Part 7: The Man of Steel Ball Run

The Man of Steel Ball Run has seen some of the most dramatic alterations out of any part since its initial brainstorming phases. It is currently a very loose parody of Wacky Races.

As of now, characters from any /co/ related medium are allowed. Keeping in line with the theme, this is to show how each medium's identity is shifted under a different context; it's analogous to losing yourself in a crowd. Capes are only used as an ideal (either to aspire towards or shun). Superman as the corpse is a stand-in for everyone that has a larger than life legacy and hundreds of works across different mediums dedicated solely to them. Keeping this in mind, here are some things to consider when making a suggestion:


- The main character should not be the star of their own comic or show. Part of their journey should lie in the weight of their small identity vs that of Superman, the penultimate hero.
- Main characters should ideally be lesser-known in general or a subversion of the hero stereotype. If someone has a mountain of fiction dedicated to them they should be racing fodder at best.

There are two macguffins in this race: the Wishing Star and Superman's corpse.

Mr. Nobody plans to assemble Superman's body, not to use its power, but to Paint it Black. He wants to remove the mythos and ideal of being a hero altogether.
