Sabrina leaves practice early

>ONE TWO THREE FOUR WHO DO WE WANT TO SCORE?
>NOT THE OTHER TEAM NOT THE OTHER TEAM
>The school day had been over for almost a half hour, and the Spirit Committee had just finished putting the finishing touches on their newest chant, and already one of the cheerleaders had gotten hurt.
>Sabrina, one of the newer members, had fallen oddly on her arm during one of their early routines, and was almost patched up and ready to give it another go, but the Head Cheerleader had other plans.
>"Sabrina! This is the third time this week you've gotten hurt! At this point, you are just getting in everyone's way and making practice take much longer than it should." -Britney yelled over the sounds of the rest of the squad practicing their routines.
>"But Britney! I'm fine, really, I can keep going!" -Sabrina pleaded while trying to hide her hurt hand behind her back.
>But Britney was having none of it.
>"At this point, you'd be better off at home, resting for next Friday instead of staying here and continually getting hurt." -Britney retorted while flicking her hair in Sabrina's direction in annoyance.
>Sighing, Sabrina nodded and collected her things to make her way home early.
>After waving goodbye to the rest of the squad, Sabrina headed out, thinking of stopping by her favorite ice cream parlor to help lighten up her mood.
>The walk was fairly uneventful, barring for a few near misses involving various vehicles and pedestrians that thankfully didn't end badly.
>Walking up to the front counter, Sabrina started to order a double mint choco-swirl to go, when everyone inside the store heard yelling and crashes outside.
>Curious, Sabrina peeked out one of the front windows and gasped when she saw both Star and Marco fighting what appeared to be a...flaming three head dog!?!
>Know this wouldn't end well, Sabrina and everyone else in the ice cream parlor proceeded to run out the front door and away from the fight taking place.

>This ended up just getting the giant dog's attention, as it started to bat away at the running patrons like a dog does to a ball that's getting away from it.
>"Everyone stop running! You are just drawing it's focus!" -Marco shouted as he tried to get the beast's attention again by kicking it in the shins, to no real effect.
>Star was trying to get it to follow her away from the gathering of screaming people by making giant tennis balls appear near it's face, but the balls kept catching on fire and turning to dust too quickly to be of much use.
>"Star! This isn't working! Can't you reverse your spell to change it back to a normal dog or something?" -Marco said while dodging big globes of dog drool.
>"It's hide is too tough, my reversal spell keeps bouncing off!" -Star said while showing Marco what she meant.
>"Flaming Neon Puppy Reversal!" -Star yelled as a beam of neon colored magic shot out of the end of her wand...and bounced right off the giant dog's backside and hit a nearby telephone pole instead.
>"I think you need to hit in in a weaker spot, somewhere that's got less protection...like it's belly!" -Marco yelled back as he looked for anything that might help him get the dog to roll over.
>At this point most of the nearby people had ran away or hidden themselves in nearby buildings or under anything that might hide them from the giant dog.
>Except for Sabrina
>She had started yelling both commands and compliments at it, in hopes that it would start behaving.
>"Who's a good boy!? You are, that's who! Now roll over! I'll give you a treat and a belly rub if you do!" -Sabrina yelled while pulling out a big bag of doggy treats that she had just swiped from a nearby pet store during the confusion.
>The giant dog must have smelled the treats, but not heard Sabrina, as it proceeded to put it's head down and gobble up both the treats and poor Sabrina.

>Then the giant dog proceeded to roll around on the street, crushing a few cars in the process. But it did give Star the opening she needed.
>"Gross Green Vomit Comet!" -Star yelled while pointing at the big dog's belly as it rolled around.
>At this point, the dog didn't feel very good, and proceeded to expel most of that day's meals from all three mouths at once, including a very shaken up Sabrina and a few people that the giant dog must have eaten earlier during it's rampage.
>After the giant dog was finished, Star got off a quick reversal spell while it lay on it's side, looking fairly out of it, while Marco handed out some spare towels he had in his backpack to the poor survivors and pointed them toward the nearest store's working bathroom so that they could clean themselves up.
>After the crowd started to disperse, Star and Marco caught up with a disheveled Sabrina.
>"Sorry about that Sabrina, Star wanted to see if she could give a dog three heads, I think she saw it in a movie or something." -Marco apologized while giving her a few cleaning wipes to get the drool and smell off herself.
>"Yeah Sabrina, I'm sorry about that. How about I go get you an ice cream to make up for it?!" -Star said while turning toward the ice cream parlor that Sabrina had been in earlier.
>"Thanks Star, that would be nice of you." -Sabrina said while testing out her arm to check for any extra damage.
>"Huh, apart from being covered in dog drool, I think I'm good; I don't think I broke anything else!" -Sabrina said happily while smiling at Marco, who smiling back awkwardly
>"That's great to hear, any reason why you were passing by downtown so early after school? I thought you were part of the Spirit Committee, and they had practice today I thought." -Marco said while checking to see if Star was back yet with her apology ice cream for Sabrina.

>"Oh, uh...I did, but I got hurt and...Britney told me to go home early. I figured I'd get some ice cream on the way home to kill some time." -Sabrina said while trying to not look sad.
>"Well maybe your better off resting up a bit, getting hurt can make doing anything acrobatic pretty hard, plus it might snowball into even more injuries. As much as a pain Britney can be, she was probably right to send you home" -Marco said thoughtfully as Star ran out to the two, balancing three large ice cream cones with a mini table she had conjured using her wand.
>"Everything looked so good, I wasn't sure which flavor to get you Sabrina, will any of these three work?" -Star asked as Sabrina's eyes lit up when she spotted that one of them was mint choco-swirl.
>"I'll take the green one, thanks Star!" -Sabrina said as she lifted her favorite flavor off the mini-table and started licking it.
>Star and Marco grabbed the other two cones and the trio started walking and eating their frozen treat.
>"Do you want us to walk you home Sabrina? My house is only a block or two away from yours if memory serves" -Marco said, always the gentleman, while Star nodded, feeling bad that she might have ruined Sabrina's day.
>"No...yeah...ok, thanks guys. It would be nice to walk home with someone for a change." -Sabrina said, slightly blushing
>Star and Marco just smiled, and the trio kept their pace up. During the walk, the three talked about their day, and what they're plans were for the weekend.
>But it came to an end too soon, as Sabrina's house popped up as they rounded a corner.
>"Thanks for walking me home Marco...AND Star, thanks you two. I enjoyed your company very much. Oh, and thanks for the ice cream again Star." -Sabrina said while trying not to blush.
>She'd never been walked home by a boy before. Normally she'd walk with Britney or Andrea, as they're houses were not far from hers.

>"Your welcome Sabrina, I used Marco's weekly allowance, as he lost a bet with me yesterday. Makes the ice cream taste like VICTORY, don't you think?" -Star said while grinning at Marco, who just rolled his eyes and groaned.
>"Anyway, have a good night Sabrina, take care of yourself, and we'll see you in class tomorrow." -Marco said as he and Star started walking toward his house, waving back at Sabrina.
>After the pair had disappeared from her sight, Sabrina walked into her home, desperately in need of a hot shower and a new dressing for her arm.
>Afterwards, she sat and watched some TV, nursing her arm and thinking about how crazy her day had been. She even though a little of "safe kid" Marco Diaz, always ready for a emergency and willing to help those in need. Plus he seemed...cuter than she remembered.
>"I wonder if him and Star are dating...." -Sabrina mused to herself.
>"I'll have to ask around and see...if he's available." -She mumbled while thinking about taking another shower for different reasons than her first.
>"Achoo!" -Marco sneezed while doing his homework.
>"I hope I'm not coming down with something" -He said while wiping his nose and getting up to check if he had any extra cold medicine in his medicine cabinet.
