- "Are you okay?"
- >"Y-yeah... I'm all right."
- >Applebloom is visibly trembling, staring at the big wooden barn door.
- >Her eyes dart to you.
- >You nod, then slowly push the door open.
- >Her pupils shrink when she beholds the chimera, laying calmly on their belly at the far wall of the barn, as if she wasn't really expecting them to be there.
- >Three heads look up when you enter, then turn, in unison, from you to the small filly at your side.
- >They instantly look guilty, and Sally ducks her head behind her sisters.
- >The five of you just stand there for a moment. Applebloom stares at the chimera, they stare at her, and you look expectantly back and forth between them.
- >None of them say anything, though.
- >AB is still quaking in her metaphorical boots, and Teri, Grace, and Sally probably have no idea what to say to somepony they tried wholeheartedly to devour on their last meeting.
- >This wasn't gone go anywhere if they just stared each other down all day.
- >You nudge Applebloom's side, and she nearly leaps into the air.
- "Go on."
- >She swallows audibly, her eyes flicking from one set of fangs to the next.
- "Go on! I'll be right by your side."
- >You look to the chimera, and they meet your eyes.
- >You try to convey, through your look, how important this reunion is.
- >"U-um..."
- >Applebloom takes another few wobbly steps forward, stopping about five feet from the prone form of the chimera.
- >"Uh... h-hi..."
- >Teri and Grance glance at each other, and Sally peeks her head out from behind them.
- >"H-how are... y'all doin'? Are you, uh..."
- >She looks increasingly faint.
- >"Are you... e-enjoying the barn?"
- >You smile at the three sisters, encouraging a response, but none of them seem to know what to say.
- >Looks like it's up to you to break the ice.
- >You kneel down, putting one arm around Applebloom and the other around Teri.
- "I don't think you've been properly introduced. Applebloom, this is Teri, Grace, and Sally. They're my new friends."
- >You turn to the chimera.
- "Now, do you three have something to say?"
- >Grace grins sheepishly, and Teri fidgets with her paws.
- >Teri speaks up first, after you give her a stern look.
- >"H-hey... sorry about... um...."
- >Sally picks up where her sister left off.
- >"Trying to eat you."
- >"Y-yeah."
- >"Like I said... we can go a little crazy when we go so long without food."
- "But that's not gonna happen anymore, because the Apples and I are gonna keep you fed. Right?"
- >You look at the chimera.
- >"Uh, right."
- >"Right."
- >"That's ri-i-i-ight."
- >You look down at Applebloom.
- >"Wh-what?"
- "You promise to let them live here in peace, and let me keep them fed?"
- >"Oh, uh... s-sure. If you think it's right."
- "Good!"
- >You smile at them.
- "Now, how about a group hug?"
- >Applebloom's eyes widen.
- >"Wha-? W-wait, I-"
- "Hug!"
- >You pull the five of you close together.
- >Your face is squished between Teri and Applebloom.
- >They both look embarrassed and nervous, but after a moment, Teri hesitantly puts a paw around you, and Applebloom does the same with her hoof, causing the two to touch behind your back.
- >They both flinch, then relax again.
- >It takes several more awkward seconds, but you can feel the tension in the room ebbing away slowly.
- >"Well, those two look like they're getting along fine to me."
- >You and Candy watch from the porch as Applebloom leads the chimera around the farmstead.
- >She still looks a little bit nervous as she points out the general things-we-got-'round-here.
- >Though she also seems to be curious about what she'd assumed previously to be a ferocious beast.
- "Four."
- >You take a sip from your mason jar full of lemonade.
- "Each head is its own girl."
- >"Hmm."
- >Candy mirrors you, then lets out a satisfied breath.
- >When cousin Candy Apples (honorary cousin to you) had shown up on the Sweet Apple Acres doorstep without warning, it had been quite a task explaining the three-headed monster roaming around the fields.
- >What a time for her to make a surprise visit.
- >She didn't get hung up over the chimera the way you thought she would, though.
- >This was only your third time seeing Cousin Candy, but she was quickly demonstrating herself to be one of the more level-headed members of this great, big family.
- >You recline in your chair, watching Sally, Grace, Teri, and Applebloom.
- >This could be a good sign of things to come.
- >Hearing the screen door open behind you, the two of you look around in unison.
- >"How are they doin' out there?"
- >The way Applejack says it, and how her brow furrows when she sees her sister leading the chimera around, you can tell she's still worried.
- "She's just showing them around the farm. We've had eyes on her the whole time."
- >"Relax, AJ."
- >Candy flashes a warm smile.
- >"I know you can't help worryin'. She is your little sis, after all."
- >Her eyes move back to you.
- >"But Anon wouldn't bring nothin' round here if he thought it was all that dangerous. Would ya?"
- "Of course not."
- >AJ lets the air out of her chest slowly.
- >She sinks into the empty rocking chair usually occupied by Granny Smith, then starts to rub at her temple.
- >"But... well, we all make mistakes sometimes. Some bigger than others..."
- "So, what do you guys think of the farm?"
- >You lie on your side next to the chimera, propped up on one arm and idly stroking Grace's hair with the other.
- >Since Candy is now sleeping in the guest bed (your usual bed), you had an excuse to spend the night in the barn with your new friends.
- >Candy had insisted she could take the couch, but dropped the issue when it became obvious that you were glad to give up your room.
- >The looks on their faces when you trudged into the barn in your pajamas, toting your pillow and blanket, and told them you were gonna have a sleepover was truly heartwarming.
- >"It's sssso... clear, out here," says Sally, perched wearily atop Teri's head.
- >"You can see for miles in any direction," Teri adds. "It's a lot to take in at once."
- "I can imagine. You really lived in that dingy swamp all your lives?"
- >"We tri-i-ied to move farther north, once. But the ponies forced us ba-a-a-ack."
- >Grace shakes her head solemnly.
- >"I ne-e-ever thought we'd find a place to really settle down."
- >"We're not supposed to have thoughts like that."
- >Teri casually plays around with a piece of hay as she talks.
- >"Monsters like us are born into a territory, usually a cave, or ancient jungle, or something, and that's our territory. We just defend it until we die."
- "How do you know that? Have you met other chimeras?"
- >Grace and Teri shake their heads simultaneously while Sally hisses a tired "nope."
- >"It's just... a thing that you... know. You know? We're supposed to be satisfied with what we had, we know that. But for some reason we weren't."
- >Teri was starting to lose you.
- "But I mean, how do you know you're supposed to be satisfied with that if nobody's ever told you? Maybe what you're feeling is totally normal."
- >They look confused.
- >"We just... we know, you know?"
- >It didn't seem like you'd get any more info from pressing her on it.
- >Some of these magical creatures just had innate instincts telling them how to live, apparently.

- >You let out a big yawn, resting your head against your pillow.
- >The barn floor was surprisingly comfortable.
- >Not exactly as nice as a mattress...
- >But it wasn't horrible, especially when you had a nice, big, warm cuddlemuffin laying right next to you.
- >You rolled that word around in your head for a bit, considered saying it aloud, then thought better of it.
- >The chimera curls up against your side like a huge cat.
- >Grace lays her head against yours, and you cradle her in your arms like an oversized teddy bear.
- >Teri pits her head on your chest, and Sally slithers up between the two, planting a soft kiss on your lips before curling herself up just below your collarbone.
- >You're once again surprised at how warm and cuddly the little snake is.
- >Pressed against you and grinning just a little, she seems to be listening to your heartbeat.
- >Being like this, surrounded by your loved ones...
- >You'd never had such an experience before meeting them.
- >It was hard to describe the feeling of total acceptance you got being like this with them, and you knew they got from being with you.
- >You were content to simply bask in it for now.
- >Minutes tick by, and you hear Grace begin to snore lightly, but you try to remain awake.
- >You just want to focus on this feeling for now, which you can't do if you're asleep.
- >At this moment, it's you and them; nothing else matters.
- >Not the chores you'll have to do tomorrow, not the slight itchiness of the hay under your arm, not the creaking of the barn door...
- >None of it.
- >Mmm...
- >Wait... huh? What?
- >"...hey...."
- >You struggle to make out the voice, barely a whisper.
- >"...Anon..... are you awake?"
- "Candy...?"

- >She tiptoes (tip-hoofs?) into the barn, shutting the door behind her as quietly as she can.
- >She lays beside you, opposite the chimera, and you notice she's brought her own blanket down here as well.
- >"I didn't feel right forcin' ya out of your bed," she explains in a hushed whisper, her head right next to your ear.
- >"So I thought I'd come spend the night with the bunch o' y'all."
- >She grins at you cutely.
- >She's taken her hair out of its braids, and it flows in messy yet silky waves around her face.
- "It's fine, really. I wanted to come out here, anyways."
- >"And so did I."
- >She tosses her blanket over herself, resting her chin against your shoulder.
- >It probably would've looked silly to an outsider how many different heads were resting on you right now.
- >You didn't mind, though. In fact, she was a welcome addition to the 'slumber party.'
- >"I hardly got to spend any time with ya the last few times I was out here. I wanna get to know ya better."
- "Well, I mean..."
- >You glance at the gently snoozing chimera, contentedly nuzzled against you.
- "I'd like that, but we probably shouldn't talk too much..."
- >"That's okay. You'd be surprised how just bein' around someone is enough to bond with 'em. And I wanna get to know both you, and your little cutie pie friends."
- "Well, okay. The more the merrier. Welcome aboard the Anon express."
- >You put your arm against her, pulling her close to add to the collective warmth of your cuddly bundle.
- >She settles in nicely, taking up the empty real estate of your left chest and shoulder.
- >"Good night."
- >She pecks you on the cheek.
- >Tonight was turning out pretty nice.
- >You'd had a good feeling about this pony the first then you met her.
- >She'd seemed the kind willing to accept new things, be they tall, lanky biped monsters or three-headed beastly ones.
- >You slowly drift back into your peaceful calmness, when...
- >To your complete shock, Grace suddenly moans softly in your ear.
- >"O-ohhhh... An... non..."
- >You glance over at Candy.

- >Eyes still squeezed shut, Candy pretends not to hear it, but the way her ears twitch is a giveaway.
- >A moment later, Grace continues her mumbled, sensual bleating.
- >"A...Ahhh... Mmmph..."
- >You glance from her to Candy and back.
- >"A...non... uhhhh... f... uh... fuck m..."
- >Was she having a wet dream? Right now, of all times?
- >You plant your lips against hers, hoping it's enough to silence her.
- >At first, it seems to work, and she settles back against you with a final soft whine.
- >That was close.
- >Seconds later, though, you feel the chimera's nether region begin to grind slowly against your waist.
- >Candy doesn't even attempt to ignore this one, watching you get humped unabashedly.
- >She locks eyes with you, then looks away, face reddening.
- >"Shouldn't you, uh... you know... do something? About that?"
- >You're starting to feel a moist spot against your thigh.
- "Um... y-yeah... But..."
- >Was she just gonna sit there while you... took care of the issue?
- "Are you, um...."
- >"A-Anon... Mmmm..."
- >And Grace was moaning even louder now.
- >"D-don't worry about me."
- >Her face is thoroughly flushed now as she stares straight at the chimera's dripping gash rubbing against you.
- >"I know how girls work... This is nothing n-new to me..."
- >...
- >Was she serious?
- >You had to admit, the idea of her watching was creating a tightness in your own PJ bottoms.
- >But, no way! That was totally weird.
- >She was family. Well, sort of.
- >And you hardly knew her...
- >But... well, if she said it was okay...
- >Wordlessly, you move your hand between the chimera' hind legs, rubbing two fingers against their slick lower lips.
- >You glance at Candy again.
- >She's just staring, transfixed, her mouth open slightly.
- >You probe along their pussy, trying to schlick them off before you make any more of a scene.
- >Teri's eyes slowly flutter open at your attentions.
- >"O-Ohhh.... Mmm... Anon? What are you..."
- "Shhh..."
- >You quiet her with a kiss, sliding one finger a few inches into their already-soaking tunnel.
