Mad_Group session #5

[20:28]	Rabtar	when we had last left our group they had been in the process of scavenging an old hospital. An erie music playing over the intercom and a strange.... lightless light had just been seen down the hall....
[20:29]	Arty_Shortfeather	levels her rifle. "I don't like this. Let's get outta here."
[20:31]	Gaige	nods and pulls out her SMG "right, lets go"
[20:31]	Sammy	shakes his head, ”an if we miss out on any stuff still here?”
[20:32]	Arty_Shortfeather	points to the glowing thing. "That there. I don't like it."
[20:32]	Redmend	"Yeah...but if we don't find anything, we wasted all our supplies to get here."
[20:33]	Gaige	taps her hoof on the floor "right.... Arty do you mind touching whatever that is, for science"
[20:35]	Arty_Shortfeather	"Are you nuts?! ok, stupid question. Can I hsoot it?"
[20:35]	Arty_Shortfeather	*shoot
[20:36]	Gaige	shrugs and steps away from Arty "feel free to try"
[20:37]	Arty_Shortfeather	switches to her 9mm and takes a carefull (aimed) shot at it
[20:37]	Redmend	steps closer to Gaige. "I...don't know if that's a good idea...."
[20:38]	Gaige	facehooves "its official, why don't you smash a rock with a club while you are at it"
[20:49]	Rabtar	there is a dull *thud* as the round hit something soft. The small flame grows larger and turns an angry red color, still not truly emitting any light
[20:50]	Redmend	takes a step back. "REALLY bad idea..."
[20:51]	Gaige	looks around and steps back "it was the flying chicken kill her!"
[20:52]	Arty_Shortfeather	backs away slowly and switches back to her carbine
[20:53]	Sammy	blinks, his wings giving an involuntary flap, ”I think you made it mad...”
[20:54]	Rabtar	the light begins advancing down the hall towards the group, an angry gurgling noise echoing down the dark halway
[20:55]	Arty_Shortfeather	whispers"Sounded like I hit it. Maybe we can kill it?"
[20:55]	Redmend	steps closer to Gaige and readies her Pump Action Rifle. "Oh dammit..."
[20:56]	Gaige	readies her SMG aiming for the Light
[20:58]	Sammy	sighs, ”Alright then, let's see how this goes...” he then draws his machete
[21:01]	Rabtar	the... thing comes into the light, it was once a pony, once. It's teeth long and twisted jutting out of it's grinning maw like wicked candles. The flame coming from a pink growth that may have been a horn, it also looking like a candle. It's eyes are nothing more than pits, pink.... frosting oozing out. It shambles towards the group on bendy, wobbly legs....
[21:04]	Gaige	blinks "so you look like you had a bad day, want to stay right there and talk about it?"
[21:05]	Redmend	takes another step back. "Cake...candle...pony?"
[21:05]	Sammy	facehooves, ”I'm guessing that thing's feral.”
[21:09]	Gaige	in a flash Gaige is next to the monster and blows on its horn hard enough to blow the flame out
[21:11]	Rabtar	the thing tries to bite Gaige as she goes to blow the strange flame out, both being unsuccessful
[21:12]	Gaige	shrugs "well it was worth a try"
[21:12]	Sammy	tries to facehoof while facehoofing, ”why was she in charge again?”
[21:13]	Redmend	nearly dies from a heart attack. "GAIGE! Get back here!"
[21:13]	Arty_Shortfeather	shakes her head "Oh dear..."
[21:18]	Sammy	readies the machete, charging up and slashing the thing three times
[21:22]	Rabtar	Sammy outright kills the thing, it's pink and black blood splattering all over him
[21:26]	Arty_Shortfeather	blinks "Well, that was fast..."
[21:26]	Sammy	blinks, wiping his face off, ”well, that was... disgusting.”
[21:26]	Redmend	scrunches up her muzzle and pulls back a bit. "Ewww....don't touch it."
[21:27]	Gaige	nods "i must have weakened it by blowing it.... wait no"
[21:28]	Redmend	blushes lightly.
[21:28]	Sammy	rolls his eyes, ”might be more than one. oh, and shoot me if I start turning into one.”
[21:29]	Gaige	nods "waaaaay ahead of you" she slowly aims
[21:30]	Sammy	lifts his machete, ”if you shoot early, oyu get my blade between your eyes.”
[21:30]	Gaige	keeps lifting her SMG to scratch her ear with it "what? just scratching my ear"
[21:33]	Sammy	walks down the hall, checking to make sure noting's sneaking up on him
[21:33]	Arty_Shortfeather	stays close to Sammy
[21:34]	Rabtar	the group dose not make it far before they find more in what was once a break room, three of the monsters standing around, moaning in tune with the strange music
[21:34]	Gaige	nods to Redmend and follows keeping an eye out for stuff to loot"
[21:35]	Redmend	follows them as well, keeping her gun ready.
[21:37]	Sammy	attempts to sneak past them, immediately tripping over someting and landing nearby one
[21:38]	Gaige	facehooves
[21:38]	Rabtar	the things turn as the two make far to much noise sneaking up on them, each of the strange candles lighting up with a hot red
[21:39]	Gaige	gets and idea "ummm Happy birthday, Happy Birthday to you?" she ties to sing
[21:40]	Arty_Shortfeather	opens fire, firing 5 shots at the nearest of te things
[21:40]	Redmend	eyes Gaige with an unbelieving look.
[21:42]	Gaige	frowns "was sure that was going to work..."
[21:43]	Rabtar	only 2 of her panicked shots strike home, badly wounding one of the things
[21:46]	Gaige	fires two bursts at one of the non wounded monsters
[21:47]	Rabtar	Gaiges gun just jams
[21:47]	Gaige	curses and unjams her gun
[21:51]	Redmend	fires 3 shots, one at each of them, and then readies herself to evade incomming attacks.
[21:52]	Rabtar	all of her shots miss.... this may not end well
[21:53]	Rabtar	two of the things lunge for Gaige while the last attacks Redmend
[21:53]	Rabtar	and they all miss
[21:54]	Sammy	brings his machete to the closest creature, slashing three more times
[21:57]	Rabtar	# the pegasus finishes off the wounded monster
[21:57]	Gaige	fires two more times at one of the monsters
[22:03]	Rabtar	%G3 Gaige blows one of the horrors away, killing it outright
[22:07]	Arty_Shortfeather	jumps past the doorframe and shoots four bullets at the nearest one in mid-air
[22:09]	Rabtar	despite all her showing off, the griffin only hits once. Not doing all that much.
[22:12]	Redmend	fires one shot, reloads for 4 and fires another.
[22:14]	Rabtar	and she misses...
[22:14]	Rabtar	the two remaining horrors strike, one at Gaige the other at Redmend
[22:19]	Sammy	moves to the nearest horror, slashing at it three times like the others
[22:22]	Rabtar	Sammy kills yet another
[22:27]	Gaige	aims at the last monster and opens fire
[22:28]	Rabtar	it's hit a few times but it only seems to get angrier
[22:31]	Arty_Shortfeather	fires an aimed shot (+10AP), reloads and fires a normal shot
[22:31]	Arty_Shortfeather	(redact: two aimed shots
[22:33]	Rabtar	the thing drops, a puddle of multicolored goo under it
[22:35]	Rabtar	with this floor cleared the group decides to take a little breather.
[22:35]	Rabtar	for not dieing the group gets 750xp
