yeah whole second verse is one long sentence that actually overloaded my brain the first time i looked at it in like july or smth then i forgot about everything bc summer classes and here i am back at it again but i think it helps a lot more if i dont loop the song while translating the song (at least the first jpn-->eng run, bc then i get absorbed into random things)
降り出しそうな空で踊っている - furidashi actually means 'looks like its about to rain/snow' but 'DANCING ACROSS THIS SKY ON THE CUSP OF PRECIPITATION' doesnt sound nearly as nice so uH yeah
風になって駆け抜けていたいよ - kakenukerOOOOOOOO kakenukerOOO ERABARESHI MONO DAKE GA TE NI DEKIRUUUUUUU,,, that is not relevant, but ANYWays kakenukero means to rush out/tear through/run through (this is all in a running sense, like :^) Perhaps just like how momo and yuki are sprinting on the cover of their Silver Sky CD)... uH i dont have any excuse 4 the wind pun. just wanted smth that'd evoke a gust of wind blasting thru????
そしてSILVER SKY　曖昧な色　変えてゆけるのは / やっぱり思い合う心　それしかないんだ - lit. "The only things that can change this ambiguous color (into something else) are, as expected, two hearts in love. Only that." there's a missing particle btwn 'aimai na iro' and 'kaete yukeru no wa' that either i suck @ inferring or it's intentionally vague, bc the meaning changes a lot depending on whether ornot it's a を or に. went with the 'wo' alternative (the omoi au kokoro carrying out the action. if it was ni it'd be 'two hearts in love changing into an ambiguous color). but given the context of the song (overall kind of a moving forward feel, breaking free frm the past) i think the more 'forward-moving' one is appropriate here? Dude im rusty and its 5am
愛する気持ちをずっと　信じ続けたい - theres tnohting i wanted 2 point about this line wrt translation, just that this is personally? a line that really gives me feelings, esp abt part 2. like this is kind of a central thing in part 2... this whole song... dude
AH one last note, from the uH First set of Re:v cards (i forgot what they were called. Rehearsal??? Those.) i think that's where you find out they write their own lyrics. and from Part 2, those lyrics are about themselves, or at least very personal and about their own feelings. which is why i did a lot of the things i did in terms of pronouns etc, after taking into consideration re:v's narrative arc (pt.2, pre-debut, etc.)
