  1. Update on 22 May 2017: With the release of the Fiel Powerlevel system, please be informed that it is now super easy to level. Any team of 4 units can reach 99 in about 3 hours. This means no more resetting on the hire screen. Please keep that in mind. A lot of the below info can be useful but know that meta safety now requires multiple deathmarch units (e.g. Lancer with catapault) for guaranteed safety from niche detachments like medic bottle burst. Most of the dual no escape 4 challengers (requires 3+ deathmarch or 2 deathmarch lancers to dodge) are in Fiel so you should be safe there.

  3. Part 5: Guide to the first 10 levels
  4.
  5. So you’ve already made your party in part 1 and now you’re ready to start proper. The first 10 levels is characterised by tight gold. No two ways about it. You’d want to save as much as possible.
  6.
  7. Operations is the happy hunting grounds for a lot of things but we lack the supplies of healing items, hireling monies and alcohol to make it smooth. You could go there immediately, I did, but it is painful.
  8.
  9. We suggest you visit the campaign quests and travel quests (which unlock after 1-2 campaign quests) till L10. This allows you flexibility to familiarise yourself with the game. Travel quests also allow instant return to base, a nearby medic to full heal as well as lots of treasure all over. Just try to avoid the golden enemy mobs, those are for a later time.
  10.
  11. Get used to casting field skill experience in travel and campaign.
  12.
  13. Part 6: Guide to the 11-99 levels
  14.
  15. This is where we make the climb to L99 and make it as efficient and smooth as possible.
  16.
  17. You’re going to want to enter war operations at L11+ and bring with you some gold. Target the 30% healing item and if funds allow 2 hires so you have 6 units. Head towards the nearest enemy fort and fight. Use healing items between fights and if you can afford alcohol use it at 20% morale. Otherwise you can use the below shortcut.
  18.
  19. If you wipe its fine, wait for 60s and restart. This is the budget way to restore morale as wiping restores morale to 100%. With your 6 units you should be able to win and maintain 100% uptime on experience skill as it stacks for the 3 consecutive battles
  20. Make a note of your gold income, it should be around 2k at L11 and rises significantly. Dedicate funds to healing items and hires. Eventually alcohol as well. Focus on sustaining levels with each operation.
  21.
  22. a) Upgrades
  23. Upon L51 and adequate monies, you can begin searching for upgrades.
  24.
  25. I. Travel to Burgoras amd buy a Move Up Flag from a NPC merchant
  26. II. Travel to Pastura and buy L48 weapons from a NPC merchant
  27. III. Travel to Lindberg and buy 08 x veteran scars from a NPC merchant
  28. IV. Travel to Parie and buy a Human Catapault from a NPC merchant
  29.
  30. You’re going to want to synth those scars. First equip 4 scars. One for each unit. Then buy 4 cheap rings from base. Go to blacksmith in capital and select synth > ring > scar. Repeat 4x. This will allow your rings to be powered up. Now equip the 4 scars and you should have arguably doubled your attack rating at the least.
  31.
  32. b) Grind and Rank
  33. You’ll want to grind to L99 and continue to do ops till you can equip that human catapault.
  34.
  35. Conculsion:
  36. At this point, you have a L99 team that is well geared. You are ready for the post game. Fiel has suggested war op parties that maximise efficiency and detachments that maximise delay. Do look into our more advanced guides.
