[06:28] <!Emilybroshoujo> Thunder strikes and it rattles the windows of the palace.
[06:28] <!Emilybroshoujo> Mesina cowers behind Lucia in the dining hall.
[06:29] <!Emilybroshoujo> "I hate weather like this." she whines with overly animated tears trailing down her face.
[06:29] <!Emilybroshoujo> "It's just thunder." Lucia says with a warm smile.
[06:30] <!Emilybroshoujo> Aldeas sits next to her pointing his fork at Zephros and Kendrick and explaining to them the reasoning behind allowing the Queen's of all Demon's and Devil's to attend the peace talks.
[06:30] <!Emilybroshoujo> They do not seem convinced.
[06:31] <!Emilybroshoujo> "JUST thunder!?" Mesina continues.
[06:31] <!Emilybroshoujo> "Thunder means lightning! I don't like things that can kill me that I can't outrun." She says as she rubs her face against Lucia's.
[06:32] <!Emilybroshoujo> "Hehe~ I'm sure you'll be fine if you stay in the palace."
[06:33] <!Emilybroshoujo> Lucia places a cookie in Mesina's mouth which she nibbles on while crying.
[06:33] <!Emilybroshoujo> Meanwhile outside the palace lightning strikes the spire of the local church.
[06:34] <!Emilybroshoujo> As the flash subsides a woman remains perched atop the church.
[06:35] <!Emilybroshoujo> Her body is a soft glowing mass of blue energy with clearly defined female features.
[06:36] <!Emilybroshoujo> Her eyes and mouth glow with a white hot energy, curling into a smile, as her "hair" of deep blue flames wafts in the stormy winds.
[06:37] <!Emilybroshoujo> The woman of pure plasma transforms into a bolt of energy and ricochets across the city before crashing into the throne room through the door.
[06:37] <!Emilybroshoujo> The massive double doors are blown on and the clap of thunder causes Mesina to scream an extremely long string of swears and dive under the dining table.
[06:38] <!Emilybroshoujo> Aldeas and the mages quickly stand and hurry to see what caused the commotion.
[06:38] <!Emilybroshoujo> The woman kneels in a crater with blue flames swirling around her.
[06:39] <!Emilybroshoujo> "I am Xetra, Queen of Energy." She says as she stands, her voice crackling like static.
[06:39] <!Emilybroshoujo> Aldeas approaches and bows extending his hand towards her without fear.
[06:40] <!Emilybroshoujo> She presents her hand to him with a smile and Aldeas kisses the back it, energy sparking between her and his lips as he pulls away.
[06:41] <!Emilybroshoujo> "How brave, most men tremble just from being in my presence." The living storm of energy says with a playful grin.
[06:42] <!Emilybroshoujo> Kendrick grips his arm tightly in an attempt to halt his shaking as Zephros places a hand on his shoulder.
[06:42] <!Emilybroshoujo> "Welcome to my palace, Lady Xetra. It's an honor to have the queen of the entire Spectrum of Elemental Energy here."
[06:43] <!Emilybroshoujo> "I doubt you've ever had an extended conversation with a human, so on behalf of my race I'd like to thank you for fire, heat, and the foundation of all technology, life, and magic." Aldeas laughs.
[06:43] <!Emilybroshoujo> The queen giggles.
[06:44] <!Emilybroshoujo> "Don't mention it." She replies with a wide smile, her grin literally illuminating the room.
[06:45] <!Emilybroshoujo> "I was unsure how to prepare quarters for a being of pure energy, so I instead had the entire palace covered in grounding tiles and the walls run through with conductive cables so that you can move freely within them."
[06:46] <!Emilybroshoujo> "How fun!~" Xetra says happily as she places her hands together.
[06:46] <!Emilybroshoujo> Lucia and Mesina finally enter the throne room.
[06:47] <!Emilybroshoujo> The much taller redhead cowers behind her tiny blonde queen.
[06:47] <!Emilybroshoujo> Lucia bows.
[06:47] <!Emilybroshoujo> "Welcome Lady Xetra." She says.
[06:48] <!Emilybroshoujo> Mesina's eyes go white with fear.
[06:48] <!Emilybroshoujo> 'There's a monster queen that's a LIVING BOLT OF LIGHTNING!?'
[06:49] <!Emilybroshoujo> "Can... can I just be writen out of the story now?" Mesina says as she collapses against the wall.
[06:49] <!Emilybroshoujo> Lucia pats her head.
[06:50] <!Emilybroshoujo> Xetra smiles as she observes the silly antics of the creatures before her, ammused as she always has been by their liveliness.
[06:51] <!Emilybroshoujo> "Lady Xetra, may I be so bold as to ask why you. Arguably the most powerful entity in existence, saw fit to respond to my insignificant request?" Aldeas asks.
[06:52] <!Emilybroshoujo> Xetra smiles a pokes the king's nose.
[06:52] <!Emilybroshoujo> "Because humans are funny, and I want to see how far you can go silly.~" She giggles.
[06:53] <!Emilybroshoujo> Aldeas smiles and laughs to himself as a loud clap of thunder and lightning lights up the capital.
