- >As a click sound awakens you, you see that you're still strapped to the chair.
- >But your vision clears as you look ahead and a blurry image of Twilight appears.
- >"Hey, Anon. I'm going to run some tests on you, alright?"
- "Could you untie me? It's not like I'm a rabid animal or something."
- >"I don't know what's happening to you so I don't think I can do that."
- >You nod at her concern.
- >It makes sense.
- >She puts a metal helmet on you with wires going from it to a big beeping machine.
- >"This here is-"
- "Going to check my vitals to see if anything is wrong with me there before you move on."
- >She stops and stares at you.
- >"How did you know that?"
- "Who doesn't know that?"
- >"Mostly everyp0ny else."
- "I guess they should read more books then."
- >Her eyes expand to the size of dinner plates and her smile grows to match them.
- >"You like to read?!"
- "Of course I like to read!"
- >She sits down and is swishing her tail as she watches you.
- >"What's your favorite book?"
- "I like them all so much, how could I possibly choose just one?"
- >She stops and looks into your eyes for just long enough to make it feel uncomfortable.
- "What's this, some sort of stress test?"
- >"I think I may be onto something... SPIKE!"
- >The door opens and the sound of little scaled feet running down the stairs is heard.
- >Spike waddles down the stairs and stops in front of Twilight saluting her.
- >”Yes ma'am!”
- >"Spike, I need you to stay here with Anon and keep him company for a few minutes while I gather a few things."
- >"Need me to help, Twi?"
- >"It's fine, I got it."
- >She trots up the stairs and leaves Spike standing in front of you.
- >He walks over and smiles at you.
- >"Hey."
- "Hi Spike! What's up?"
- >"Not much. Just have to watch you for a bit."
- "Alright."
- >As you sit there, a pile of books in the corner draws your attention.
- >Why is it all messed up?
- >Twilight wouldn't want it to be messed up.
- >You should help Twilight.
- "Hey Spike, can you untie me for a second? This room is a mess."
- >He looks around the room and nods in agreement.
- >"Yeah, it sure is."
- "And we know Twilight doesn't like it when things get messed up..."
- >”You can say that again...” he grumbles as he walks around to your back and cuts the rope with his claw.
- >The both of you start tidying up and start performing several chores such as stacking books, dusting off the old shelf with the vials on it, and sweeping the floor.
- >In a matter of minutes, it’s already looking a lot less like a tornado came through.
- >Spike puts his scaled hand up and you return his high five.
- "Great teamwork!"
- >"You too, Anon!"
- >A groan is heard from upstairs.
- >"Spiiike! Where is the book on emotions?!"
- "It's right after the book about the Elements of Harmony!"
- >Spike's eyes dart to you a little confused.
- >Twilight opens the basement door and sees you standing there in the clean room.
- “I-I can expla-”
- >"I knew it."
- "Huh?"
- >She trots down the stairs and walks over to the table there.
- >She opens the “Book of Emotions” and flips through the pages until she gets to the spell she casted yesterday.
- >"This right here... Last night I sent a letter to Princess Celestia asking if she could understand what was going on."
- >You take a seat to ready yourself for any new information that is about to be given.
- "What did she say?"
- >"She said that it reminded her of a spell where the victim gains quality traits of whoever is closest to them."
- >As you sit there and listen, your hand moves to your chin and begins stroking it in thought.
- "So in other words... A copycat?"
- >"Exactly!"
- "So, how do you get rid of it?"
- >"That's just it! I don't know..."
- >You stand and walk over to her.
- "Let me see that.”
- >When you grab the book from her you see that the page labeled "Copycat" has been worn down to the point where it is barely legible.
- >When you move your eyes back to Twilight you also turn the book around and point to the fading pages.
- "Don't you have some sort of restoration spell so we can read this?"
- >"It only works on creatures."
- >You put the book down.
- "Well... Now what?"
- >"I think it would be best for you to stay here. If anyp0ny else found this out they might try to use it to their advantage."
- "That seems reasonable. What if I get bored?"
- >"You're living in a library Anon."
- >You nod hesitantly.
- >"But then again, I guess I could take Spike to go buy some games and such since you'll be taking his personality a little as well."
- "Are you going right now?"
- >"Yes, we'll be right back."
- >Spike is levitated to her back and she trots up the stairs.
- >The door slams shut and suddenly you don't feel anything.
- >There's no urge to clean, no feeling of wanting to read or learn…
- >You just feel... Normal.
- >Damn it feels good to be yourself.
- >A draft rolls in and pushed the door to the basement open.
- >You head up the stairs and peer around the door into the main room.
- >She never said you couldn't be up here, now did she?
- >Walk into the main part and look at all the books.
- >So full of knowledge and adventure that you just can't wait to sink your teeth int-
- >Yeah, not gonna happen.
- >A knock is heard on the door.
- >You freeze in place, unsure if you should answer it or not.
- >"Anon! It's me, Fluttershy!"
- >Suddenly you feel a lot nicer.
- >You approach the door and open it, greeting her with a smile.
- >"Oh my gosh! I was so worried!"
- >She wraps you in a hug and you hug her back.
- >"I was so worried about you because I didn't know what was going on and-"
- >You silence her with a kiss.
- >She gives it back, pushing her tongue in a bit.
- >She giggles into your mouth as your tongue tickles the roof of her mouth.
- >The air feels warm around you both as you kiss in bliss.
- >You break connection between your lips and bring her into a tight hug once again, placing your head next to her own.
- >A light whisper is heard from your lips.
- “Fluttershy... I love you.”
- >WHAT?!
- >No you don't!
- >She pushes herself out of the hug and looks you in the eyes.
- >”I love you too Anon! I always have! Since the first day we met!”
- “Me too! Oh how I've always longed for your touch Fluttershy...”
- >Why is this happening?!
- >Her eyelids lower a little bit and she seductively bats them at you while making a cute growl noise.
- >Without warning she is ripped from you by a purple glow and you float inside.
- >The door slams shut, separating you from your love.
- >FUCKING STOP.
- >THIS ISN'T YOU.
- >Twilight is there and she drops you down on your ass.
- >"What were you thinking?!"
- >You stand up rubbing your tail bone and look at her almost as confused and angry as she is.
- "I... I don't know! When I came up here I just felt so nice so I opened the door for her."
- >She shakes her head and then brings a hoof up to her head.
- >"We don't want ponies in here! That's the reason why you're supposed to stay!"
- >You hang your head and sit down on a chair.
- "I'm... I'm sorry Twilight."
- >She sighs with a mix of relief and frustration.
- >"I guess it didn't do any harm this time. But please be careful with something like that! You have no idea what could have happened!"
- >You give her a slight nod and she pulls out a boxed game from her saddle pack.
- >"Spike, can you set this up for Anon? I need to write to Princess Celestia."
- >Spike, who had apparently been on Twilight's back the entire time, jumps off and looks up at her.
- >"Sure!"
- >He takes the board game and starts setting it up on the ground in front of you as Twilight writes.
- >As he unfolds the board, you turn your attention to Twilight.
- "Twilight…"
- >"Yeah?"
- "What are you going to write to her?"
- >She looks back at you with a hint of worry in her eye.
- >"I'm going to ask if she knows how to rid you of the spell."
- "Alright."
- >She resumes writing.
- >Spike begins reading the rules of the game to you, but you can't seem to concentrate as thoughts drift through your mind.
- >What if you're stuck like this forever?
- >Nah, that probably won't happen.
- >Well, hopefully not.
- >Celestia must… Well... SHOULD know how to fix this mess.
