  1. <SavanahHolland> Wendy walks through the halls somewhat aimlessly, perhaps she was looking for Katlyn, or perhaps she desired the time to be alone without the vanilla candles that now seemed to choke her with their depressing scent. Her hair simply brushed through with some kind of product she had gotten awhile back that did wonders to her hair now that it was short. Her cherry red sweater fitting loosely,
  2. <SavanahHolland> it now being her default besides the chill original blue she wore when comming into Sunnybrook. She glances into a few hallways, though very carelessly, she didn't mind being seen by Katlyn, but some caution seeps in from all their other encounters when the girl just ran away.
  3. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn had slipped off her shoes and left them by a desk. Her tights slid on the floor as she moved ever so gently. Her fingers played along the strings and danced with her in the classroom. She'd thought ahead and closed the door so this time the Janitor wouldn't walk in on her. Near the bay of windows and under the soft glow of the evening she danced around as if she was performing
  4. <LipstickThespian> on a stage in front of thousands. In her mind, she was, and she was killing it. Her hair bounced around her head, done into pigtails today that hug on her shoulders. The plaid pleated skirt she wore flowed with her hips. It was a good practice session today, she felt warm.
  5. <SavanahHolland> Wendy moves next to the door, her back leaning against the wall casually, despite her less than casual demeanor, more of a depressed air around her than usual, though most wouldn't notice that small a change in her. She listens to Katlyn's almost silent steps to the sounds of a guitar. She knew it was Katlyn, her mouth slowly moving to mouth the song as if she knew the lyrics, though she k
  6. <SavanahHolland> new no one could see. Perhaps five minutes passed, or maybe a eternity, she didn't know, or even feel like checking. The back of her hand going to the door as she stays in her same spot, knocking on it twice just barely.
  7. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn played like a thousand people were listening, but stopped when she knew just one was. Turning on her feet she looked over to the door and put her hands on the string to stop the sound. She stared at the door, and glanced at her shoes. Maybe if she was quiet they would move on. She was good at being quiet.
  8. <SavanahHolland> Wendy moves her back from the wall, fears must be faced? Well, Katlyn wasn't actually her fear, but maybe she had something to do with it. Moving to very slowly open the door, the lock clicking somehow becoming quiet as she opens it all the way, stepping in. Wendy looked, depressed? Depressed was a way to put it, though she looked nice, as if she had spent extra time making sure she looke
  9. <SavanahHolland> d good. "Hey." she says quietly, yes, depressed is certainly what you would call her right then.
  10. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn holds her guitar by the neck, the strap digging into her shoulder. She's wearing an obscure band tshirt under her usual grey jacket and seems to be a little worse for wear from a day of classes and practicing. Despite the quiet of the room, she seems a little frazzled by something. She raises a hand and waves to Wendy in response. Her mind clicking through options.
  11. <SavanahHolland> Wendy stands right there, in front of the door. Perhaps on purpose, or perhaps just because it was easier than other options, it was hard to tell. Wendy smiles slightly, though it's still depressed looking, it's hard to think of Wendy as a sad person, but at the moment, she looked like it. "I was looking for you, I hope I didn't get you at a bad time."
  12. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn shakes her head as the girl speaks. She turns on her feet and gingerly, on the tips of her toes, walks over to where she had left her shoes. She slips one on and pulls it up behind her to tug it on with a hand. That's her only way out, and she has seen what this couple can do when scorned.

  14. <SavanahHolland> Wendy closes her eyes, backing up a little closer to the door as she pulls it closed, but not in a threating manner, more like a 'I want to talk to you in privacy' kind of way, her hand though, staying on the doorknob, ready to bolt out as soon as she sees fit. Wendy looks down, her depressing features and small smile leaving with the movement so you can't see her face "You've met Akemi, h
  15. <SavanahHolland> aven't you?"
  16. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn nods her head in quick answer. Her eyes still sitting on Wendy and watching her actions with the door. At least it doesn't set off any triggers of flight or fight. She puts on her shoes and starts to take off her guitar, deciding to swing it around and hang it from her back instead.
  17. <SavanahHolland> "You kissed her, right?" she asks the girl, almost silent in her words. There is no anger, or sadness, just monotone, an alarmingly monotone voice that was strange for the girl of fire. You could almost see a blue wisp of fire in the air above her feet, though it's only for a second, as if your eyes were deceiving you.
  18. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn stops what she's doing as she hears the words. She had, she remembers it vividly. It wasn't something she wanted, well it was, but not like that. It had happened and she had sat on the memory. There was a three foot wide canvas in her room with a half painted recreation of the scene at that very moment. There's no answer, just the sounds of her pulling on her courier bag
  19. <LipstickThespian> quickly.
  20. <SavanahHolland> Wendy stares down at her feet, she never wore socks with her flats, perhaps she should buy some other shoes besides the very few pairs she had, all basically the same. Moving to look slightly up at Katlyn's feet, before looking all the way at the girl. If she looked, in that short time, Wendy seemed even worse off, her eyes somewhat sunken in and the always stormy blue dulled. For a second
  21. <SavanahHolland> , her lips only move, before the words hit you, simple, but holding emotions that seemed out of place for the girl's expression. "Why?" more blue flames flick up, barely held down, as if they were begging to ignite in a second.
  22. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn watches the girl as she adjusts the courier bag around her shoulder. Her own shoes, some nice oxfords she had snatched from a shop in town under less than legal means. Offset the dullness of Wendy's flats and showed a slight distinction between the two. Her eyes glance to the flicker, but she doesn't dare speak an answer. Instead she steps around the teacher's desk and
  23. <LipstickThespian> stops at it's edge, staring at Wendy. And the door.
  24. <SavanahHolland> Wendy stands in front of the door, her hand on the knob, the only way she would be able to escape by natural means is pushing Wendy away, not that she would budge, but with Wendy's seemingly thin body that she imagined under the sweater, Katlyn surely would assume it would be easy. "Please.. Don't run.. just.. tell me what happened." Another blue flame whips out, hitting the doorknob on to
  25. <SavanahHolland> p of the back of Wendy's hand as it holds it, though she doesn't flinch, or even notice for that matter.
  26. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn watches her and fidgets with her hands, holding the strap of her bag so she has something to keep her occupied. There's worry in her eyes and she already regrets stealing Wendy's old hairstyle today. She shakes her head quickly, she really doesn't want to talk about it. She can't talk about it, not to Wendy. Or anyone.
  27. <SavanahHolland> Wendy has a small pained look on her almost expressionless face before glancing down, you can now see the blue flames rising steadily at her feet, not longer playing their little games and Wendy no longer supressing them, or perhaps she is unable. Her voice just above a hauntingly painful whisper "Please.. tell me what that kiss meant to you.."
  28. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn watches her, watches the little flames. She takes a few steps over to the white board, some distance from Wendy. Grabbing a marker that sat on the ledge in front of it she pulls the cap off and starts to write on the board. Big enough so Wendy can see, and in sharp lines. "she came onto me."
  29. <SavanahHolland> Wendy's dull eyes read the board, as soon as her eyes meet the end of the words. She cracks. The flames makes a horrifying sound, turning to blood red as they rise higher, her dull and horribly sad blue eyes turning to deadly fire. You can see it, a creature in the flames, the size of a large dog, but you can't tell, it's too blended in with the colors of the crimson. Wendy almost screams
  30. <SavanahHolland> out, half in pain and half in anger "SHE WOULDN'T DO THAT TO ME."
  31. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn holds her marker to the board as she looks over at Wendy. Her eyes grow wide with gear as the angry firey passion of Wendy makes itself visually apparent. From the firefox, to her eyes, and then to her commanding voice. She takes a few steps back as she looks at the vision of horror in front of her. To say she is suddently scared would be an understatement. Putting her
  32. <LipstickThespian> hand farther down the board she writes quickly, as if this will put out of the fire. "sorry. she can be a slut."
  33. <LipstickThespian> fear*
  34. <SavanahHolland> Wendy reads the words on the board, the fire growing more and more, a few posters that were hung on the classroom walls catching alight with the horrifyingly dark flames. Then slowly, a beast steps out, the size of a Leonberger, larger than Wendy had ever made her sweet Neru before. "SHE IS NOT" Wendy nearly screams at the girl. The beast does nothing, it looked similar to a fox, but with
  35. <SavanahHolland> larger ears of flames. Then, it slowly walks to Katlyn, each step agony, if only for Katlyn's fears. It's hollow eyes that were made of burning flames staring into the poor girl's soul.
  36. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn watches the fire grow, the power of the written word. She glides down the length of the white board to try and get away from the beast of flame. A foot catches on the chair behind the desk and she stumbles a bit but manages to make it down the width of the room. She stops at the edge of the board and writes "it was a joke. im sorry. sorry sorry sorry." The word would have kept
  37. <LipstickThespian> repeating if she didn't break off the board and makes a rush to the far corner of the room. Her shoes squeaking on the tile.
  38. <SavanahHolland> The flames flicker, Wendy felt, defeated? Maybe it was the depression creeping back up, or the way the girl cowered. She wasn't scary, that couldn't have been scary? Wendy was lying to herself. She moves her arms to her sides sharply, the flames that had almost caught the entire building on fire suddenly going out, leaving the burn remains of the posters and a melted clock. The smell of as
  39. <SavanahHolland> h and burnt plastic in the air and stinging her throat. All that was left was the beast, and the flames that writhed at her feet like hands trying to find their way out of hell. The color of all the bloodied flames flicker softly, to a horrible light blue color. Wendy falling to the floor and curling up "Akemi wouldn't do that to me.." she says quietly. The beast stares at Katlyn, approach
  40. <SavanahHolland> ing closer, though the threatening feeling that tugged at your mind gone, just a slight cold breeze flows over you as it approaches, not getting any worse, only giving you a small shiver.
  41. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn watches the girl switch gears more than a manual in rush hour traffic. She's backed against a wall in the far corner and can only watch her dip down below the desks, and the small Wendy curl up by the door. Her eyes then look over to the flame beast and she feels only a little relieved to not instantly be burned alive. She steps along the back wall to get some distance from
  42. <LipstickThespian> it and ends up looking down the length of the room at the Wendy on the floor. Shit, she really fucked up. Shit. Shit. There's a bit of her that wants to escape, but the defeated girl laying on the ground is enough to make her want to do something. In her heart she knows she could fix Wendy if she had the chance. She falls down to her knees and starts to draw on the tile floor with
  43. <LipstickThespian> the stolen dry erase marker. As she does, her free hand flicks across the ground and creates sparkles. Slowly, grass starts to pluck out from the tiles and trickle along the floor towards Wendy. It circles around her and pokes up below it. Softer than the tile at least. As she works and draws it starts to bloom carefully into a bed of flowers that almost tickles her. It's a
  44. <LipstickThespian> performance piece, for sure.
  45. <SavanahHolland> Wendy felt, defeated? Angry, sad, jealous, hated, loved, so felt emotions. At this point, all she could describe them as, were emotions. Emotions that she hated and loved, that she couldn't understand no matter how much she wanted to. Emotions that changed so easily to break her apart even more and more each and every day. The grass sprouting under her body, softly tickling her nose and re
  46. <SavanahHolland> minding her of a late summer day. She says curled up, despite the bed of loving flowers under her. The familar watches on with silent wisdom, as it always had. It knew what was bed for Wendy in that moment, but had no voice, just a creature of her raw emotions that acted on what was best for her in that moment. Slowly walking to the girl in the bed of flowers, sitting down to lay watch ove
  47. <SavanahHolland> r her with flames that seemed unforgiving if only they touched Katlyn's skin. Though something about the beast called to the girl, called her to come closer, with no words and a eyeless gaze.
  48. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn watches the two of them as she finishes drawing the small scene. A nice little meadow with an oak tree that seems cut to fit perfectly in the room next to Wendy and her little pet. She doesn't move, keeping her distance from the two of them as she watches them. After a moment she pulls her guitar around, and decides to speak to Wendy in her own special way. So she plays a
  49. <LipstickThespian> song, a soothing one, from the heart. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJGf5JEWwyg )
  50. <SavanahHolland> The dog slowly moves up from it's little spot that he was using to guard Wendy, moving to slowly using its paws to unravel the girl that was in fetal position, slinking under her head for her to rest on. Wendy stares at the ceiling and the leaved branches of the oak tree. A tear or two streaking down her red cheeks. She could feel the cool grass from under her, the scent of flowers faint a
  51. <SavanahHolland> nd fresh. The blue returning slowly as a small smile came on her tear soaked face. What was she even supposed to feel? It didn't matter, she felt calm, the sadness still knocking at her heart, but for a moment, she could say she was going to be fine. Though, knowing her, it could only last so long in her storm of emotions that constantly nagged at her.

  54. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn plays her song and just lets the soft breeze flow through it. The tree rustling above Wendy as she watches it, the flowers swaying in the breeze. Eventually she comes to a stop, the song always comes to an end even when it means so much. So she sits there, legs tucked under her, guitar in her lap. What else can she do? She's only as strong as her art anyway.
  55. <SavanahHolland> Wendy lays there for a second longer, the breeze, the rustling of the trees, the soft sound of the wavering fire from under her head. She tilts her head for a moment, looking to Katlyn from across the classroom with a bitter sweet smile, turning her head back to the ceiling. Closing her eyes she remembers the lyrics that they had shared once, without a guitar to sing along. Her voice somew
  56. <SavanahHolland> hat strained but the words flow through her like silk, perhaps a sadness added to the words sung that weren't quite there before.
  57. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn looks at her, and matches her gaze. She returns the smile, the same symphony of sadness between them as they look at each other down the room. Hearing the words come out she can hear her heart flutter and skip a beat. No one ever remembers her, not even her music. She listens to it and closes her eyes to enjoy it. She lets it go to the chorus before she starts to strum her
  58. <LipstickThespian> guitar to the song and join along in the shared tragedy. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjEmPS-yd_8 )
  59. <SavanahHolland> A oak tree, the soft green meadow grass, the flowers around her, and soon a addition from Wendy herself, streams of water from her eyes. The upbeat sounding song, with rather sad lyrics that can be taken many ways seems quite heart breaking in this moment. No matter how much everything broke her heart, she could just lay there, singing the sad song, shared with another similar soul. The so
  60. <SavanahHolland> ng slowly comming to close, Wendy's soft lyrics fading.
  61. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn lets her finish off the last word, draw out the broken heart a little farther than she'll go herself. She tilts the guitar up as she finishes, leaning into the teal device she's grown so accustomed to. Pressing her face against the neck of it as she watches Wendy. Striken by the tragic beauty of the black haired girl with the fire in her eyes.
  62. <SavanahHolland> Wendy closes her eyes tighter, the last few streams of water trickling down her face and landing on her little beast of fire with wisps of smoke forming into the air from it. Her Neru moving slowly from under her as her midnight black hair touches the cool spring grass. He slowly walks to Katlyn, you can swear he gets smaller with each step. Finally making it to Katlyn, the size of a small
  63. <SavanahHolland> cat, it's large ears looking somewhat silly, then tilting it's head softly at the young artist that painted a temporary paradise for the girl of fire.
  64. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn pushes herself up, grabbing her guitar as she goes. She steps away from the little fire creature, not wanting to get close to it. Taking a breath, she looks over as her work starts to disappear again. The tree slipping into a soft golden dust and going away, the flowers and grass turning to a soft fog that leaves through the floor. They are back in reality, and they are far
  65. <LipstickThespian> apart.
  66. <LipstickThespian> -Scene Pause-
  67. <SavanahHolland> - Scene UnPause -
  68. <SavanahHolland> Wendy lies there on the floor, the sweet meadow grass gone, the scent of the flowers gone, the tree above her that rustled softly gone, her temporary paradise was just that, temporary. She lays there on the cold hard floor of reality. Her heart ached. The little creature watches on to it's master with what seemed like almost pity, before turning to gaze back at Katlyn, a softly cold commin
  69. <SavanahHolland> g over to you, before disappearing. As if it were it's own little goodbye for the artist.
  70. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn lets a soundless sigh roll out of her mouth. She walks along the side of the room, her oxfords leaving a small click in her walk audible only in the silence of the room. Stopping above Wendy, she swings her guitar on over her back and meets the girl's eyes. Bending at the waste, she offers her hand to Wendy, the bracelets on her wrist sliding down and dangling slightly.
  71. <LipstickThespian> Her face a wry smile that tries to lift the girl up.
  72. <SavanahHolland> Wendy opens her eyes slowly, red from the tears, but the lovely blue back from it's tangent of fire. Taking the hand softly, you could tell that Wendy was extremely light as she's pulled up, stumbling to her feet as she lets the smallest pained smile come across her pale face. Her movements quick as she wraps her arms around Katlyn, the girl as tall as Akemi so it was easy, as if she were
  73. <SavanahHolland> embracing the girl. A few more tears slipping down her cheeks, saying softly "I'm sorry.."
  74. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn yanks the girl up with ease, some of her gear weighs more than this little girl. She feels Wendy grab onto her and she freezes. Still uneasy with the touching part of their interactions. As they stand there, she starts to breath a little slower and just enjoys the hold. This is how it should be, anyway. In the back of her mind she knows it's just a fleeting moment. So she
  75. <LipstickThespian> doesn't commit, she doesn't wrap her arms around Wendy and hold her and make her feel safe. There's no way she can steal her away. Not her, not this nobody. So instead she just sets her hands on Wendy's waist and lets her rest against her.
  76. <SavanahHolland> Wendy just lays her forehead on Katlyn, holding her arms around her for far longer than she would ever admit she had, letting the quiet of both of them soak in. She slowly removes her face, looking into Katlyn's eyes with her blue ones, before breaking off from the tender embrace. "I should go.." she says softly, her body shaking a little more. Gathering her little friend in her arms, turn
  77. <SavanahHolland> ing to face the door "Thank you." she says softly, before clicking it open, and leaving without another word, disappearing down the hallway.
  78. <LipstickThespian> Katlyn lets the girl pray at her altar for as long she needs to. If she had her way, Wendy would worship her for the love Katlyn gave her. Her eyes meet Wendy's, the green sparked with the imagination of an unreal relationship. The blue dull with the reality of their relationship and all it could be. As Wendy slides away from her she watches her go. Tilting her head back to look up
  79. <LipstickThespian> at the sky of the dull flourescent lights she wonders to herself. Water trickles down her face, and she thinks what a terrible day it is for rain.
