- Yesterday, Wednesday October 26th, Marty collapsed in court as he was leaving the table at the end of the arraignment.
- His statement:
- "I did not trip, I collapsed. I felt dizzy, I felt faint. My legs came out from underneath me.
- My collapse in court today was most likely the result of multiple factors, including: low levels of electrolytes, exercise, dehydration (my request for water at the courthouse at 9:30am was not granted until after the incident around 2:30pm,) as well as the obvious combination of stress and starvation. However, you can rest assured, I am continuing the hunger strike, no matter what it takes. As always, my wife and I both appreciate your support."
- A nurse came and tended to him after the collapse. The nature of the tending wasn’t a fall; the nurse was taking his blood pressure and pulse. He was dehydrated, they had to give him water. He spent 45 minutes on the floor. He was wheeled out in a wheel chair and has continued to need one.
- Will be posting more about his living conditions as I hear from him.
