  1. There's 3 core parts to Diavolo's stand power (beyond being a SP/TW/CD style punchghost):
  2.
  3. 1. Epitah. This is a sub-stand, like Killer Queen's Sheer Heart Attack. It allows Diavolo to look up into the inside of his hair bangs and see 10 seconds into the future, without context. Stress the "without context" part. You may see somebody impaled with a sword in a puddle of blood, but it may end up it's a halloween prop and the blood is actually strawberry jam. It's not clear if Epitah gives you a "snapshot", or if as long as Diavolo looks up, he sees the future play out like video.
  4.
  5. 2. King Crimson's intial activation. Diavolo decides he wants to use king crimson. Time "freezes" as with TW, but instead of it just being frozen time, Diavolo sees the actual actions of events of the next 10 seconds (if he's using it for the max time) overlayed unto each other in the world around him. IE, if a ball is thrown at a speed of 1 ft per second right as KC starts, Diavolo would see the ball repeating itself 10 times, each a foot apart, hanging still in the air. The actual events and actions being shown are what was/were going to happen during the next 10 seconds, assuming Diavolo did not use KC. Diavolo is unique is that he is aware that KC is being used, and that his actions are not set in stone/decided, and he can use the 10 second period however he wants with Epitah's visions and the overlayed events in mind, and can walk around the frozen world much like DIO.
  6.
  7. 3. KC's effect triggers. Instead of time "unfreezing", as with DIO, time instead "skips" to the "last frame" of that 10 second period, and where Diavolo decided he wanted to be. To follow up with the ball example, time will have skipped to the last of the 10 balls, the one 10 feet away from where it was thrown. Any of the "frames" between second 0 and second 10 ceased to have exist. Therefore, even if the ball had been thrown in such a way where it flies through a window and breaks it 5 seconds into it's flight, when time "unfrezes", the window will not have been broken, because the window breaking occured at "frame 5". Likewise, Diavolo cannot attack or interact with anything inside his frozen time, since those interactions would be "skipped".*
  8.
  9. *it's worth noting that there's an obvious discrepancy of "well, wouldn't the window breaking still be a "predestined" event that is overlayed into the frozen time, so when KC ends, the shards would just be suddenly on the floor"? It's not clear why that isn't the case, but that's how it works. Maybe only object "interactions" are erased? Maybe the window would in fact be broken, and the "frame erasure" part of the effect only applies to stuff interating with Diavolo, since the only time this is actually demonstrated is when diavolo uses KC as bullets are being fired towards him, he doesn't move out of the way of their pathways, and after skip, the bullets are simply past him where they would be at the 10 second mark past him, with no damage done to diavolo; and demonstrated by the fact diavolo is never seen attacking or interacting with other things inside the 10 second period, only manuvering himself into a position to dodge or strike after.
