[2012-08-15 13:16:09] * DiceArt|GM When we last left our intrepid group of wasteland wonders they had stumbled they way into a nasty boggy swamp filled to the brim with fung ghouls who weren't all that fun to be around as Sunrise soon found out when he sprouted a mushroom on his muzzle. There was a short fire fight when some of the ghoulies broke free of their moldy prisons and started attacking our gang.

  4. [2012-08-15 13:22:35] * Sparkster recharges her rifle with some fresh cells, "Now would be a good time to put the other ghouls to rest. You know, before they get up and try to make friends."
  5. [2012-08-15 13:22:45] * Thick blinks and looks at the little mushroom that Sunnypony held. "Am you gon' eat that?"
  6. [2012-08-15 13:26:22] * Lever_Action bops Thick on the nose; "Don't eat that. Bad. Poison."
  7. [2012-08-15 13:27:35] * Thick looks like a scolded puppy. "B-b-but Thick am hungee!"
  8. [2012-08-15 13:28:40] * Lever_Action floats a still fresh NCR apple out of her packs and tosses it to him
  9. [2012-08-15 13:29:04] * Gabriel_Irontalon grunts. "Thick am thick. Does Thick wanna end up like those poor fools what we just killed?"
  10. [2012-08-15 13:33:09] * Thick kicks up a little dust and looks disappointed. This is alleviated immediately after an apple is consumed. "Thick am big an' strong again! Thick am buck many angrypony!" He chirped, beating his two hooves together with a loud thunk.
  11. [2012-08-15 13:33:51] * Lever_Action rolls her eyes; "Whatever. Just don't eat the mushrooms."
  12. [2012-08-15 13:33:54] * Sunrise_Smiles considers. "Actually, I think I'm going to keep it. A souvenir, if you will."

  22. [2012-08-15 13:43:45] * Thick proceeds to step forward with a big, crooked, cocky smile. "No worry! Thick am here, little pony, and Thick am big and strong now! Thick am kill squishy an' then we am be big hero and Thick am have lots of happysexytime!"

  24. [2012-08-15 13:44:59] * Sparkster calls back. "But I need to test what happens when I introduce it to plasma!"
  25. [2012-08-15 13:45:28] * Gabriel_Irontalon repeats himself. "I said: Hillock, covered in giant mushrooms that look just like the ones on the ghouls, /and it's moving./"

  28. [2012-08-15 13:46:20] * Thick blinks. "What am Hillock?" Thick knew hill, but that couldn't be what he meant. Hills don't move.

  30. [2012-08-15 13:48:12] * Lever_Action shakes her head; "Actually, bad idea. An explosion like that could... waitaminute... this thing isn't registering as hostile."
  31. [2012-08-15 13:49:13] * Gabriel_Irontalon gapes at Lever_Action and wiggles a talon in his earhole. "Explain to me what you mean, because I clearly am not understanding it."
  32. [2012-08-15 13:50:20] * Lever_Action looks up at Gabriel, then holds up her Pipbuck; "Eyes Forward Sparkle. Detects other living things and differentiates between what's a threat... rather, what's hostile and what isn't."

  73. [2012-08-15 14:09:15] * Apple_Turnover moves forwards towards the rumbling and odd growth. Whatever it was must be dangerous, and that meant it was her job to help deal with it!
  74. [2012-08-15 14:10:11] * Gabriel_Irontalon rolls his eyes. "Well, I guess if you folks are determined to put yourselves in danger I'm obligated to help protect you. I still say we should let sleeping... er... hillocks lie though."

  77. [2012-08-15 14:12:11] * Sunrise_Smiles falls on his rump.
  78. [2012-08-15 14:13:16] * Gabriel_Irontalon watches the entrapped ghouls struggle. "Bah. No time like the present." He hefts his energy rifle and sights down to the trapped ghoul most distant from the party, and pulls the trigger."
  79. [2012-08-15 14:17:34] * Heat-seeker dips lower, moving into a hover. "I think it's some kinda...turtle?" He hovers near what seems to be the head.
  80. [2012-08-15 14:17:59] * Lever_Action blinks; "A turtle... seriously?!"
  81. [2012-08-15 14:18:37] * Gabriel_Irontalon slings his rifle as he realizes how many more ghouls are left. "Ah, screwit. I don't have ammo to burn like that."
  82. [2012-08-15 14:19:02] * DiceArt|GM the turtle continues to munch on a tree looking at Heat-Seaker it's eye's crease into a smile.
  83. [2012-08-15 14:20:54] * Apple_Turnover glances around in confusion. "We'll have to find a more efficient way to deal with these ghouls! We'll run out of ammunition before we stop them all.

  86. [2012-08-15 14:22:45] * Heat-seeker cant help but chuckle a bit. "Daw...didn't Rainbow Dash have a turtle'er somethin'? Strapped a rotor to his back so he could fly 'round with 'er and everything?"
  87. [2012-08-15 14:23:26] * DiceArt|GM the turtle slow turns it towards Thick and nods finishing it's tree. Then it looks back at Heat_Seeker and smiles before giving him a lick with its large muss covered tunge.

  121. [2012-08-15 14:51:14] * Apple_Turnover wobbles on her hooves briefly and looks up in the direction of the smoke. "Oho! A new source of adventure!" She rushes off in the same direction Gabriel was going, without waiting to see if anyone else was following.

  124. [2012-08-15 14:52:23] * Lever_Action blinks; "But how could you... only Saint Pinkie... We're going to have to talk later." She then gets out form underneath the tortoise and follows behind Apple and Gabriel on the ground

  129. [2012-08-15 14:53:58] * Apple_Turnover slows in her tracks, calling up to Gabriel. "Stay back! This crash is dangerous! Very dangerous!" She proceeds more carefully on hoof. "The smoke is irradiated!"
  130. [2012-08-15 14:54:00] * Thick follows the party, happily going where no pony had gone before. "Abye, Tank! Thick am go real quick to thing that fall!" He said before following the party.
  131. [2012-08-15 14:55:25] * Gabriel_Irontalon wasn't planning on flying through the smoke anyways, but veers into a circle around the crash site anyways.
  132. [2012-08-15 14:55:50] * Thick stops close to the edge of the crater. It was really big! "Thick am see big flat thing! It am big! But it am look like big thing am really crumbly."
  133. [2012-08-15 14:55:50] * Lever_Action looks to Apple_Turnover; "That armour of yours keep radiation out?"
  134. [2012-08-15 14:56:57] * Gabriel_Irontalon calls down. "You're the one with the gadgetry, how hot is that big metal thing?"
  135. [2012-08-15 14:57:26] * Heat-seeker screetches to a halt at the warnings of danger, making sure to keep out of the irradiated smoke.
  136. [2012-08-15 14:57:39] * Apple_Turnover looks up towards Lever Action, tapping a hoof to her chest. "Ofcourse! Steel Ranger armor was meant to protect against the hazards of Balefire afterma-" She's cut off as she comes over the lip of the crater and spots what's down inside. "Celestia's sunlight!"

Her horns glows brightly for a moment, before shrouding her in a dim rosy glow from head to tail. She continues casting until the glow seems to be double layered.

  142. [2012-08-15 15:01:48] * Sunrise_Smiles stays back, looking at the turtle. "Is your name Tank?" he asks, needing to confirm.
  143. [2012-08-15 15:02:04] * Lever_Action has cast Rad-Guard and Equestria's Love on herself; +20% Rad resistance and the ability to ignore environmental effect (Heat, rain, etc.)

  147. [2012-08-15 15:03:59] * Sparkster nudges Lever_Action as she looks into the hole. "That doesn't look pony-made. And the dimensions are all wrong for atmospheric travel. I... think it came from space."
  148. [2012-08-15 15:04:08] * Lever_Action gets a few steps closer to object. She might have wished she hadn't cast the second spell, then she might have been able to realize how much more severe the radiation bleed was than she anticipated

  150. [2012-08-15 15:06:04] * Apple_Turnover stares down into the crater and shakes her head slowly. "I've never seen anything like this before... Whatever it is must be dangerous to be leaking radiation like this. And that means we have to go find out where it's from and how to stop more of it from coming!"
