  1. >April 16th, L.A., California
  2. >A flashing cell phone in the living room of your apartment calls to your attention
  3. >New voicemail
  4. “Hello, this is Stephaney from animal shelter. Thank you for wishing to adopt one or more of our dogs. Please come in this evening as soon as possible. The address is 555 Orange Ave. We can get the paper work all done for the dogs you want before anyone else can tomorrow. We’ll be sure to not mention our special offer to anyone else.”
  5. >Walking to your kitchen, a familiar figure sits at the table drinking the last of the coffee you made this morning.
  6. >A teenage Russian girl wearing a beanie looks up towards you.
  7. >She is no more than 16 years of age, 5’ 6” with a well-built look, medium-short, bristly near-black hair, and amber brown eyes with bags underneath.
  8. >She hasn’t been sleeping well.
  9. >Neither have you for that matter.
  10. “Finish your coffee up, Viveca, we’re going out.”
  11. >She quickly downs the coffee in a single gulp, and the both of you leave the apartment and drive off to your destination in your van.
  12.
  13. >555 Orange Ave.
  14. >An indiscrete building in the middle of a lot.
  15. >From what you can guess it is soundproofed to stifle any loud noises from the inside.
  16. >Probably to make sure no one hears the dogs inside.
  17. >You park your car close to the building, away from prying eyes and any cameras.
  18. >Once in position, you and your partner move towards the middle of the van, and prepare yourselves; you with your plate carrier, an old pair of deerskin gloves, ear-pro, and a boar mask
  19. > Viveca tosses off her beanie to reveal a pair of bristling, coarse boar ears, matching her own hair, and puts on a similar mask that you’re wearing.
  20. >Opening the door of your van, the pair get out and walk towards the door of the building.
  21. “Knock knock”
  22.
  23. >”The fuck you want hol-“
  24. >*BAM!*
  25. >You kick the door open in the face of the person just behind the door, and in one swift motion Viveca has already grabbed the knife the man dropped and stabbed him right in the forehead.
  26. >Immediately, another person from a closed room came running out.
  27. >Wasting no time, you punched the man in the jaw, his head making an audible crack on the wall. Not slowing down your momentum, you kick his head in, gore splattering all over the walls.
  28. >Another man from the same room comes running towards you with a bat.
  29. >Viveca immediately tackles him to the ground.
  30. >Before the man could react, you grab her
  31. >In a flash she has now turned into a vepr-12, and you let loose a round of buck into the head of the thug
  32. >Everyone on this floor has now likely heard you.
  33. >Readying yourself, you waste no time and head towards the next room adjacent to you.
  34. >Kicking the door open once again, you caught someone likely trying to open the door, throwing him on the ground.
  35. >Behind him were three other surprised armed thugs.
  36. >You fire three shots in rapid succession, leaving behind a bloody mess
  37. >Seeing the thug you knocked down get up from the floor, you throw Viveca right at him
  38. >In that instant, she transforms back into a human, knocking him back down and proceeded to hold him down by his neck.
  39. >Someone else down the hall was coming
  40. >You grabbed a pipe left on the ground.
  41. >No sooner, someone barged through the open door
  42. >*WHACK!* Smacking the pipe right on the face of the person barging in, you could feel his teeth and skull smashed in
  43. >Moving onto the thug still on the, Viveca moved out of the way as you let down a series of blows to the thug’s head until it was nothing but a gory mess.
  44. >Throwing away the pipe, you grab Viveca and she in turn transforms back into shotgun form.
  45. >Quickly inspecting the remaining rooms, you see no one.
  46. >”Floor clear, move to next floor.”
  47. >You drop her magazine, and switch her out with another 10 round magazine.
  48.
  49. >Basement floor
  50. >At the bottom of the stairs, a lone thug stands there with his back turned having a cigarette.
  51. >Kicking his back knee, yanking him down, and stomping on his throat.
  52. >Opening the door carefully, you see that it’s a wide open, dimly lit and unfinished basement, with two rooms at its side.
  53. >Towards the back are a bunch of thugs sitting watching loud TV, and playing pool.
  54. >You rifle through the dead man’s pockets, seeing if there were any keys.
  55. >None.
  56. >You make your way to the room on the right hoping it was unlocked, trying to keep a low profile.
  57. >Locked
  58. >Fuck
  59. >One of them yells something in Spanish, you don’t know or care.
  60. >You make you way to the adjacent room as 6 of them begin to move towards you
  61. >You fire three rapid rounds towards them, striking one in the chest and another in the stomach, and make your way to the other door. The remaining four momentarily stop, giving you enough time to reach the next room.
  62. >Video room, but no one inside.
  63. >Three of the thugs begin to run towards you now, knives in tow.
  64. >One in the back you see reaches into his pants
  65. >Two shots at him, one at the remaining charging thugs.
  66. >All of them now on the ground.
  67.
  68. >Putting down Viveca, she turns back into her human form.
  69. “Check the video room, Viv, and grab any tapes or feed. I’ll search them for the keys to the other room.”
  70. >”Da.”
  71. >Grabbing one of the knives, you confirm the kill for each of the thugs.
  72. >Upon reaching the thug in the back, you see a Hi-Point stick out in his pants.
  73. >You grab it, remove the magazine and clear the action, and find a set of keys in his pockets.
  74. >Returning to your gun, you see her opening up one of the computers connected to the surveillance system.
  75. “Hey Viv, this pistol have a geist?”
  76. >Viveca takes a quick glance at the Hi-Point and turns back to her task.
  77. >”Nyet, just some cheap toy. And don’t touch me with your gloves. Gloves likely covered in Pedro’s cheese now that you touched his gun.”
  78. “Thanks for the image. Going to open up the mystery door.”
  79. >Unlocking the previously locked door, you find yourself in a dark room smelling of piss, shit, and gunpowder.
  80. >Along the walls were rusty looking gun cabinets, and a door with a glowing outline.
  81. >You open the door, and there some scrawny scared looking ATF agent was on the toilet with his pants down.
  82. >”W-what are you doin-!?”
  83. >With the knife still in your hand, you thrust it in his chest, and close the door.
  84. >With that ugly business over with, you search the area for anything that’ll open the cabinets.
  85. >You find a set of keys and a manifest.
  86. > Waffegeist: 3 AR-15s, 2 AK-47s, 4 Ruger 10/22, 6 Shotguns (various)
  87. >”So what you find?”
  88. “Here’s the manifest. My guess is that this little gang have been stealing some legal guns from people, along with whatever they were willing to part with. Also, there’s a dead ATF agent in the next room. I wouldn’t go in.”
  89. >Walking towards the cabinets, you begin to unlock the doors to them.
  90. ”Check to see if everything in the manifest matches what we have.”
  91. >Going through each cabinet, you and your gun find all of the guns listed in the manifest.
  92. >Each and every one of the guns looked to be in a roughed up condition, and probably frightened given that none of them were turning into their human form.
  93. >Just to be sure, you and Viveca check their bolts to see if they’re still intact.
  94. >All solid. Looks to be they were about to be shipped off to one of the Anvils as tax credit or something.
  95. >Fucking government going as far as to collude with gangs.
  96.
  97. >Back in the van
  98. >7 of the guns, now in the human form, sat huddled in the back, still bewildered, the other 8 being embraced by those who are human. Viveca sat in the passenger seat and you driving.
  99. >Both of you removed your masks, and she put her beanie back on.
  100. >Long night, long drive to San Bernardino to make the drop off.
  101. >There, you hand off any of the liberated Waffegeist to a gun runner who will take them across and out of CA.
  102. >Or at least that is what they say. You try not to think too hard about it, save for trying to see faces in the news.
  103. >Your vepr-12 seemed to have been in the same mind as well.
  104. >Midnight
  105. >You arrived to your destination, a large storage unit facility.
  106. >The entire drive was quiet, boring, but no cops and no worries.
  107. >But, would it kill to have one of the guns behind to say anything?
  108. >You and your gun put your masks on, opened the gate, and drove in.
  109. >Parked was a moving truck with a person wearing a coyote mask, along with a smaller figure wearing the same mask.
  110. >You and Viveca get out of the van, and walk towards to two.
  111. >”You look like shit. Did the dogs slobber all over you?”
  112. “You could say that. Anyway to business, I have 15 dogs from Stephaney in the back. They may need a bath before they’re adopted.”
  113. >”Right, let’s get this done with quick. There’s a change of clothes in the back that Steph left you. You can get into once the dogs in the truck.”
  114. >Opening the back of the van, you and your gun escort the girls into the back of the moving truck.
  115. >Inside there were 6 other bewildered and tattered looking guns.
  116. >Could get a little cramped if more come in, but they can be hidden as guns if space becomes an issue.
  117. >Whatever, not your problem.
  118. >You grab the extra pair of clothes for you and Viveca, and tidy up.
  119. >Another log trip back, but hopefully it should be better than the trip over.
  120.
  121. >Driving back home
  122. “So what hit makes this now?”
  123. >”Fifth hit.”
  124. >Feel like your hundredth.
  125. >You pull out a pack of your cigarettes and light one.
  126. >Sweet relief
  127. >”Give me one as well.”
  128. “I don’t want to get pulled over because a cop saw someone that looks 16 smoking a cig, Viv…”
  129. >She glares right at you.
  130. “Fine, here.”
  131. >You hand her a single cig and your lighter.
  132. “You know you shouldn’t have those. It could foul up your internals.”
  133. >”And these can foul up your squishy internals as well. Plus, you’re going to clean me when we get back home anyway. I don’t like feeling any Juan on me.”
  134. “Phew, little miss piggy is developing an attitude and some humor. I don’t remember this side of you when we first met.”
  135. >”Very funny, coming from American pig.”
  136. “The very same one you decided to be your owner after I busted you out from that one den of those anti-gun hippies trying to burn you and a bunch of other geists in that morgue. “
  137. >She takes a drag and sighs.
  138. >”Not a fond memory at the time.”
  139. >You take a drag yourself a sigh.
  140. “Think this will ever be over? A day in which we stop receiving mysterious calls and those trying to destroy your sisters no longer have power?”
  141. >”I am gun. What happens in future doesn’t matter, only that I serve my master. Either we die and that be end of it, flee like cowards, or we succeed.”
  142. >True enough, she continues to hold that gun pride.
  143. >”We’re deep in this already, no backing out. Shit, I don’t even see faces of those we kill now. Do you?”
  144. >The both of us take a drag.
  145.
  146. >Back at the Apartment
  147. >You left your carrier plate and mask back in the van, not wishing to have anyone see you wear and hold the two.
  148. >You feel tired, but your gun does need to be cleaned.
  149. “Hey Viv, can’t you clean yourself?”
  150. >”Nyet, doesn’t count. I have to be cleaned by human.”
  151. >Of course…
  152. “Alright, I’ll get the kit and some rubber gloves.”
  153. >Grabbing the kit, you return to your vepr-12 already in gun form, ready for cleaning.
  154. >Getting a good look at her, she is indeed covered in plenty of blood and general residue.
  155. >You take special care of removing all the blood wherever it splattered using bleach.
  156. >Hell, some of the blood managed to find its way into the receiver.
  157. >Hope guns can’t get Hep. B
  158. >Once it looked sterilized enough, solvent was applied to remove any of the left over gun powder and residue.
  159. >Took a good half hour in the barrel before the cloth came out acceptably clean, while everything was relatively fine.
  160. >Next came the lube, to give Viveca a nice sheen.
  161. “Alright, cleaning is done. Gonna wash off myself as well and hit the sack.”
  162. >You get up and head towards the bathroom.
  163. >You see in the corner of your eye she turned back into her human form, but you just don’t care enough to check her out as you had before.
  164. >You make your way to the shower, change out of your jeans and t-shirt, and got in.
  165. >You remember the first time you cleaned her, right after she took you for her owner.
  166. >Surprised you at first when you cleaned her for the first time she went from wearing her normal clothes to being in a black bra and a thong.
  167. >She didn’t seem embarrassed at the time, but thankful. Then quickly ran over to my closet to find some clothes.
  168. >You remember looking a little bewildered.
  169. >”What? You clean me, and I’m happy to feel clean again. Thank you.”
  170. “No, why are you in your underwear?”
  171. >”You get naked to wash yourself, da? No different with gun.”
  172. >Since then, it just seemed like that, just washing yourself.
  173. >You get out, brush your teeth, and take a couple of Benadryl.
  174. >Sleep has been getting more difficult with each hit, no matter how much good you do.
  175. >You slowly walk over to your bed in nothing but your boxers
  176. >Lifting the sheets, you see Viveca already in the bed trying to sleep.
  177. “Move over”
  178. >”Der’mo…”
  179. >Opening the covers, you see she is just wearing a t-shirt and her thong, with her little boar tail exposed.
  180. >She turns over and slowly moves to the other side
  181. >You get and let the Benadryl do its work.
