>More precious seconds of stale silence pass

>The wind dies down, her eyes go back to normal, and she is generally calmer
>As soon as that happens, you let the shield warp and dissolve
>After what seems like an eternity of silence, Chrysalis walks over to you, and Cadenza walks to Twilight
>The queen of the changelings is approaching you, and now you're seeing her carry herself as her title demanded
>She goes slightly around you, to circle you
>When her head passes your ear (she's that close), you hear her whisper

>You suppress a grin
>Looks like you're lucky to know this side of her
>But she doesn't stop talking there
And so, here is the plan
>She speaks to you in a normal volume now, full of that superior tone
>The plan turns out to be deceptively simple
>Cadence was going to go with you to explore the everfree area
>But with the arrival of Twilight, things changed a bit
>Now, Twilight would be checking the castle, you and the queen would be at the Everfree, and Cadence would save her time and energies keeping watch over her people
>All of you would report back here by sundown in two days
>They think that King Sombra might play into this somehow, but you don't see it
>After all, he must have been dead for some time, right?
>It doesn't seem like that kind of evil place
>Although that thing that followed Twilight was pretty ominous
>So is the prospect of going to the homeland of that creature, the hydra
