  2. >"You'll love her, Anon!"
  3. "Yeah, I'm sure I will."
  4. >The first thing that greeted you when you came back from a long day of running Twilight's errands was the horrifying coos of the abomination before you
  5. >And the next thing that came after that was a few agonizing moments of watching her play with the demon
  6. >Your friend didn't even bother to thank you for collecting her scrolls, books, bookwriting materials, and pet dragon when she turned around
  7. >But hey, you don't really mind, her pretty face was thanks enough for you and your fluttering heart
  8. >After all, it's just all for love
  9. >At least, you hope
  10. >If you do enough nice things for her, she'll come around, right?
  11. >"So, what do you think?"
  12. >Right?
  13. "Y-yeah, I think I can watch over her tonight."
  14. >Her grin covers almost half her face as she effortlessly lifts the heavy materials from your arms
  15. >Still no thanks
  16. >"I'm so glad! I knew I could always count on my good friend."
  17. "Where are you going tonight?"
  18. >"Oh, just you know, out."
  19. >Was that a blush on her face?
  20. >Probably just the light and exhaustion playing tricks on you
  21. "Out where?"
  22. >She rolls her eyes
  23. >"You don't have to know where I am all the time. You ask it too often."
  24. >She turns around, pulling one of the books you had brought her, requested from a nearby bookstore
  25. >Well, now you know why she wanted a book on babycare spells
  26. >Something about that sends a shiver down your spine but you're not quite sure why
  27. >Nonetheless, you follow her, trading glances between the babbling foal on the carriage and your mare-friend's flank
  28. >"Uhm, Anon?"
  29. >Luckily, you were facing the little foal when she turned back towards you, and you were just near the carriage
  30. >You steel yourself to look into the abyss as it gazes back
  31. "Yeah?"
  32. >"Do you have anything to do?"
  33. "What do you mean?"
  34. >"Well, I might need some help testing some of the spells from the book."
  35.
  36. >Your heart somersaults while your lips curl upwards in an unconscious grin, yielding a cute giggle from the unicorn
  37. >Maybe you two are finally getting closer?
  38. >"You're adorable, Anon."
  39. >Woah
  40. >Holy shit
  41. >"You remind myself of me when I was young and helping some of my fellow students..."
  42. >She drones on about something with students and spells
  43. >But that's not important
  44. >She just called you adorable
  45. >She's never complimented you or anything before
  46. >This was a monumental victory
  47. >A million butterflies in your stomach dance to your internal victory tune
  48. >Now, if only-
  49. >"Anon?"
  50. "Yes?"
  51. >"Did you hear what I said?"
  52. "Yeah."
  53. >No
  54. >"Well, then, I'm sure we can begin!"
  55. >You're getting that uneasy feeling again
  56. >But if you ask about it now, you might lose relationship points with her
  57. >You keep a very rigorous catalog of things that make her happy and things that don't
  58. >She definitely does not like people who phase out at all
  59. >It's probably-
  60. "Hello? Are you feeling alright?"
  61. "Yeah, I'm perfectly fine."
  62. >"That's good! We can begin now!"
  63. >She bites her lips, horn lighting up
  64. >Wait
  65. >You don't really feel comfortable with this
  66. >Why is she testing something on you?
  67. "Wait, Twilight?"
  68. >It fizzles out and she looks at you, a little puzzled
  69. "Why am I being tested?"
  70. >She gives a long sigh
  71. >And you feel your relationship meter go down
  72. >"You weren't paying attention, weren't you?"
  73. "I was! I was just, uh, joking!"
  74. >She looks unconvinced, but she continues onwards, leaning forwards again and lighting her horn up
  75. >Her magic wraps around you, her eyes staring in concentration
  76. >The tingling feels wonderful, almost intimate
  77. >You can't help but feeling a little arousal, being wrapped in her touch
  78. >Suddenly the world reverses and turns itself inside out as you buckle over
  79. >Twilight looks to still be concentrating, eyes crossed, focusing on something else
  80. >Suddenly, something explodes and bright light floods your vision, stunning you
  81.
  82. >You're back
  83. >But
  84. >Something's wrong
  85. >It's not just the sudden smoke around the room
  86. >Or the sudden piercing wail of the unholy spirit in the carriage
  87. >Or the fact that Twilight's tingling magical grasp just seeemd to disappear
  88. >No, it's that you literally have lost feeling along your skin
  89. >The numbing took a swift hold of you, spreading from your fingertips inwards
  90. >You feel yourself falling forward, coughing out, but nothing comes out of your throat
  91. >It constricts, and you almost choke, but there's no burning in your lungs
  92. >Your hands are down on the floor, out of the corner of your vision
  93. >And you see the skin losing color, turning a whiter shade
  94. >You lift one up to examine
  95. >When suddenly
  96. >All the numbness disappears
  97. >And you let out a silent scream that wracks your entire body
  98. >You feel your elbows contort, bend backwards, feel the crunching of your bone
  99. >SNAP
  100. >Your right arm bends at an impossible angle, sending sharp spikes of pain through you
  101. >Your eyes feel like crying but nothing comes out, it's all dry
  102. >Your knee CRACKs
  103. >You feel the area bulge out, fragments of your bone shattering
  104. >You can't even breathe too hard, each breath draws pain in your chest
  105. >The spiky arms of your ribs close in on your internals
  106. >Squeezing at your organs, and you feel a disgusting POP as something breaks
  107. >Your heart stops beating
  108. >The ground meets your head
  109. >Or whatever it now is
  110. >Like mush, it hits the ground, softly pressing into it, skull deforming
  111. >You feel the chill of the crystal floor
  112. >But it doesn't soothe the burning pain all throughout your body
  113. >Your ribs somehow curl inwards enough to scrape against the back
  114. >You feel your body vibrate as the tips scrape against ivory
  115. >And another CRACK
  116. >The shattered pieces of rib poke out at your chest
  117. >You close your eyes
  118. >Feeling your skin part
  119. >Rip open
  120. >But
  121. >No wetness
  122. >No blood
  123. >Just pure unadultered pain
  124.
  125. >Your legs curl backwards enough and your feet reach your back
  126. >And then CRACK again
  127. >But nowhere near the knee
  128. >Somehow your shin explodes in your skin
  129. >A million fragments of piercing pain passing through your skin
  130. >Almost as quickly as your shin shatters, you feel the bones...dissolve?
  131. >Instead of a large amount of fragments squeezing and playing with your insides
  132. >You now feel an infinitely large amount of sand-like particles, running around your skin
  133. >Your feet dig into your back, push in, start to merge
  134. >The bones in your torso follow next
  135. >Like a million needles prickling you from the inside
  136. >The bursting of bones cause you to jolt up and down
  137. >The movement twisting your world and limbs around
  138. >You try hard to scream
  139. >But this time you can't even open your mouth
  140. >Your lips have fused, and your tongue frantically pushes against it
  141. >Trying to push out
  142. >You succeed
  143. >But it feels like something slid a knife through your skin
  144. >Your tongue feels the air
  145. >And it burns for some reason
  146. >The air continues to flow in, burning where it touches
  147. >The pain intensifies as the hurt around your melting bones winds down
  148. >Your head suddenly feels like it's being squished
  149. >Squeezed
  150. >And
  151. >CRACK
  152. >Again
  153. >But this time, it's not a million fragments
  154. >No, you feel the large parts of your skull move around
  155. >Sharp corners poking and tearing at the skin as your head deflates and flattens
  156. >Your body feels like it's melting, burning on your skin, stabbing from the inside
  157. >You can't even see anything anymore
  158. >Just feel your body flatten
  159. >Flatten
  160. >And
  161. >Shrink again
  162. >The agony never stops
  163. >Your skin parts, and you feel holes in a million places
  164. >Letting the burning air in
  165. >Oh gods, it never stops hurting
  166.
  167. >You feel your skin somehow drying up, letting more of the burning air in
  168. >Why does air hurt?
  169. >Why would it hurt so much?
  170. >Your insides solidify, dry up, and you feel pieces of yourself shrink and contort
  171. >Your body does gymnastics inside you, all the parts settling down, carving a thousand etchings on your insides
  172. >It's not even easy sliding
  173. >You feel the resistance in each movement
  174. >You feel the scraping, the crinkling
  175. >Why can you still hear?
  176. >Why can't you be deaf and numb to the pain?
  177. >Your body shifts, moves around, crinkling continuously as everything deforms
  178. >Everything seems to move randomly
  179. >It's not even moving down
  180. >The pain goes in all directions
  181. >The crinkling gets louder and louder
  182. >And something booms
  183. >Like thunder or gunshots, heading closer and closer to you
  184. >A familiar tingling wraps around you, lifting you up
  185. >But it only excaberates your pain
  186. >Each point it touches makes you want to scream
  187. >All the intimacy is gone
  188. >Just cruel torture
  189. >"Did I miss this somehow? Maybe that's why you were so grouchy."
  190. >You're not really registering her words
  191. >The air burns your insides as it rushes through your millions of holes
  192. >You feel yourself lifting
  193. >Then dropping
  194. >And onto something soft
  195. >But it doesn't stop there
  196. >It feels like every hair of fur jabs at you
  197. >A little spear digging into your skin
  198. >Somehow it feels even worse than before
  199. >The hairs twist, wiggle inside you
  200. >Like knives twisting in you
  201.
  202. >"Aww, they look adorable on you!"
  203. >Your body squeezes together
  204. >Something on both sides pressing their little daggers deeper into you
  205. >What did you do to deserve all this?
  206. >"Now, to find out what happened with the spell and maybe bring Anon back."
  207. >Something warm and large jabs against one of your sides
  208. >Wiggling
  209. >Like it was tickling
  210. >But no, it's not doing that for you
  211. >It's clamping you down, squeezing your flatness further
  212. >Sending shoots of fiery pain coursing through your body
  213. >It's like a million volts of electricity ran through you, as your body crinkles
  214. >She finally relents
  215. >Retreating her hoof
  216. >If you could breathe, you'd be panting heavily
  217. >The myriad embedded spikes continue to contort and swirl in you
  218. >But that's okay
  219. >Just baseline pain now
  220. >You'll last
  221. >Twilight will find a way
  222. >She'll be your savior
  223. >And you'll thank her
  224. >And you'll live happily forever
  225. >And
  226. >HOLY HELL
  227. >Forget the air
  228. >Forget the spikes
  229. >Forget the bones melting and dissolving in you
  230. >No
  231. >Something wet
  232. >Something warm
  233. >Something HOLY FUCK IT BURNS
  234. >It spreads across your back
  235. >You can't even describe the pain
  236. >It's like having testicles ripped and torn to shreds all over your back
  237. >The same pulling feeling, mixed with the external burning agony
  238. >Your mind convulses and you swear you imagine colors sparking all over your darkness
  239. >You can't even focus or think of anything else
  240. >Just a bunch of lights popping in your head and disappearing
  241. >But then it gets worse
  242. >It gets INSIDE you
  243. >You feel your body absorb the pain
  244. >Take it in
  245. >And funnel it all thoughout
  246. >You want to scream
  247. >You just want to scream
  248. >That's almost the worst part
  249. >You can't do anything
  250. >You're stuck as the wet pain seeps through you
  251. >Your body absorbs it entirely
  252. >You can't even shake or shudder
  253. >Why?
  254. >Why can't you scream?
  255. >Why did Twilight do this?
  256. >Why didn't you tell her you loved her?
  257. >Why can't you fucking SCREAM?
