PArtiton table error

I am trying to allocate my hard disk with below set of partitions usign GPARTED.
/dev/sdb1 - 256 MB
/dev/sdb2 - 2048 MB
With free space preceding as (4 Mb) between partitions.
After applying the partition information  When i run FDISK -l. I get "Partition 2 does not end on cylinder boundary."

Why is that??
