- (5:20) Tentoraiger is voiced by Nagasawa Nao who originally played Hurricane Blue in Hurricanger. Tento's human form is played by Ami Tomite.
- (6:36) Kageranger was a real tentative title for Goraiger, but they were never actually called that in any official promos.
- (07:40) Gouraigers were the second group of heroes in Hurricanger, though they were antagonists at first, but later joined the team. They're named after different kinds of beetles. The kabuto (rhinoceros) and kuwagata (stag) beetle. Tentou, the additional one in Akibaranger, is a ladybug.
- (12:23) The actor playing the man leading the pursuit is Wada Sanshiro, AkibaRed's suit actor. It's a long-running tradition to utilize suit actors as faceless extras.
- (15:10) The attacks Akagi and Yuko preform are from Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, the first ninja themed Sentai. Full Moon Slash was the signature attack of NinjaRed, while Triple Slash was the signature attack of NinjaYellow.
- (15:44) DynaBlack from Kagaku Sentai Dynaman was a ninja. The attack Yellow preforms can be seen in Dynaman's OP as well as in the show itself.
- (15:29) Ninjaman was from Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. He was also a samurai and could turn into a giant form known as Samuraiman.
- (16:41) Chimera was one of the generals of the Jashinka Empire in Dynaman.
- (20:42) The last name of the child actress that played the girl Nobuo is referencing can be read as "Wada". That's the joke.

- (21:27) Numbers advantage is a running gag that shows up in shows written by Naruhisa Arakawa. It's popped up in Carranger, for example.
- (21:55) Kabuto Riager is voiced by Tomokazu Seki. The line he says here is the catchphrase of GokaiRed from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. Tomokazu Seki voiced all of the Gokaiger's equipment.
- (22:34) Tentoraiger's death speech is a verse from the Hurricanger song 'Shinobi Love' which was originally sung by Hurricane Blue.
