In this 30 minute talk we will look into the next 5-10 years of Bitcoin. In
1994, when the web was the same age as Bitcoin is now, it was seen as being
only about documents - but within a few years the concept of the web app
had arrived. In the same way, Bitcoin will evolve beyond simple 1-1
payments and into the world of assurance contracts, micropayments, smart
property and more. After introducing these ideas I will show how we can use
them to take Bitcoin beyond simple routing of payments by building
peer-to-peer lending, investment and exchange infrastructures.
