Firstly, this plot lacks terrain and organics. I would let you off with the terrain if this design you made covered the whole plot but it's off by a few blocks! Why? D:

As this plot is mainly structure, I will judge it as only structure. I think the design you've given is okay, however it's quite basic. I like the palette, but the lapiz and redstone are a bit too contrasting. The texture of the redstone block is too much for the chiseled brick beside it. I think you could add a lot more detailing to the pillars, instead of having the basic stair design on the top and bottom. Try using upside down stairs/cobblestone walls and other stone based blocks in the design instead of only stairs in a circle!
I like the roof design, however. I think it's very interesting and shows a good pattern instead of just slabbing in a 'pyramid' shape!
