  1. I was so excited, I was getting my first game. Being only 6, I imagined this to change my life. I had gotten Pokemon Red for my GameBoy, and I was ecstatic to have my first game. When I go to home, I instantly played it. I had done so for days, being the first thing I would do when I got home. I had beaten the game within two days, and then I always went on to catch all the Pokemon. Each time I did so, I would restart my game. As I grew up, I started getting bored of this cycle and played different games. But there was one place that made me always go back to Pokemon Red. That had been Lavender Town. I liked the place a lot, the theme was good enough for me and I had always gone to the Pokemon Tower each time I restarted. I never thought any place could mean more to me than my own home, and it had always appeared this way.
  2. As I grew up and went further through my grades, I had kept buying the Pokemon games. Of course, I was disappointed when I got past Johto in my Crystal version. Apparently they had gotten rid of Lavender Town's tower, and replaced it with a radio one. I was disappointed, and went back to Red in Lavender Town. It seemed this way for a long time, me just going back to Lavender Town, the only place I had ever seemed to be happy in on a video game. People called it strange for me to like this place, but I was interested in many things. I had gotten into studying the supernatural a little further on after that, and it seemed to work out for me. At least that was what I thought.
  3. I had just turned 21, and my friend was over. I wasn't that much of a person who would want to get into liquor and alcohol. But he always bugged me, saying how great it was and what it was like to be drunk. He wouldn't leave me alone about it, and when I told him I refused to, he left to go to the bar. Later that night when he came back, he was drunk. He was pushing me around and screwing with everything. After I told him to stop, he grabbed my carton of games. The one he specifically took out was Pokemon Red. He was about to snap it in half before I tackled him down, making him throw the game back into the pile. After that, I yelled at him to get out and I told him I wished he was dead and out of my life. I popped in my Red to my old GameBoy, and went to Lavender Town, before I fell asleep crying to myself. It seemed my wish had come true later on that morning.
  4. I had woken up to a call that morning from the cops and hospital. Apparently my friend, who's name was Richard, had died earlier that morning, from lack of breath and puking problems. They hadn't figured anything else how it happened, but they assumed it was from the intoxication of the alcohol. I went with that too, for a while only. Later that week, me and my girlfriend were shopping. I wanted to go see my family, so I had asked her if we could use some money so I could do that. We argued of course, then she told me with all we used up I could only go alone. I had told her that was okay, but we ended up arguing even more. I told her I wished I could be left alone for once in my life, and then we left and went back home. I sat alone in my room, and played Pokemon Red again, before going to Lavender Town and siting there for what seemed like countless hours, before I managed to finally fall asleep. That morning, she had left me, and took my pet, who I had just bought for us a week ago. She told me she had never loved me and why she ever bothered. I was so disappointed, it seemed like nothing could ever go right for me.
  5. I played Pokemon Red for a week, not going to work, always calling in sick, and was tired of my seemingly pointless life. As I went to bed last night, I wished I could be away from this cruel world for awhile. I had woken up in what had been a perfect world. My girlfriend came back, and my friend, Richard, was there, saying that it was a prank that he past away. I was very happy, but suspicious things seemed to happen. There was this man in lavender clothing , who always seemed to follow me wherever I went. I never questioned him, and even if I tried to approach him, he would run and I would lose him somewhere in his tracks, before I would be interrupted. It seemed like he was planning something, but I could never figure it out. After what had been a day before a year passed, everything went topsy-turvy. Everything was against me, my girlfriend was chasing me because I refused to give her a load of money for a necklace, Richard was drunk all over and trying to kill me because I for the twentieth or so time told him I refused to drink. And there was that man, who seemed to have wanted me gone the most. I managed to get in a cellar and lock myself in there that night, praying that I could leave that place.
  6. I woke up in the hospital, attached to a machine and in hospital clothing. My family was there, excited to see me for once in their lives. Apparently, as I was told, had been in a coma for a whole year, in which I always seemed to be happy until yesterday. The thing that threw me off the most was what my brother had told me. When they came one day, a man cloaked in lavender was in the room, in which he snapped my Pokemon Red in half and left a CD with the Lavender Town theme recorded on it. When they talked to him, he had said one thing: "Do not take your wishes in granted, unless you fear end up like him." As I looked out the door, he sat on the ledge off the door, holding a knife. He wiped off some blood as if he finished something gruesome, before pointing at me and mouthing a few words. "Do not be fooled into this again, lest you be like the others." A newspaper was aside me, and it was people that had died in the last month, all the same age as me, who had been owners of Pokemon Red. I realized that whoever was in cloaked in that lavender clothing was not a normal human, and that I had been one of the lucky ones to have lived.
