Kamui: Shigure, are you drawing again?
Shigure: Oh, Father… I’m sorry, we’re in the middle of a war, but I’m spending my time drawing…
Kamui: Oh, no, I’m not trying to criticize you for it. I’m sure that if times were better, you’d have made a name for yourself in the art world.
Shigure: Hahaha. It’s a little embarrassing to think about… but I’m glad you think that way.
Kamui:  I mean… Just by looking at your paintings, I can tell that they deserve so much more, and I wish there was a way for more people to be able to see them.
Shigure: Father…
Kamui: …Oh, that’s right. What about holding an exhibition?
Shigure: An e-exhibition?! I-I can’t do that! We’re always on the move, and the preparations would be such a big hassle!
Kamui: Oh, you’re making too much of a fuss over this. Just have a tent ready, and we’ll announce it to everyone in the army and the people living in the area.
 Shigure: B-But wouldn’t it be too self-centered to keep a tent just for my art…?
Kamui: Not at all. Everyone’s exhausted, so I’m sure some down-time will be good for them.
Shigure: Father...
Kamui: Well, I won’t force you if you don’t want to… but how about it?
Shigure: …I understand. I’ll hold an exhibition for my art. I’m a little nervous, but… is it all right?
Kamui: of course it is! You’re my son, and you’re very important to me. All right… Now that you’ve made up your mind, let’s get started. First, let’s find out if we can make this work.

Kamui: Hello, Shigure.
Shigure: Erm… Um… Thank you very much for letting me hold an exhibition for my art.
Kamui: Don’t thank me, thank everyone that gave the okay. They’re all very eager to see your work.
Shigure: R-Right…
Kamui: Haha, Shigure, are you nervous?
Shigure: Yes… Of course I’m nervous, but I also think that one of my newer pieces didn’t come out as well as I’d hoped…
Kamui: Ah, that one you were preparing just for the event, right? Hmm… The day of the exhibition is coming up soon, and if it’s that rough on you, you don’t have to force yourself to finish it by then.
Shigure: No… I need to finish it, no matter what. We’re finally giving everyone a chance to see my art, and I want to be able to express every inch of what I’m feeling.
Kamui: R-Really, then. But remember, if you overwork yourself, then you’ll have completely missed the point.
Shigure: Yes, thank you, Father. Well… I’m off to continue working.
Kamui: Oh, right…
Kamui: I wonder what his new piece is? I’m rather interested…

Kamui: Shigure, what’s wrong? Why so out of breath? Did you just get here? The exhibition’s already started. How is it supposed to go on when its host is late?
Shigure: S-Sorry, Father… I spent the entire night finishing this painting…
Kamui: Huh?! The one you were talking about?
Shigure: Y-Yes…
Kamui: And you spent all night doing it… Don’t force yourself, all right? Even without you finishing it, there are plenty of other wonderful paintings for them to see. Here, look, everybody’s smiling when they look at your artwork.
Shigure: I-I can see that… But… I just had to finish this… because I wanted to thank you.
Kamui: Huh…? It’s a picture of… me and Aqua…?
Shigure: Yes, I just had to finish this portrait of you two.
Kamui: Y-You’ve been drawing this the whole time…?
Shigure: Yes… You’re the people who I love and respect the most in the entire world… If you two hadn’t been here, then I wouldn’t have even been born…  I had to finish this painting. I had to finish it and fill it with all of the gratitude I’ve ever had.
Kamui: Shigure… Thank you. Shigure, I’m so… so…!
Shigure: F-Father… It hurts a little bit when you hug me that tightly… Ahahaha.
Kamui: Shigure, I’m so proud to have a son as wonderful as you.
Shigure: And I’m proud as well. I’m so, so proud to be your child.
Kamui: Yes… Oh! We can’t waste any more time here. We have to put up your new painting so everyone can see it!
Shigure: O-Ohh… That’ll be a little embarrassing.
Kamui: Ahaha, perhaps for me as well, but we’re going to make this the number one attraction at this exhibition!
