  1. My entire current e-mail system runs on the catch-all account. I has served me flawlessly for 15 years. I am moving away from my monster server and replacing it with the Pi. I have all of the websites moved over and working on Pancake and the next step was to get email moved over. My Pi: http://tafb.yi.org

  3. I read in another post, that due to security concerns, you never implemented a catch-all feature for Citadel. It will be absolutely impossible for me to use Citadel without it.

  5. How I've run my e-mail for 15 years on a catch-all account:
  6.
  7. When setting up a new account on some website, forum, etc. I use their company name or domain name as my e-mail address, for example, for this forum I used [email protected] and voila, I get e-mail from here automatically because I use a catch all account. I've done it this way for 15 years so you can imagine there's 1000's of e-mail addresses I've given out, that of course I have no record of and don't know about (unless they e-mail me on a regular basis of course).

  9. The reason I did it this was was because of spam. If I start getting spam on [email protected] I know you've either sold my e-mail address or your system has been compromised. I simply sign in to the companies website (in this case citadel.org), change the e-mail address to [email protected] and then create a new account on my e-mail server called [email protected] and set it to disabled, so it now rejects all mail coming in for [email protected]

  11. This has worked flawless for me for 15 years. Absolutely ZERO spam problems running ZERO spam filters. Please implement the catch-all feature or I will be unable to use Citadel :( How could I possibly create accounts for the thousands of e-mail addresses I've given out (most of which I don't know), then setup ALL of those accounts in my Outlook, instead of just one account? Imagine my outlook checking 1000 pop3 accounts on Citadel every 60 seconds! lol
