So. You have what it takes to get the job done right, eh?

Well, welcome to the Hardcore Challenge, scrub. With my help, we'll get your sorry behind into a king's chair in no time.

But first, we've got to get you cleaned up.

First thing I'm going to have you do is decide where you want to build your capital. This will be the CROWN JEWEL of your Kingdom. Just like me, there won't be anything better.

Make sure you have plenty of space. And I mean plenty.

By the time I'm done with you, you'll have built up a Capital unlike anything else. So make sure you have 1-2,000 blocks clear in pretty much every direction.

Trust me, you'll need them. And yes, we're still talking about your Capital--your first city.

So once you've found a good spot, we'll get started on getting you the greatest city this cube's ever seen.

But first, you need to take care of yourself. So we'll get a shelter made for you.

Together, we're the best. So we'll only settle for the best materials for your starting shelter.

Make it out of Clay. Not sand, not gravel, not dirt, and certainly not mud. Clay. Anyone can make a tiny hovel out of dirt.

And because, frankly, you don't look that strong right now, no tools for you. That's for when you're feeling stronger.

How should you make yourself stronger? Punch some trees!

Get me some saplings and some logs.

And while you're out, collect as many seeds as you can. When you're feeling stronger, we'll get you situated with a farm for some food.

Keep an eye out for berries. If you get hungry, show me that you're strong and punch out an animal.

Now, I know you want to go delving, caving, whatever you call it, but you gotta protect the noggin. So go find some cows, punch them out, and use their Leather to make a Leather Helmet.

Don't even THINK about going underground without one.

And Lastly, you're going to want some equipment. What, are you some Fast-Tracker who wants things easy?

NO!

You want a nice Clay Hovel that's fully equipped!

So Build everything from the following list:

Double Doors for the Hovel.
Crafting Bench
Bed (Punch dem sheep! Hoo ah!)
Double Chest


That's how we do things.

If you're feeling particularly like a pansy, fine, take shelter in a Testificate village.

But if you're a REAL Hardcorer, you'll be fine on your own.
