  1.
  2. (Glomdoring): Eliron (from the Ethereal Plane) says, "Queen Maeve is showing some distress, and the Silver Goddess and the Serenwilde have gathered around her."
  3. ?:-
  4. You draw the Fingerblade of dha'Wyrden-cree across the inside of your wrist, causing a line of blood to well up. You then lift the blade into the air, as shadows spill out of the wet crimson tip, swarming around you and taking you to the Realm of Shadows.
  5. ?:-
  6. A delightful raised terrace.
  7. The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. A light cover of clouds hides the sky in a sheet of white. A silver rose bush grows here, filling the air with a marvelous fragrance. Letting her hair fall freely, a royal knight of Faethorn stands here, lacking the customary helmet.
  8. A hemlock sapling clings tenaciously to the ground here.
  9. You see exits leading northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest.

  11.
  12. I go to Maeve throneroom.
  13. _______________________________________________________
  14. The Queen's Throneroom.
  15. Silvery moonlight sparkles in the air. A strong breeze whistles over the ground. Laeroc stands here, a determined look set on his features. The Queen of the Fae casually fills the room with her presence. Yipping playfully as he hops back and forth, Arco, the Hound of Papaxi, is here, his dark fur shimmering with an ethereal light. A black and silver gray wolf pads around the area, shimmering wings flapping gently. Thick, coiling tail wound in and around itself, a terrifying basilisk spits in warning. Duchess Lyora Shee-Slaugh, Celebrant of the Scorpion is here. She wields a nightmarish nekai of morbid oddity in each hand. A statuesque, urn-bearing ice nymph drifts here, fierce countenance alertly scanning the area. Aleyah frowns deeply, lines creasing her forehead. She wields a diamond and onyx violin in her left hand. Lisaera, the Silver Goddess stands before you, Her form wreathed by cold moonfire. Lord Eliron Shee-Slaugh, Song of the Wyrd stands here, the air around him filled with an ominous ticking noise. He wields a jewelled viola of the setting sun in his left hand and the Baton of the Dark Heart in his right. Kethaera An'Ryshe is here. She wields a harmonious airy crystal lyre in her left hand and a winged faeling greatshield in her right. Gabriella Talnara, Blossoming Hope is here. Garbed in a shroud of shifting moonfire, a Ward of the Silver Trinity
  16. stands guard, eyes blackened with storm clouds.
  17. You see a single exit leading down.
  18. Hinagar growls menacingly at you.
  19. Hinagar says, "I smell filth."

  22. Who? We cannot see you."
  23. ?:-
  24. Sharply, Her eyes narrowed, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says to Hinagar, "Be still."

  75. ?:-
  76. Shadows grow longer in anticipation for the return of their dark mistress as Father Sun's chase brings him closer to the world's edge.

  102. ?:-
  103. A steady rain begins to fall in the Faethorn Realm, slow and sad. It melts from the sky like dripping paint and where you should hear it patter against treetops, you hear the soft voices of the fae crying instead.

  120. ?:-
  121. You tell Khan Jaamil, "Was hinagar a pet or something?"

  173. ?:-
  174. Aleyah puts her bow to her violin, easing a low, mournful tune from the instrument. She sings, softly. "At midnight's toll, the Shadow is crossed..."
  175. ?:-
  176. Arien jerks forward just as the air comes alive with swirling, multicoloured light.
  177. ?:-
  178. With a flourish of his arm, Eldarius bows deeply.
  179. ?:-
  180. Aleyah raises her voice in song at Arien.
  181. ?:-
  182. Aleyah peers about herself unscrupulously.
  183. ?:-
  184. Eldarius humbly drops one knee to the ground before Lisaera, genuflecting reverently in Her presence.
  185. ?:-
  186. Gabriella Talnara glances at Eldarius, putting a finger to her lips for silence
  187. ?:-
  188. Louder, Her voice like a low rumbling of soothing thunder, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "It is merely Me, child. My Maeve. My darling."
  189. Laeroc, the Queen's Consort whispers into Lisaera's ear.
  190. ?:-
  191. Aleyah continues, the tune lightening into something speculative. "A new world is birthed, the elder is lost;".
  192. ?:-
  193. Eliron Shee-Slaugh adds the deeper sounds of his viola to Aleyah's violin, the even sounds supporting the song and twining around the mournful notes, liftening them up and subtly altering them
  194. ?:-
  195. Queen Maeve of the Fae whispers to herself and lifts a hand in front of her face, examining it intently.
  196. ?:-

  204. ...may we please sleep? May we please be...be nothing again?"
  205. ?:-
  206. Lisaera pauses abruptly, as if She were made entirely of stone. Her storm-coloured eyes drain to white and She stares, for several heartbeats, at the Maeve.
  207. ?:-
  208. Aleyah smiles faintly to herself, closing her eyes, the music she plays wistful and childlike in wonder. "And on the morning we wake up to find, that memories linger yet, if far behind."
  209. ?:-
  210. Kraai's fingertips begin gently brushing along the gleaming lyre in her grasp and a glittering yet soft sound stirs beneath Eliron's lead, offering a contrast to the deep sounds to his viola.
  211. ?:-
  212. Kethaera takes up her lyre with both hands, strumming a few somber notes to add to the song in soft undertones.
  213. ?:-
  214. Tears silently pouring from her eyes, Arien begins to dance within the healing song of the Moon as the song echoes about the Throne room. The air around her gathers through the weeping sky, drawing light from the heavens themselves, down, down around the form of Maeve and all of the other mortals. As it enshrouds Maeve, it appears to falter and attempt to wrap around her in a warm embrace many
  215. times..But to no avail.
  216. ?:-
  217. The thunder low and deep in Her voice fading as if Her very essence were draining away, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "You are tired, My dear. You may rest when you wish."
  218. ?:-
  219. Tears stream down the Consort's face as he watches his Queen.

  245. Khir kneels before Lisaera, swearing his allegiance to Her.
  246. ?:-
  247. Turning back to her throne, where she climbs up lightly and stiffly, Queen Maeve of the Fae says, "We enjoy this sound. Thank you. Tell us about who we are. What do we do?"
  248. ?:-
  249. Kraai's body tingles with the pains of sadness though she continues as though she felt nothing, even forcing a supporting smile to the other Harbingers to stay in rhythm with them.
  250. ?:-
  251. Jaamil's mouth turns up as his face breaks into a smile.
  252. ?:-
  253. Aleyah draws a few slow, gentle notes from her violin, curtseying before the Maeve. "To deaf'ned ears, one asks, unseen - which dream is my life, and which life was the dream?"
  254. ?:-
  255. You say to Queen Maeve of the Fae, "You are Queen Maeve."
  256. Laeroc, the Queen's Consort whispers into your ear, "I'm searching for something to help keep the place cheery. The little girl with the rabbit is good about saving me a flower if you can find her."

  278. Eliron Shee-Slaugh lets the sound of the viola gently crescendo, echoing Aleyah's last question and carrying the melody on as the Maeve speaks
  279. ?:-
  280. Arien ceases her dance, the air still glittering heady about them all. Her eyes slide to the Silver Goddess, guarded.
  281. ?:-
  282. Shaking her head, Queen Maeve of the Fae says, "No, we are broken. We know this now. We stumble and fall, and we are only true of thought when we hear the music."
  283. ?:-
  284. In a softer tenor whisper, Khan Jaamil sings, "You are the Queen of the Faes, and none would ever take your place..."
