39. [ “Smoke rises from Eientei. The imperishable night grows late and Yukari flies to my shrine to seek my counsel. Isn’t that right?” The goddess of wind and rain smirked atop her opulent throne.
40. “Don’t be silly,” replied Yukari, exasperated. “You know this is a serious matter. Remilia and her entire house grow stronger as the night drags on. And what’s more…” Yukari paused, hesitating. “The Hakkero of Power has been found.”
41. Kanako frowned. “And you are sure of this?”
42. “All these years it was at the shrine, right under my very nose,” replied Yukari.
43. “Ha! Your love of the humans’ sake has clearly dulled your senses.”
44. “But we still have time to act, Kanako! We can stop her right in her tracks!”
45. Kanako raised her eyebrows. “Time? What time do you think we have when the enemy can choose to stop and slow time at their own leisure? Here, let me show you something.” She stood up and led Yukari into an adjacent room.
46. “Eirin has regained much of her former power,” continued Kanako. “She has returned to using the old Lunarian magics, and now with the unending and unnatural full moon, she is turning the wild youkai Inaba-mad and gathering them to form a great army for a grand assault on the rest of Gensokyo!”
47. “And how would you know this?” asked Yukari. “I’ve rarely seen you leave the shrine, except to visit the Human Village from time to time.”
48. “Ah, that’s the thing.” A smile slowly spread across Kanako’s face. “I have a little magic item of my own, you see.” The two of them now stood in front of a plinth, where lay an object covered in dark cloth. Kanako whisked the cloth away to reveal a perfectly spherical object covered in strange and cryptic markings.
49. “A moon rune is a dangerous tool, Kanako,” chided Yukari. “We do not know who else may be watching.”
50. “And why should I not use this power, when it is readily available before me? The hour is later than you think, Yukari. Eirin’s forces are already on the move. And what’s more, Remilia and her servants have left the mansion.”
51. Yukari gasped. “She’s left already?” Her thoughts immediately turned to Marisa and Reimu. “I must warn them!”
52. “No, no,” said Kanako somberly. “They’ll be at the shrine already. They will find the master Hakkero…and they will kill the one who carries it. It’s quite sad for Marisa – I always liked her spunk.”
53. Yukari turned towards the shrine exit, but Kanako waved her hand and a giant Shimenawa materialized in front of the entrance, blocking it. Thinking quickly, Yukari tried to open a gap, but to her surprise and her horror, she found her abilities nullified.
54. “I control the airspace here,” intoned Kanako. “No gaps for you. And did you seriously think mere humans could stand against the forces of Lunarian and youkai combined? No, no, no.” Kanako laughed, throwing her head back. “Against the power of the ancient magics we can do nothing. We must join with Eirin, Yukari. It would be wise. The alliance of the three “Ya’s”…we would be unstoppable!”
55. Yukari sneered. “When did the Independent and Inflexible God abandon reason for madness?”
56. Kanako’s eyes narrowed, and she stretched out her arm. An onbashira extended out of thin air and socked Yukari in the solar plexus. Yukari was thrown off her feet and into the wall, shooting pain through every orifice of her body.
57. “I choose this path of my own volition,” scowled Kanako. “I have no intention of falling to the forces of Eientei and being forced to grovel miserably under their banner. Thus, I have chosen to work with them for my own gains. As for you…well…I gave you the chance of working with us. But it looks like you have chosen instead a world of pain! ##Spellcard: Virtue of Wind God!”
58. The last thing Yukari remembered before blacking out was a camera whacking her in the face as the Moriya Shrine slowly receded in the distance below.]

67. I'll try, but wow writing takes a long time. Your summary is absolutely monstrous in size; I don't know how I'm ever going to find the energy to type up something like that (but I do have the story planned out though, yay!).
68. I thought about making the palantir a yin-yang orb at first but discarded that in favor of the horrible pun. :colonveeplusalpha:

73. That's an awfully aggressive move to be just spreading troops around, if that was your intention. It could be seen as an attack on both Germany and Austria. Not to mention it leaves your home supply center open. :derp:

91. [It could be seen, yes.. Though you should know I'm not, and I don't mind Germany thinking.. I'll keep one army in the middle somewhere.]
92.
93. Hmm, okay. I'm a little worried (of course) but I suppose I can trust you for now. After all, if you try to pull anything funny I can always do the same right back at you. :P
94.
95. But really, what are you planning to do with that army then? It's not helping you any in that position, unless you're teaming up with France against Germany (lol).

100. Is there any particular type of support which would be most helpful - i.e. at what location are you looking to strike?

105. Well, I'm not really too aggressive towards Russia at the moment, and I don't want to get tangled up with them because then I'll be fighting a two front war.
106. Not like you'll be able to touch Russia from there anyway, unless you plan on flying that tank over Eastern Europe. ;)

111. It's very suspicious. Although if you did ask for help against Russia, it makes a little more sense...but barely. Rather, he'll have to barrel through me before touching Russia, and I have no intention of allowing that. ;)
112.
113. HMMMMMM MAYBE THAT'S WHAT HE IS PLANNING.
114.
115. At the same time, I don't want to be wasting resources fighting Italy at the moment. I'll have to see where he takes this - it's not like he has a troop build anyway.
116.
117. Tactically, Schezo might be the better one to backstab based on starting positions, but you have to take into your general diplomatic relations and account for what Serp will do afterwards. Do you trust him to not attack you after you two carve up Russia? Norway's main entry into central Europe goes right through you as well.

129. Hmmmmmmmmm. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
130.
131. I don't really have a clue, actually. If you think you can make the deal and survive the fallout go for it. At the very least, if you go with Serp, I know Russia won't be a threat to me later in the game. Norway is really too far for me to worry about, so it's your call. :3
