  1. Like it's customary of these type of messages, I will start by saying I am a fans of your work. The key difference with the custom is that I'm being honest about it, not trying to create a bond to make you put your guard down. I watch your show on weekly basis and I love it, so I just wanted to let you know that all I am about to say comes from good faith.
  2.
  3. With that out of way, try not to let your guard down.
  4.
  5. The topic I am going to write about is "that one hashtag". To be more specific, your reactions to the certain topics regarding that hashtag. I will not question the side you have joined because (A) it's pretty obvious you have experienced THE WORST AND MOST TOXIC side of GG first-handed (B) you gained new allies in people that used to hate you but hate GG even more [like Neogaf] (C) you are entitled to an opinion.
  6.
  7. However, there were times when you said things that were pretty asinine, and that's worries me. You seem to have a double standard when topics like these arise... and you are too smart for that. Your whole charm is being a reflective person, so seeing you doing mental gymnastic to protect people and/or causes without any substantial logic is really off-putting.
  8.
  9. You just got accused by a random GG-er of being a dehumanizer. While your main reply was that you don't care (not a very good answer to be honest), the whole sentence showed us that your main answer was going to include the idea that "the threats themselves were harmless". And that's ... a pretty dumb argument, AND YOU KNOW IT. Virtually all online-threats only are stupid, lame people typing together bullshit with their keyboards under the veil of anonymity. That doesn't make them any less worrying.
  10.
  11. The same goes for cases like the GTA ban in Australia or the Batgirl cover "change". You used ideas that worked on flimsy bases and ignored the arguments that clearly contradicted them.
  12.
  13. (A) Even if it was just a single store, GTA was made less accessible by people who wanted to discourage the sale of the game. Sure, it was not a great catastrophe, but it leaves an ugly precendent. Let's try to imagine it like this: if one store banned SaintsRow4 because you can have homosexual relationships, wouldn't you be worried? I know I would.
  14. (B) The batgirl cover was an <<optional>> edition that was removed. Even if it was an internal decision by DC, it was done under a lot of external pressure, and the result is that people got LESS products. At first there were 2 covers, in the end there was just 1 cover. "<X>s are not out to take our <Y>s", except when they do.
  15.
  16. I posted this on your Ask.fm, so I guess I should make a question. Do you still stand by what you said on your episodes? In case you do, do you think there is no value to anything I posted here? Somewhat unrelated, what do you think of the anti-GG side that despise people like TotalBuiscuits? Are you comfortable with that?
  17.
  18. Anyways, that's about it. Thanks for reading. In case you did, thanks god for you.
  19.
  20. Yours faithfully.
