- Fluff: Alice D Rivers is eccentric. Born to parents who died shortly after her birth she was raised by her great uncle who told her grand stories of humanities early days in space. The money she inherited from both her parents and her grand uncle all went towards making one of the most dangerous and outlawed ships in human space functional again. Now with a crew of loyal servants (mostly maids.) she has set off to relive the age of humanities first steps into the stars. Despite her eccentricities she really is a good pilot and decent archaeologist, skilled in unearthing old relics from the planets she visits.
- Bonus: (Dreamer or visionary?) You dream of humanities age of expansion when the U.R.E was much more aggressive and entire native populations and ecologies were often wiped out by the terraforming and colonization. Even so the age was glorious for the humans who lived it, fortunes were made and lost and any individual could rise to great fame and fortune with claims on planets and new discoveries, unfortunately that time is long passed and new regulations and laws with the U.R.E have outlawed such aggressive expansion and colonization and the “Fair Chance” act outlaws any tampering with underdeveloped aliens or planets, you disagree with this which is the main reason that you refurbished and upgraded one of the ancient “Planet Cracker” series ships. Your training in Archeology and as a pilot will be most helpful for exploring the galaxy and who knows, perhaps you’ll find a lost treasure planet?
- (What your bonus actually does) You know a lot of the history of the old U.R.E and you know your way around a ships controls quite well, you’re always pretty good at surveying planets for oddities.
- Race: Human
- Inventory:
- Civilian Issue Jumpsuit *Modified* (A high quality jump suit with built in shield emitters, if your shields are at full you can even survive the vacuum of space for a good five minutes.)
- Civilian Issue E-39 Desecrator Rifle (A weaker version of the military issue E-99 the Desecrator Rifle is a gruesome but feared weapon that splits the a target at the molecular scale in two, Yours can’t get through dense material like armor so well but against unarmored targets it’s quite effective.)
- Maids (Your staff and crew, you can fluff them out a little if you’d like but you can only have at max 5 and that would be a tight fit.
- Credits 13,000 (You’ve spent a lot on the ship, more than you’d care to admit but you don’t care, it’s all worth it to have a piece of the U.R.E’s glory days.
- Ship Name: Ishimura
- Ship Class: Planet Cracker
- Ship Size: 35 meters
- Ship Fluff: In the early days the Planet Cracker class was all that kept humanity from devolving into barbarism, bringing much needed resources to the planet Earth and the few colonies it had. As new ways of doing things developed and the colonies themselves turned productive the Ishimura and her sisters became superfluous, and were retired. Should someone discover that her captain has refurbished Ishimura she'll be impounded, and her captain subsequently arrested, given trial and shot. For destroying entire planets just to fuel someones greed is seen equal to treason or other such heinous crimes.
- Ship Bonus: One of the ancient and banned “Planet Cracker” series. While yours is the smallest model it is still a part of a series that has spelt the doom of hundreds of worlds, a fleet of these could turn a lush vibrant planet into an uninhabitable wasteland in just a month while turning an astronomical profit, your single one can’t quite do that but it can still drill asteroids/planets quite well and even salvage derelict space craft. Yours has also been modified to support your *ahem* “Crew” comfortably. Initial scans from a standard patrol won’t even ID you as a Planet Cracker but advanced scanners can still place your ship’s illegal additions and origin. You’ve certainly spent a good chunk of your inheritance on the Ishimura and now you have what is likely one of the best mining/salvage ship of its size in the galaxy.
- Ship Weapons:
- +Cracker Missiles (Normally used in the initial stages of a large scale mining operation but you can still use them on other ships, they aren’t too good on shields but unshielded hulls crack right open)
- +Size 1 Disruptor Repeater. (Basic Disruptor, quite good on shields)
- Ship Systems:
- +Size 1 Shield Generator
- +Size 1 Hull Plating
- +Size 2 Thrusters
- + Size 1 Tractor Beam
- +Size 2 Scanners (You can find new jump points or spatial anomalies, you can also scan planets or ships to find out more about them)
- + Modified Living spaces (Less cargo space but it can support your larger crew)
- + “Cracker” Series Salvage/Reclamation
- + Modified Civ Nav System (You have access to some more navigation databases than a normal civ)
- Cargo:
- Updates: long
