  71. [spoiler=Background]Bazur was born of an enslaved orc woman and a drunken human noble. When he was born, his mother and he were chased out of their town, with a bounty on their heads. They traveled through the south, hiding in small villages and cities until they finally reached the northern part of the continent. Eventually the two came upon a small tribe of pureblood orcs, called the Swiftleg Tribe, who grudgingly accepted the mother and her pup. For many years they lived among the tribe, Bazur's mother working as a midwife and cook for the sometimes almost feral group. However, Bazur himself was the subject of bullying and hazing by the orcish children, and scorn and prejudice from the older Swiftleg tribesmen, save one.

  73. That man was Lor, witch doctor and leader of the Swiftlegs. He held himself above petty hatreds and prejudices, seeking only what was best for their continued survival. Lor's body was covered in horrific self-inflicted scars, symbols of his sacrifices to a higher power to receive power and knowledge to lead properly. When Bazur was 150 moons old, Lor began his search for an apprentice. He knew he would not live much longer, especially due to the wandering hunting bands searching for the collected nomadic orcs he lead. However, no orcs would willingly send their children to be the man's successor. His path was one of great pain and sacrifice, and they would not risk their precious pureborn sons on a path they considered suicidal.

  75. Bazur was given up by the oldest males of the tribe, intending his sacrifice to be a lesson to all against the dangerous magics Lor controlled. But Bazur endured, becoming hearty and wise. As he grew, so did the number of scars that marred his strong, but slightly hefty, form. When he reached 240 moons, nearly middle-age for the nomadic orcs, the half-orc boy who had be so maligned by his tribe had earned himself the position of Swiftleg witch doctor and leader. With Lor's death to hunters, it fell to Bazur to provide spiritual and secular guidance to those who had treated him so poorly. But, like his predecessor, the man did not wish to concern himself with the petty hatreds of those who didn't know better.

  77. Bazur was a fair, impartial and wise leader, allowing the Swiftlegs to prosper even in adversity. Their numbers swelled with exiled and escaped orcs and half-orcs alike. Eventually, they formed a small tribal city on the banks of a river, which they called Lorkhai. But this city did not last for long, for the hunters had recieved word that the Swiftleg Tribe had settled, and gathered all their number to finally kill or capture them all. In the dark of night, while Bazur was away to commune with spirits and gather herbs, the hunters swarmed the sleeping village, slaughtering or capturing anyone and everyone they could get their hands on. The whole area was torched, and when Bazur returned two days later, all he found was ash, bone and rotting burnt flesh. The previously calm and reserved man snapped, swearing vengeance on those who had killed or enslaved his tribesmen, to engrave every single one of his scars on those who had wronged him.

Bazur believes that balance and moderation are the pinnacles of a strong, lasting society, and that communal cooperation is key to spreading and maintaining the rules and requirements of such a society. He believes the forces that control time commune with him through his fetish mask, and give him advice on how to rebuild his tribe and allow it to exist long after he passes.

  81. Now Bazur is searching human villages to find those who assisted in the destruction of the Swiftleg Tribe. He is also looking for beleaguered and enslaved orcs and half-orcs to free and rebuild the tribe, and eventually, to build a country for him and his orc brethren.[/spoiler]

  83. [spoiler=Physical Description]Tall and heavy-set, Bazur's only noteworthy physical characteristic are the horrific self-inflicted scars on his body. His black hair is kept in a ponytail, with animal bones and grasses woven into it. His scarred face is most often hidden beneath his fetish mask, the thin slits only barely showing his blood-red eyes.[/spoiler]

  85. [spoiler=Personality]Bazur is very calm and collected for a half-orc, and his age is because of this. He seeks balance in all things, moderation is his ideal. Before his tribe was destroyed, he lead them well with this policy, even if the young ones did not understand. However, since the slaughter of his tribe, he is now struggling to maintain the balance between his calm, reasonable mind and the mad, dark urges that sometimes nearly overcome him.[/spoiler]
