--posted in the thread, not on a permanent site, can be revisited by either archives or with screencaps; no point in copying other awards/sites when this is a special /vr/ thing. Will have awards mixed in with comments on awards as they are posted, including complaints and flames and trolls.
--posted with either a one-use trip, or a permanent Golden Boner presenting only trip; if one use can establish legitimacy if it becomes an issue by revealing last year's trip
--have editors/award authors but use feedback from /vr/ in choosing winners, maybe winners are entirely up to votes, maybe first edition is a surprise
--not limited to 4chan creations/projects
--more categories than Cacowards, less slots for maps themselves. For instance:
  ^5 slots for maps/map sets
  ^2 slots for gameplay awards
  ^3 slots for multiplayer awards
  ^niche stuff, for instance:
    --The "Tickled My Funny" Boner -- like a mockaward, but not focused on satire and is for humorous projects with sustained laughs
    --The Humerus Award -- for project with best pun/one off joke. Like Brutalist Doom
    --The Lewd Award -- prolly better name, but for best lewd work
    --The Spooky Award -- prolly better name,  for project that's most spooky
    --Surrealist Award -- prolly better name,  for most surreal project; Archie is prolly gonna win this one
    --NOTE: these are just samples/ideas more can be added whenever, and not all award slots have to be filled each year, it's really up to what /vr/ and editors/authors think is appropriate
