] * @Wraith` pauses when he spots the foals... so... tragically pathetic... would that be him? Would he be stumbling down stairs mindlessly? Closing his eyes in his thoat processing, he reopens them and goes down, going to that dark corner of his mind where he shoved empathy and emotion out. Do the job, deliver them from torment. Approaching the first foal, he raises his axe and brings
  24. 07[16:30] * @Wraith` it down to chop the foals head off, then moves on to the next two, attempting to do the same if successful with the first.
  25. 15[16:31] * +Karina grimaces as Wraith` goes about the deed and takes a few steps back and away from it. And no, he should know by now to not worry about that sort of fate. He'd be dead within hours of going feral at most.

  27. [16:34] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The foals don't react to Wraith`, even as he brings down t he axe. They don't even seem to recognize him as anything different from themselves until the last moment
  28. [16:36] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova frowns; "I... I'm sorry little one. I should jsut leave. I have condemned enough foals, today and by my mistakes in the past." She hangs her head and stands up, turnign away from Fire_Lily

  31. 07[16:40] * @Wraith` takes the axe and goes to wipe the... ichor... blood? Off on the corpse of the ghoul foals at first then stops. No... they were at one point just children. With ambitions, hopes, and dreams... Snuffed out as his generation failed to prevent such an atrocity from occuring. Wiping the blood off on himself on his right foreleg, he puts the axe away, then turns to go back and
  32. 07[16:40] * @Wraith` rejoin the rest of the group, his expression bearing a cold emotionless visage.
  33. 07[16:41] * +Fire_Lily decides that she will wait and see if Nova can prove to be a nice pony. She's not like Keen... she can't immediately assume everypony has a good side that can be brought out... But she won't condemn her either. "Just... Don't hurt her again."
  34. [16:41] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova stops and turns around, looking to Primer; "Then... what can I do? My students are all gone. There's nothing left for me."
  35. 07[16:42] * +Primer tilts her head. "There might be..."
  36. [16:42] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova looks Skeptical
  37. 15[16:43] * +Karina scrunches her nose up and turns to follow Wraith` back. Clearly she wasn't all that necessary after all.
  38. 07[16:43] * +Primer collects her thoughts for a moment or two. "Ever been in a Stable before?"
  39. [16:45] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova blinks; "A what?"

  41. 07[16:47] * +Primer clarifies. "A Stable, you know, those underground survival shelters... you're from the pre war days, you've got to know surely?"
  42. 07[16:48] * @Wraith` persumably at this point stands with Primer, Fire_Lily, and the rest. Raising a rotted eyebrow to Nova as he says in his masculine gravelled voice, "You... ain't ever heard of no stable before? They were big news back in the day."
  43. [16:48] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova shakes her head; "I know of nothing like that, at least beyond conventional bunkers used in fights to weather bombs and safehouse entrenched soldiers.

  45. 07[16:50] * @Wraith` blinks and then thinks about it for a moment saying, "Oh right... yeah... well.. umm... forgot... they made it after... what happened here... Especially since megaspells got big..."

  47. [16:56] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova just looks confused; "What is a Megaspell?"
  48. 07[16:57] * @Wraith` looks at Primer and says, "Yeah... once megaspells stopped healing things... we all wanted something to make us feel safe incase... well... this... happened." giving a sigh, he shakes his head, then looks over to Nova, speaking to the pink-cloudie ghoullette, "We gotta little place getting set up in an old Stable... think of it like a huge fail-safe safety bunker for
  49. 07[16:57] * @Wraith` civvies." hearing her question, he answers, "Spells on a very large scale. Imagine fireballs and make them like... big enough to destroy Manehatten."

  51. 07[16:59] * +Fire_Lily frowns a little. She doesn't know the specifics about this subject either... but at least she knows what a stable is, and what a megaspell is... She feels a little sorry for Nova. Only a little.

  60. 15[17:09] * +Karina blinks. A ghoul teacher... That was one thing... but... she just finished putting several bullets through this one's head... Because she was crazy...
  61. [17:11] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova looks curious now; "A teacher? But I... I could be a risk. What if I lose myself again?" She shuffles her hooves nervously

  71. [17:24] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova nods slowly; "I... perhaps. Tell me, did any of the other teachers survive, or am I alone? I had only just sent Professor Dinky Doo from my office after she brought those two... colts to me." She looks saddened as she thinks of their unfortunate fate.
  72. 07[17:25] * +Primer shakes her head. "I... don't think so... I'm sorry... just the feral children."

  74. 07[17:29] * +Primer lets go of Fire_Lily and wanders off towards Nova, laying a comforting foreleg around the ghoul's shoulders. It helped if she avoided looking at her face.
  75. [17:30] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova's face is a mess right now. She looks toward Fire_Lily; "What about you, little one? What is your name? Do you think there is anything I could teach you?"

  77. 07[17:36] * +Fire_Lily gives a hesitant look. "My name is Lily..." She gives it some thought. "Well... what did you teach here?"
  78. 07[17:39] * @TenMihara|GM nods; "Well... as Headmatron I did have to know all of the subjects we taught here, but... well, I suppose my magic is still pretty strong."
  79. 07[17:40] * +Fire_Lily seems a little interested. "What kind of magic?"

  81. [17:43] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova nods; "Well... I can do illusion, perception, incendiary and defensive spells.

  83. 04[17:48] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova looks up as Wraith` (and Karina, who she can't see) return. "Um... if the deed is done, could we perhaps leave this place? There are... too many old wounds. I am sure we can talk more about your ideas as we travel."
  84. 07[17:48] * +Fire_Lily is surprised. "Those... are what I know too! Except the second..."
  85. 07[17:50] * @Wraith` nods to Nova and replies, "Yes, it'd over." looking down for a moment, he then gets an idea and says, "Um... I... know another mare you might be interested in meeting... She's looking to fix the whole 'turning feral' problem."
  86. [17:54] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Nova blinks again; "Feral? Is that what you call... I see." She doesn't look like she appreciates that word being used to describe her former students. "Who is this pony? Is she another... like us?" Nova begins to drift towards the other stairwell, the one that had not been occupied by the foals Wraith` finished off
  87. 07[17:58] * @Wraith` follows, guess it was time to go, as he nods and replies, "Ghoul. Yeah, her name is Cure. She's..." the stallion smiles and actually adopts a fonder expression as he continues, "...great... a very good doctor too."
  88. 15[18:00] * +Karina gets back up and goes to follow them out.
