[18:09:34 PM] maaku: I'm cobbling together bylaws and incorporation documents; hopefully I can submit that by the end of the week

[18:16:02 PM] jtimon: although I still think it will be hard to give away grants without an exchange and without merchants

[18:17:04 PM] maaku: jtimon: yes, which makes my thinking that the initial grants should be small, just to get the process moving

[18:18:46 PM] maaku: this isn't going to answer your question, but "large enough to elicit proposals, but no larger"

[18:22:42 PM] maaku: it would be good actually to work with people to see what their expectations are
[18:23:24 PM] maaku: and if we want we can delay the decision until the first round of proposals are received, and then base a decision on that
[18:23:46 PM] maaku: as long as we initially set the expectation that the first few rounds will be small.
[18:24:19 PM] maaku: btw this hasn't come up, but I'm not worried about the hash rate at all
[18:24:43 PM] maaku: imho this is simply a combination of a lack of exchange and the skyrocketing btc price

[18:26:30 PM] jtimon: difficulty will lower "soon", judging from the last graph I saw, although I didn't counted the blocks, lazy me
